I am sorry for taking so long- My main reason for writing this chapter was out of pure boredom. Also, this is completely from memory, so sorry if things aren't detailed or stuff is wrong, lol.

(Shinso's POV)

Ok, so Bakugo's 'speech' sucked. Like really sucked. Now everyone is mad at his arrogance, which is just absolutely fantastic, now we don't have to just go against like over a hundred other students, they're also twice as mad at us.

Absolutely swell isn't it?

The first challenge, part, whatever you want to call it, is an obstacle course sort of thing. We start in the arena and go out, and then go through a series of obstacles all whilst trying to get in first.

Since I am the only one who actually studied this thing, I know that getting first is a bad idea, so I planned out my own strategy! We are allowed to use our quirks after all.

"Whatcha smiling about Hito?" Yasu asked me.

"I just came up with a plan, that's all." I told her. We were all at the starting line, waiting for the countdown.

"Can I help?" She asked. I looked at her confused, and she pointed to her forehead. "Oh! Yeah, you can help. Do you want me to control you or not?"

"Well, I don't exactly want to be aware while carrying my friend to victory, so go ahead." She told me.

"Ok, what's your favourite food?" I asked.

"Ramen." She answered, her face going blank immediately.

And like that,I gathered a few more students to carry me to the finish line. Don't get me wrong, I don't like controlling people like this, but physically I don't think I would be able to get in to the next round without using others. Plus, by doing this, I can really test the strength of my quirk.

And so the countdown commenced.

Three.

Two.

One.

Go!

(Izuku's POV)

Phew, ok so the first obstacle is the zero pointers from the entrance exams. The most logical thing for me to do is just by pass them, so that is exactly what I am going to do. What I wasn't expecting was for Todoroki to come in and make things, what's the word, difficult.

He used his ice to get himself passed the robots, only to make them collapse the next second, luckily I was able to use my quirk and slightly slowed their collapse and boosted my own speed.

I just barely made it through.

I do not want to use my quirk a lot, I need to focus in saving it for whatever is next.

The next obstacles were somewhat easy I guess, don't get me wrong, they were challenging and definitely slowed me down a bit, but I got through them right?

Now the next obstacle is different, it's a mine field. I need to watch my step, there isn't a way to get around this quickly, you either take your time and go through it carefully, or you get blown up.

BOOM.

A student that was a bit away from me must have stepped on one, the explosion was different than I thought. It wasn't really real, but it still had force.

Now continuing my thought, you could take your time and go through it, or you could get blown up, but now I have an alternative. Why not fly over it? If Kacchan could do it with his quirk, then I can do it with these mines.

I started to carefully move the mines close to me in one spot, I am so glad that I kept a piece of the zero pointers from the beginning, I was able to gather about ten. I hope this works. I just might be able to pass both Todoroki and Kacchan, especially if I use my quirk to slightly boost my speed and such.

And so I jumped on top of the mines, using the the metal plate as a sort of sled thingy and I became air born. 

And I passed everyone else.

Todoroki and Kacchan were right behind me. I need to stay ahead. I used my quirk to boost my quirk and reduce any resistance. Hopefully the two behind me wouldn't notice.

I passed the finish line, Todoroki passing it not a second after, with Bakugo hot on his trail.

I had win in first place!

I watched fellow students finish as I caught my breath and fought off the mini headache that had formed. Kit and Toshi both made it through, it seems that Kit was being brainwashed by Shinso, but I know he wouldn't do it without her permission.

"What place did you get Mido?" He asked coming to me. He must have released his control on the students he used to help him because they all looked around confusedly, except for Kit who looked around once and then at the board and smiled.

"Looks like we made it to the second round." She commented.

"I got first place." I told Toshi.

"Good luck then." He told me. I wonder why he would say that. I looked over to Kit, but she had moved onto some class 1B students who had made it to the second round as well.

Midnight, who was hosting the competition, announced that she would spin a wheel that would pick the next challenge. It landed on a team battle thing, everyone would form a group of four, and the top whatever number of groups with the most points would get to the next round.

Everyone got points based off of their spot in the first round, whoever had the most points in a group would wear a headband that others would try to steal. I looked at the board to see how many points I had and omg- 

Does that say 1,000?!

And suddenly, I looked around only to see, I had become everyone's target in only 2.5 seconds.

This is going to be a challenge.
