Chapter 3

Hello, again. It's me, Max. Your friendly, neighborhood Wattpad author.

The boys and I would just like to take this time to say....

Hello.

That's all.

Carry on.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Well.....This is awkward.

You slowly chewed your food as your eyes darted around the table, scanning over each and every person that sat around you.

The air was thick and tense, filled with unspoken feelings of anger. It was honestly unsettling for this house to be so quiet at this time of night....Usually the neighbors would be complaining about the noise right about now....Whether it was you and Jin laughing like idiots or you and Yoongi screaming at one another...

But now...It was quiet.....Too quiet.

After you had gone back to the kitchen from your little run-in with Yoongi in the upstairs bathroom, Jin was curious about the whereabouts of his brother. You tried to explain to him that he wasn't hungry, silently fearing for Yoongi's life as Jin walked up the staircase anyway.

Jin argued that he "needed to eat" and marched right up those stairs and straight to Yoongi's room....where he found a half naked Jisoo getting dressed angrily.

You were actually surprised by how well Jin had handled the situation, closing the door quietly and walking back down to the dining room...He managed to contain himself. He never yelled or spoke out of turn, he simply sat there.

Jisoo was quick to rush out of his house, probably fearing for her life, which you couldn't blame her for, Jin was scary when mad. She bumped into Hoseok on her way out, leaving the pink-haired man confused as he entered Jin's home.

Yoongi came down the stairs shortly after she left, taking his seat beside Jin who sat across from you while Hoseok sat beside you, still confused about what exactly was going on.

A heavy sigh broke the uncomfortable silence that surrounded everyone, catching your attention.

Yoongi placed his fork down beside his plate, turning himself to look at his older brother.

"Jin.." He started slowly. "I didn't-"

"No." Jin interrupted, taking another bite of food. "We are not discussing this in front of company."

Yoongi frowned.

"But, I-"

Jin turned to look at the mint-haired man, giving him a warning glare.

"I said no." He repeated. "I don't want to hear this right now."

Yoongi's eyes hardened on his older brother, his arms crossing over his chest as he continued to push the matter.

"I don't get why you're so upset." He mumbled out. "It's not a big deal."

You swallowed hard.

Oh boy.

Nice going, Yoongi.

Jin clenched his jaw at Yoongi's words, his hands releasing his own fork, causing it to fall onto the plate with a loud "cling".

"It's not a big deal?" Jin repeated in a sarcastic voice. "I'll have you know that it is a very big deal to me!"

You glanced over at Hoseok, who was now rubbing his temples at the fight that was only a few seconds away from exploding.

Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows in confusion as he stared at the blond-haired man.

"Oh, come on." he scoffed. "You couldn't possibly think that I was a virgin!"

Jin sent him an awe'd look, letting out a small chuckle of disbelief.

"Is that what you think this is about?" He asked.

Yoongi slowly nodded his head in response.

Jin only laughed sarcastically.

"Yoongi, I am not stupid. I know what kind of life you lead, no matter how much you may try to hide it from me." He deadpanned, causing Yoongi's eyes to widen. "I'm not mad about you sleeping around. I don't care about that. However, I do care that you brought that girl into my house!"

The younger brother frowned at Jin's words, instantly becoming defensive at the mention of Jisoo.

"Seriously?!" He exclaimed with widened eyes. " That's what you're mad about?!"

Jin's eyes narrowed dangerously on his younger brother, shooting daggers at him.

"Don't take that tone of voice with me!" He growled. "When you told me that mom and dad kicked you out and that you needed someplace to stay, I said you could crash here, but I also said that I had one rule....I don't want girls like that brought into my house!"

"What's wrong with Jisoo?! It's not like she's a stranger! You've met her before!"

The blond man huffed, rolling his eyes as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"She's a thot." He deadpanned. "And she's a bully. Two things I will not tolerate!"

"I don't need you to tolerate her! You're not the boss of me!" Yoongi retaliated. "You're not even my real family!"

Jin's eyes widened at that, his body moving forward angrily.

"Not real family?" He scoffed. "Who was at every single one of your basketball games?! Who picked you up from school every single day!? Who cleaned your cuts when those kids bullied you!? Who paid for your hospital bill when you overdosed a year ago!?"

"You had to do that!" Yoongi popped. "Mom and Dad couldn't afford it!"

"I didn't have to do anything!" Jin growled. "I did it because you're my brother and I love you! You almost died, Yoongi! If I hadn't found you that night-God, Yoongi!"

Jin took a few deep breaths, pulling at his hair in frustration as he glared at his brother.

"You were so much better before her." Jin started slowly. "Honors student, basketball captain, you had a bright future...and then she came along and you lost all of that..You barely even graduated high school...She put that needle in your arm. She almost killed you-She almost killed my family....So yes. I get angry when you bring that girl into this house."

Yoongi stared at him for a moment before opening his mouth to speak.

"You're not my father. So stop acting like you care."

"Okay!" You interrupted, raising from your seat as you attempted to lighten the mood up. "I think we should all just take a second and calm down. There's no need to get so angry over-"

"You stay out of this!" Yoongi popped. "This is all your fault anyway!"

Jin stood up, towering over the younger.

"Don't talk to her like that." He growled.

"My fault?!" You asked, your anger beginning to get the best of you as you glared at the mint-haired man. "How is any of this remotely my fault?!"

You watched as he shrugged his shoulders, taking a sip of the red wine that sat before him.

"Please," He scoffed. "Like you don't already know."

Your eyebrows jumped at that, your mind preparing itself for the battle that was certain to come.

Y/n vs Yoongi.

Battle of the century.

"You're acting like an idiot." You spat.

He chuckled darkly, raising a single eyebrow.

"That's funny considering that you're literally the densest person in this room."

Alright. That's it. Screw being nice.

"What is your problem!?" You yelled angrily. "First you're apologizing to me for screwing around with Jisoo and now you're calling me stupid?! Make up your mind, Min Yoongi!"

"I already did!" He roared, slamming his hands down on the table as he stood up swiftly. "I made up my mind the first day I laid eyes on you!"

Your brows furrowed at that, body freezing momentarily as you struggled to understand what exactly he was trying to say to you.

"I don't-" You sighed.

"If anyone needs to make up their mind, it's you!" He stated. "You say you hate me, but you're here all the time! You're always around me, even if you don't mean to be, you are! And it's driving me crazy! You are driving me crazy!

You bit your lip.

"I-I  don't understand."

Yoongi's shoulders slumped, his eyes widening slightly as he stared at you, dumbstruck.

"You know, Y/n," He started lowly. "This act is getting old."

You rubbed your temples, trying to keep yourself calm.

"What are you even talking about right now?" You asked exasperatedly. "There is no act, Yoongi. I genuinely have no idea about whatever insane thoughts are running through your head right now."

"Oh I'm insane?" He scoffed. "You're the one who can never seem to take a hint. You've got your head in the clouds like some kid! You're completely oblivious to the people around you!"

"I-"

"And what's worse is that you don't even care! You like being oblivious, because it means that you don't have to deal with anything! It means that you don't have to deal with the fact that I-"

"Enough!" Hoseok boomed, also standing to his feet as he sent disapproving looks to both you and Yoongi. "You're both acting like kids."

You huffed, eyes falling to the floor as you tried to avoid Yoongi's gaze that bore right through you, his hazel eyes never leaving your body.

Seokjin rubbed his face exasperatedly as he watched you, his blond hair falling over his eyes.

"This is why we don't fight in front of guest." He mumbled out, directing a stern look to his younger brother.

Yoongi showed no response, eyes never leaving you.

You squirmed under his intense gaze, feeling uncomfortable all of a sudden.

"You know what?" Yoongi started with a dark chuckle. "I wish I didn't have to be here anymore.I wish I could just leave this stupid town!"

Hoseok opened his mouth to say something. but he was interrupted.

A low, rumbling sound filled your ears, before the house began to shake around you. Pictures falling off of the walls and shattering along with numerous dishes and appliances.

Your eyes were wide as you all began to run for cover.

Was this an earthquake?

A gasp left your lips as the chandelier about the dining table came crashing down, breaking it into pieces. The house was slowly beginning to crumble all around you, loud noises and crashes were the only things any of you could hear as you ran towards the nearest safe place, hands covering your heads.

Your stomach began to churn in fear and anxiety as you hid your face in Jin's chest, sighing as he placed a kiss to the top of your head.

The scent of honey and cinnamon were the last things you remember before you completely blacked out....

What none of you could have known was that Yoongi's seemingly insignificant wish.....

had opened the door to a whole new world.

A/N,

Now the fun begins.

Another update on my personal life: I'm still hungry.

-Max
