You ran a hand through your hair as you sighed heavily, eyes weary and tired as you stared at the floor beneath your feet.

Your mind was alive with numerous thoughts and questions. Questions about this place. Questions about the people and questions about...well anything you could think of.

Your parents always used to scold you for being so inquisitive...telling you that it was "bad manners to be nosy"...but you always ignored them...Since they wouldn't answer your questions, you'd find the answers yourself...

And you did.

You found the answers within the most beautiful thing in the world...

Reading.

You've always been a bookworm, even when you were little...all you wanted was to read..whether it was about romance or action..you were constantly shoving you nose into a book.

That's why you became a librarian...not only could you get paid to tell people to shut up, you could also read for free.

It was a win-win.

Although many questions swam around in your mind..one particular question was sticking out to you.

Why didn't you eat when you had the chance?

The loud sound of your stomach grumbling once again filled your bedroom, causing you to groan in annoyance and roll over onto your empty belly.

God, you were starving!

You certainly didn't regret your decision on not eating with Jimin, you stood by that decision firmly. After the way he treated you tonight, he'd be lucky if you even shared a protein bar with him...which was highly unlikely anyway since you didn't share food.

But, you certainly wished that you ha eaten more before leaving your world...but of course, you were too caught up in Yoongi and Jin's drama to stuff your face.

Sad times.

"You look glum, Keeper."

You squeaked in surprise at the new voice that was suddenly beside you, your body rolling off the bed and landing onto the floor.

Taehyung peeked his head over the side of the bed, his brows furrowed as he watched your groan in pain, your hand rubbing your head.

"Why are you on the floor?" He asked.

You sent him a hard look before proceeding to stand up straight.

"It looked lonely, so I was giving it a hug." You stated sarcastically.

Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows, glancing between you and the floor for a few moments.

"And they call me mad." He mumbled under his breath.

You sighed, wiping off imaginary dust from your clothing.

"Why are you here?" You asked. "Shouldn't you be calming Jimin down?"

The orange-haired man shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, resting his head on his elbow.

"Nope." He popped. "Chim can take care of himself."

You nodded slowly, crossing your arms over your chest as you glanced around.

"He seemed pretty mad." You muttered.

The man hatter raised a brow at your soft tone.

"He was." He deadpanned. "But that didn't give him a reason to yell at you like that."

You hummed in acknowledgement.

"I suppose."

Taehyung eyed you for a few moment before speaking again, his body sitting up straight.

"I brought you something."

You frowned in confusion.

"Really?" You asked.

He nodded his head happily, standing to his feet, a large smile presenting itself on his face.

"Of course!" He exclaimed happily, placing his hands on your shoulders. "After all, you're my favorite Keeper."

Your smile instantly fell at his words, stomach dropping to your feet.

So that's why he's being so nice to you.

"Taehyung.." You sighed. "I'm not who you think I am..I'm not The Keeper."

He shook his head, his smile never faltering.

"My dear," He hummed. "You are more than you believe yourself to be. You are a wonderful mystery, a beautiful enigma and when you begin to speak the whole world goes quiet at the sound of your voice."

You stared at him with wide eyes.

This guy...was weird...but a good weird. A very good weird.

"B-But I don't have anything special about me." You reasoned. "This whole world runs on magic...and nothing about me is magical."

He chuckled, his finger booping your nose cutely.

"Ah, you see, darling...That is where you are mistaken."

He smiled widely, pulling you over to sit beside him on the edge of the bed.

"You see yourself as one thing,"

He began, before extending his hand out to you, showing you a small caterpillar that crawled along the palm of his hand.

Once again: Where did he get that thing?!

"While I.."

He paused, closing his hands together for a brief moment, concealing the small caterpillar within his grasp.

"..see you as something far more beautiful." He continued.

You gasped as he slowly opened his hand, revealing a beautiful, blue butterfly. It took off from his palm, flying around you for a few brief moments.

You knew it was impossible, but you could have sworn that the small insect left a trail of golden sparkle behind it wherever it flew.

You gaped at him, watching as the butterfly flew out of your open window.

"H-How did you-" You cut yourself off, running a hand through your hair. "Have I gone crazy?!"

Taehyung smiled at you, grabbing your hand.

"I'm afraid so," He started. "You're entirely bonkers."

He leaned forward, before continuing.

"But, I'll tell you a secret," He hummed. "All the best people are."

He sent you a sly wink, placing a kiss on your knuckles.

You blinked numerous times, a blush raising to your cheeks as you stared at him.

Taehyung raised to his feet suddenly, a gasp escaping his lips as he stared at you.

You tilted your head in confusion at his actions.

"Are you okay-"

"I almost forgot!" He interrupted with wide eyes. "I brought you something!"

You couldn't help but chuckle as he dug around in the pocket of his pants, cursing to himself when he didn't find what he was looking for.

After a few moments of searching, his raised his finger to his chin, tapping it lightly.

"Now, where did I put it?" He asked himself softly, glancing around the room.

You smiled at his silliness, all your previous feelings of discomfort melting away from you.

The man in front of you was a bit cheeky and weird, but he was cute and definitely funny...You could get used to being around him.

"Oh!" He exclaimed, snapping his fingers. "I remember!"

You laughed from where you sat, catching his attention.

Taehyung sent you a large smile before walking to you, his hands grabbing yours as he helped you to stand up.

"You have to cover your eyes." He said cheekily, walking you to the middle of your large bedroom.

You frowned, tilting your head.

"My eyes?" You repeated. "Why?"

He clicked his tongue.

"Because it wouldn't be much of a surprise if you saw it coming, now would it?"

You chuckled, shaking your head.

"I suppose not."

"Good." He beamed. "Now just close your eyes and I'll tell you when to open them."

You nodded in understanding, squeezing your eyes shut and covering them with your hands.

"Alright."

Numerous sounds began to fill your ears as you waited patiently. Sounds of dishes clanking and feet shuffling were all you could make out as Taehyung proceed to do....whatever it was that he was doing.

Your brows furrowed as he began to mumble words of encouragement to himself as he worked.

You were beginning to grow anxious and curious as you listened to the sound around you. the urge to open your eyes was almost unbearable, but you were determined to keep your word...after all, you didn't want to ruin Taehyung's "big surprise".

He acted like an excited child, making sure that you didn't take a peek at his beautiful surprise he had planned out for you and the thought alone made you smile.

Taehyung was easily the nicest one here.

He was funny, easy to get along with and someone you could see yourself getting close to. Unlike everyone else in this world, he was approachable and not at all intimidating...he was a goof ball, but in a cute way.

"Are you ready?" He asked breathlessly.

You nodded your head.

"As I'll ever be."

Taehyung smiled at your response, placing his hands over yours, giving his work one last glance before speaking.

"Open."

You moved your hands away from your face, eager to see what he had done.

You gasped, a large smile forming on your face as you took in the sight before you.

A large table was set in the middle of your room. Numerous cakes and baked goods were placed onto each plate delicately. Different types of teapots littered the table as well as two taecups-teacups, that you assumed were for the both of you.

There was color everywhere.

He had tied balloons to the back of your chairs, adding even more wonder to the already amazing display.

You were seriously beginning to question your sanity.

Where did all of this stuff come from?

"I knew you were probably hungry after not having dinner."

Taehyung spoke from behind you, his breath fanning over your neck.

You nodded, eyeing the food hungrily.

"You did this for me?" You asked.

The hatter chuckled, placing his hands on your shoulders.

"Sure did." He confirmed.

"Where did you even get all of this stuff?"

He smiled, shrugging his shoulders.

"Here and there."

You chuckled in astonistment, running a hand through your hair.

"Now, I know I'm crazy."

Taehyung laughed, pulling out your chair, and motioning for you to take a seat.

"Don't worry darling," He purred.

You sat down in the chair and Taehyung grabbed your hand, placing another kiss to your knuckles as he continued.

"We're all mad here."
