A New Villain?
Coming up with good chapter titles is hard T-T.

(Inko's POV)
"Hi Izu! Welcome home." I greeted my son as he walked through the door. He looked lost in thought.
"Huh? Oh, hi mom!" He replied after registering what I had said.
"What's on your mind?" I asked, curious. To be completely honest, my son was one of the deepest thinkers I have ever known, other than his father of course, be he hasn't come home in years..
"Well, I met someone new at school, and I was reading an article about a never before seen villain that debuted last night." He told me. I a, glad he met someone new, but a new villain just means more fights between them and heroes.
"I'm glad you met someone new. What were they like? Do you know their name?" I asked him.
"Her name is Kit Yasuko, she helped me today actually. We ate lunch together, and she isn't much of a people-person. Then when I got a stomach ache during my last class, the teacher didn't believe me, so she backed me up. I thought she said 'You're welcome,' but I think it was just my imagination.." He explained. This Yasuko seems like a good person, hopefully Izu can spend some time with her.
"Why'd you get a stomach ache?" I asked, I was worried about my son after all.
"Oh, I didn't eat that much, I was busy er.. talking to Yasuko. I also fell on my pencil in the hallway, so that's why it's bandaged up." He said. i couldn't help but feel like he made it up, but I didn't want to seem intrusive.
"Ok, well we are going to be having salad for dinner tonight. I know, boring, but I have a few exciting dinners planned in the future, like homemade katsudon and maybe even dumplings." I told him while walking into the kitchen.
"Ok, that sounds good. I'm going to go into my room." He told me before running off to his room, or his cave as I like to call it.
My phone 'pinged' and I looked at it to see I had gotten an email from my boss, i wonder what's that about.
'Inko Midoriya,
Due to a recent villain attack from the newest villain 'Mind Trick,' the office will be closed tomorrow. Apparently they stole some files from your department and we do not want to put the safety of our employees at risk in case the villain returns.
Thank you for understanding.
-[Creative work boss name]'
That must be the new villain Izu was reading about..
If they stole files from my department then that means they stole files with information about registered quirks, and who knows what they could be doing with that information. Since it's a new villain nobody, not even heroes, know anything about them. I see why my boss is taking such precautionary measures.
Welp, I better get started on dinner now.
(Shinso's POV)
"You actually did it?" I asked Yasu once we got in her house. Her father works abroad and her mother, well she has never told me about her mom.
"Yeah, it wasn't too difficult either, just had to find the right department." She replied. We were looking over the quirk registration files she had recovered.
"Now we don't only know about the quirks of some pro heroes, but also the quirks of other villains." I said.
"Tell me, do you think this is more useful, or would a sheet of all the popular pro heroes quirks be better?" She asked, not looking up from the files.
"Well, wouldn't it be better to have a list of the top pro hero's quirks?" I asked in response.
"No actually. With our course of action they'll send underground heroes after us, and these lists are more likely to have underground heroes' quirks on it. Plus, the top pro heroes' quirks are more well known already, so a list of their quirks would be close to useless." Yasu explained. I am so glad that she is smart, or else Mind Trick wouldn't even exist.
"You have a point, hehe. Am I staying here tonight?" I asked her.
"Sure, you're parents suck anyway." She replied.
"They don't suck that much-"
"They think your quirk is villainous and barely even consider you their son, they're absolute trash bags." Yasu said cutting me off.
"True. What are we eating for dinner then?" I said, I was actually pretty hungry, it was already 6pm.
"Packaged ramen?" She asked.
"Sure, why not, that's quick and simple." I said agreeing with her dinner choice.
"Hmmm, well since I got the files yesterday, I say you should make the ramen." Yasu said with a smirk.
"Ugh, fine. But you have to work on making a second helmet for Mind Trick, especially if you want me to actually get out there and do stuff. The only reason we didn't go together last night was because I don't have the helmet." I told her.
"I know, I know. Those helmets are hard to make though, and installing voice changers might just be the hardest part." She replied.
"Well, good thing you know about stuff like that then." I said, then I walked into her kitchen to look for some ramen.
'I'll be in the workshop if you need me.' She said using her quirk.
Heh, when she says the workshop she just means the spare bedroom. I sleep on the couch when I stay over because she completely transformed the spare bedroom. It has hard floors, a table, a few toolboxes, and different building materials.
Classic Yasu.
(Izuku Midoriya's POV)
I was reading up on the new villain again. Why? I found out they stole from my mom's work, luckily she wasn't there when it happened, but it was cutting it close. They apparently stole some quirk registration files, which aren't too valuable, but the hero agency will want that soon so they can have low level villains' quirk information.
So, with all that said, I am more confused on how this villain found its way into am article. No heroes came to apprehend them, so the article wasn't created to put the hero in the spotlight. So why are they getting their own article?-
'The new villain Mind Trick got in and out of the building without any witnesses. No information is known about this criminal.'
Oh.
That's why.
How did they get in and out without any witnesses? That's practically impossible, the building has security, employees, and cameras throughout. That would explain why no heroes came though..
Also, if there isn't anything known about this new villain, then why are people calling them Mind Trick?
'Employees and security staff that were present in the building at the time of the robbery report feeling like their minds were playing tricks on them. This led officials to dub this villain Mind Trick. Pro hero Best Jeanist stated; "This villain isn't some low level criminal, we shouldn't underestimate them."'
That's it. The article just ended there. If Best Jeanist, one of the top five pro heroes is talking that highly of Mind Trick, then it must be serious.
Maybe I will see them in action one of these days, maybe I could even write about them in my book, wait, what if I made a villain analysis book?
Yeah, that's what I will do.

Hi! I really enjoyed writing this chapter, and I hope you enjoy reading it! It also is the same day as the last chapter by the way. This story will be much more drawn out then the original, lol.
