Silent Communication

Hehe, chapter two of the rewrite! Also, the introductions and stuff will be incredibly different than they are in the original.

(Shinso's POV)

I walked through the halls, everyone was either inching away from me or just halting their conversations once I got within at least ten feet of them. They've all done this for years. It started when I got my quirk.

My quirk is called Brainwash, I can basically control people to a certain extent after they verbally reply to me, so nobody talks to me. I also get shunned for the fact my quirk is 'villainous,' except for one person, who doesn't need to talk to communicate. My one friend.

Kit Yasuko. I have known her for a few years now actually, even if we do go to different schools. Her quirk is also considered villainous because her quirk is called Thoughts. She can hear the thoughts of people within twenty feet of her or something,I forget the exact radius. She can also transmit her own thoughts to others.

Hence the silent communication.

She's cool, even if she doesn't talk a lot, to anyone really. She can talk and stuff, but she only talks away from others, unless she has to talk. She isn't a people person either, she avoids attention and things like that if possible, so you could say I was surprised when she told me about her day once I got outside.

'You got out here quickly.' I thought.

'No, you just took your time.' She responded with her quirk.

'So, how was your day?' I asked in thought.

'I met someone today, Izuku Midoriya. He seems like a shy timid boy who gets bullied, but from what I have seen in his thoughts he's a lot more than that. It's almost like he has a dark side, heck, he plotted his way to skip class with permission, and he succeeded.' She told me.

'Hmmm, for one, I am glad you met someone new for once. For two, do you think he could possibly?..' I started to ask in thought.

'Yes, yes I do.' She responded.

'Whats his quirk?' I asked.

'He doesn't have one.'

'Then he seems like a perfect candidate.' I thought happily.

'We shouldn't ask him about it yet, he doesn't have the proper motivation. Just because he's quirkless doesn't mean he is as willing as us. I'll confront him when the time is right.' She replied to me with her quirk.

I sighed. She is right, I know absolutely nothing about this person other than his name,he has a 'dark side' in Yasu's words, and that he doesn't have a quirk. He might want to become a hero or something, meaning he would never help us.

'If only more people saw things the way we do. In our eyes we aren't the villain, they are. But to everyone else, we are possible threats. You know, I have been thinking about the different between a villain and an antagonist, and how perspectives play a role.' She thought to me.

'Aren't villains and antagonists the same thing?..' I thought confusedly.

'No they aren't. Villains are generally people wanting to hurt others, or have a certain goal that is considered evil, and they do that with evil intent. Antagonists are anyone who opposes a protagonist. We're antagonists, we will do things that oppose the protagonists, heroes, with good intent. Perspective also plays a role, in our eyes were protagonists, but in their's, we're villains. The world isn't all black and white, there are so many shades of grey, and depending on your perspective the spectrum will be different.' Yasu explained. I was kind of confused to be honest, she is much more of a deep thinker than I am.

'I think you have a point.' I thought in reply. I honestly had no idea if I agreed with her or what, I couldn't keep up.

'Don't ever change Hito.'

'I won't, I promise.' I thought with a smile.

That is a promise I know I can keep, no matter what.
