Have Hope

"No.. Nick please don't..."

Nick opened his eyes to see Judy squirming in her hospital bed. She slightly shook her and woke her up. "Judy it's okay.. I'm right here." He said, holding her paws.

"Nick.. I don't want to go back there.." She said softly.

Nick leaned in and kissed Judy on her lips. "Don't worry. I'll never leave." Judy closed her eyes as his words sung her back to sleep.

Judy slept for another two hours before waking up with the same nightmare.

"Judy! It's okay I'm here!" Nick whispered, as Judy kept screaming. He watched as the rich crimson blood ran down her nose.

"Judy.. your nose.." He said under his breath, trying not to worry her.

Judy wiped her nose with her paw and looked at Nick. "Don't tell anyone. Not yet. We need to find out who C is." She said determined.

When Judy mentioned C she remembered her back from the other day. "Nick where is my bag?"

Nick stared in confusion and reached behind him. "Here. Why could you possibly need this right now?"

Judy fiercely searched through her bag. "No! It's not here!" She yelled in distraught.

Judy pulled her phone from her bag and unlocked it.

"Thanks for my diary back. Thankfully you didn't see the next page!"

C

Judy's face boiled as she read the text. "I found a diary that was from C. They stole it back from me, and now we're back to square one."

Nick thought of words to cheer her up with. "Well, at least we aren't at square one anymore." He slightly corresed her cheek, causing her to blush. "Your eyes are beautiful, have I ever told you that?"

Judy giggled at his comment. "No I don-"

"But your ass is even be-"

"Nick!"

Nick turned around to see Bonnie behind him. "I'm so sorry Bonnie.. it was a joke."

Bonnie laughed seeing how cute they were as a couple. "It's okay Nick. I know you love her." She smiled. "Can you give us some time alone?" Bonnie asked.

Nick looked back at Bonnie and laughed. "Of course! You're her mother, and haven't seen her for awhile." Nick looked back at Judy and smiled. He leaned down to her bed and looked into her mystical purple eyes. "I love you Carrots." He said, kissing her lips.

Judy placed her paw on Nick's and rubbed it. "I love you too. Come back later after you've actually slept some." Judy waved as Nick left the room.

Bonnie sat next to Judy and rubbed her head. "I'm so sorry Judy for leaving you. You know why, but I'm back now."

Judy was reminded of everything that happened to her before she woke up, she remembered seeing her dad threaten to kill her. "It's okay mom." Judy smiled. "But how did you get out? And how did you get here?" Judy asked.

"Well, when I was in the 'hospital' I couldn't really do anything but think. I thought about you every single day, and wish I could of been there for you. I remembered the problem your father had with the tumor, and we knew you would probably have it. Your father started drinking because-" She cut herself off as she sniffled. "Because of the tumor Judy. We couldn't get the help like you did. I broke out of the mental hospital after remembering you most likely inherented it. One of the workers there helped me. She gave me her key card, and clothes so I could walk out of there. I was in my way to your grandparents house when I saw my little grey bunny holding her head on the ground." Bonnie wiped away her tears, and hugged her daughter.

"Wow.. You did all of that for me" Judy asked not knowing what to say.

"Of course I did sweetheart." She laughed.

Judy looked at her mother and pulled her back into the hug. She whispered "So when can I leave? I'm tired of the lights flashing on this floor. It looks like we're in a haunted hospital, plus it smells like death in here." Judy said in a jokingly tone.

Bonnie sniffed the room and laughed. "Yeah. It really does smell like death." She joked. "I'll go ask them when you're allowed to leave." Bonnie said, leaving them room.

Judy looked at her phone and grabbed it, remembering where they found Ben. Judy took the needle out of her arm and checked everywhere for some clothes. She noticed a fresh set sitting on a chair in the far corner, and she quickly changed. Judy walked to her door, and peeked outside, seeing if there was anyone near. She saw two doctors coming her way and she quickly moved her head back inside the room. 'Please don't come in here' Judy thought. Judy peeked her head back around the wall and didn't see the doctors. She slowly snuck out of door and ran to the elevator. She pressed the button 20 times, while saying 'Come on' over and over. When the elevator opened, Judy saw Anya in it. She quickly placed her paw over her mouth as she stepped inside. "Don't say a word." Judy said, clicking the button for ground floor. She slowly removed her paw from Anya's mouth and looked at her. "What are you doing here?"

Anya looked at Judy with her paws on her hips. "I should be asking YOU why you're leaving. This is a serious situation Judy." She worried for Judy. She knew that Judy wanted to find out who C was, but she was going to work herself to death from it.

"I'll be fine Anya!" Judy screamed, looking at the scared vixen. "Just.. I'll be fine I swear." Judy said calmly as the elevator opened. She slowly crept out the doors and tried to fit in with another crowd. Keeping her head down next to Anya, she reached the front doors and quickly opened them. Judy took a deep breath and didn't let it out for a minute. "Finally some fresh air." She mumbled. "Come on Anya, let's go!"

When they reached the same alley Judy founs the diary in, she could smell the same depression filled air. 'Are we sure Ben wasn't the only one killed here' She thought. As she walked back into the alley, she noticed writing on the walls all spaced apart from each other, which she didn't notice before. She looked at Anya and back at the wall, following the letters. "H... C... L... S... I... E... A... U... Z... J... W... Q... R" As they reached the end of the writing Judy looked back at the walls. "This can't be it! There has to be more!" She yelled.

Anya looked down at the angry bunny and sighed. "It's just writing Judy, there's plenty of graffiti artist who come here." She said in a calming tone.

Judy looked up at Anya and faked a smile. "I guess you're right."

Anya placed her paw on Judy's shoulder and smiled. "Have hope darling. Have hope."

Judy quickly broke her and Anya's awkward moment and sighed. "Let's keep moving." She said, running further into the alley.

"Wait Ju-" She heard Anya yell, but she was too far ahead to hear it all. Judy looks at the narrow walls of the alley. She looked ahead and could see nothing but darkness. She quickly turned around when she heard a bird singing. "It's only a bird Judy. Only a bird." She mumbled. Judy pulled out her phone and turned on the flashlight. She shined it at the floor first before shining it ahead. As Judy kept started to walk, she felt as if the walls were getting closer and closer together. She took a deep breath, and instantly regretted it, seeing how it smelled like an old, body dumping swamp. She covered her mouth and coughed, feeling a wetness above her lip. She wiped it and shined her phone on it. "No, no, no, no!" Judy yelled.

Anya heard Judy's echo come from the darkness and she tried to look further into it. She walked a little closer to where Judy was until she felt something grab her.

Judy heard a faint scream come from behind and knew it was Anya. "Can't go back." She said, shaking her head. "I've come too far, I can't go back."

Judy saw a small, but bright red light blinking ahead. She extended her arm, trying to get her phone closer, until she dropped it. When it fell, the light turned off, indicating it broke. "No!" Judy yelled. She dropped to the ground and moved her hand around trying to find her phone. She felt something soft, almost like fur, or clothes and she tried to grab it. "Stuck." She mumbled. Judy crawled on the ground a little further and felt around. She moved her left paw under something big and heavy, and felt something puncture her hand. Judy screamed in pain as she felt the warm metallic substance running down her paw. She lifted her shirt up, revealing her fur on her stomach. She put the shirt in her mouth with her good paw and pulled hard while crying in pain. When she pulled off enough fabric for her to wrap around her wound, she hissed in pain as she wrapped it around her hand. "I will not.. give up." She said determined. Judy walked closer and closer to the red light. She walked cautiously, not knowing where anything was in front of her. When she saw the light getting closer and closer, noticed something appearing close to her. She approached the object and was about to touch it until she saw a sign.

ELECTRIC FENCE; TURN BACK NOW.

Judy slowly moved her paw away from the fence once she read the sign. She could see the blinking red light just past the fence. "I've got to get past this." She said out loud. Judy paced as she thought of a way to get around the fence.

"That's it!" She yelled, casuing her voice to bounce along the walls.

'If there's a fence here, it requires power! If I can find where it's being powered from, I can shut it down!' She thought.

Judy walked close to the fence and followed it to the wall. When she reached the wall she moved her paw around it cautiously to see if she could find a wire. "Ah-hah!" She yelled. Judy slowly walked along the wall as she followed the wire. The wire led to a door, and she slowly placed her paw on it, praying it wasn't electric. Her paw connected with the door knob, and she turned it. "Oh of course a door in a random alley will be locked!" She said to herself. Judy slowly leaned down, keeping her paw on the knob hoping to find something to hit it with. She vigilantly moved her paw around and found something large. She tried to pick it up, but it was too heavy for one paw. Judy placed her foot on the door so she didn't lose the door, and moved her hurt paw to the rock. She screamed in pain as she lifted the rock to her stomach level, using her knee as support. She then raised the rock and smashed the knob, casuing it to fall on the floor. Judy quickly threw the rock on the floor, opened the door and walked inside. Judy felt her body start to heat up from the exertion of lifting the rock. She placed her paw back on the wire and followed it once more. When the reached the generator, held a paw on her ears, as the generator roared. She then placed her paw on the generator, causing it to vibrate. She slowly started to examine the vibrating generator with her paw, hoping to find something to shut it off. She came across 10 different buttons and switches and she flicked one hoping it would turn off. Nothing. She flipped two more, and received the same results. Nothing. Judy was down to 7 left and she sighed. She flipped three more and let out a cry when she heard the generator still running. "Please let this one work" She thought before flipping one more. Judy heard the roaring machine slowly turn off and she yelled in happiness. She turned around and made her way to the foor, following the wire again. When she reached the fence, she gently placed her paw on it, hoping it still wasn't on somehow. She applied pressure and the fence door opened. "Yes!" She yelled as she ran to the blinking light. When Judy reached the light, she noticed it was a door. She tried to open it without even thinking and heard alarms going off.

INTRUDER: INTRUDER

She heard over and over again. Judy ran inside as the door opened and quickly shut it and locked it. She turned around to see a dim room with 20 computers screens all showing places her and Nick go. She sat down in the chair and looked up at the monitors. 'Is this C's lair?' She questioned herself, as she looked at one particular monitor.

"JUDY HOPPS"

She clicked on it to make it bigger and she saw her exact location. "How is that even possible?!" She said to herself before hearing the door being banged on. She quickly looked around for something to hit the computer with, but couldn't find anything. She balled her paws together and swung at the monitor, causing it to crack. She looked at the door in the dim light and saw the knob turning. Judy quickly moved the chair back where she for it from, and slid under the desk. Judy saw a small shadow forming from the dim light and who she saw mentally and physically hurt her extremely.

"Finnick?"
