Hey my little pumpkins! How y'all doing? Hope y'all doing fine.

Anyway, I know it's been a month, roughly, since I last gave y'all a chapter and a lot has happened since then. My exams which made me cry most nights, my 'issues', the sudden death of a close friend. It's all too much, especially the death of my friend. She's technically my younger sister's friend but she was a beautiful girl, both inside and out. When I had no one to talk to, she'd always try and start a conversation with me. She always had a smile on her face and she was just an amazing person. Even though she's 5 years younger, she's awesome to be around.

I know I usually give shout outs to the first 5 voters but I lost the names and I'm sorry. So anyway, I'd like to dedicate this Chapter to 4evrGay because I simply loved Beautiful Colors and My dream come true...I'm a werewolf's Mate! and lastly Catching Dimitri. I can't wait for A reptile kind of Guy to be completed. I love Vince and Zetzu...okay I love Zetzu! don't judge. He sounds HOT

So before I freak ya'all with my weird talk, here's the chapter

Chapter 10

Each member of my team glared at the man who just entered the room with a wide smile. His smile faltered before he frowned in confusion.

"Did I miss something?" He asked, looking at his son for some sort of explanation but like his father, Matthew was confused with the sudden mood change of my team members

"Matthias, is it?" Gabe asked, standing up from his seat

Matthias nodded and smiled at Gabe who gave one in return, only his was forced and had a hint of malice. He walked up to the man and extended his hand for a handshake. Matthias, the idiot, took it and shook it and winced almost immediately when Gabriel squeezed it...hard. I heard a crack and I knew a few bones in his hand broke but being the old Alpha of this pack; he didn't make a sound and took it like a warrior. I almost laughed at his pain but that didn't stop Jake and Simon from smiling and Becky from smirking

"My name is Gabriel Shaw but I'd prefer if everyone in this pack address me as Shaw and only Shaw. My team includes Simon Jenkins, the ginger. Like you, he's a werewolf but an honourable one. Rebekah Powell, my second team member, she's a very powerful witch. With them are their mates; Daniel Rodgers, the black haired hybrid and Jacob Palmer"

Gabe let go of his hand and I smirked when I saw it swelling a little. Good man

"He's human" Matthias frowned, looking at Jacob

"Gee, thanks Sherlock. We didn't even notice" Rebekah snorted

Matthias glared at Rebekah and she glared right back, releasing a small surge of power making Matthias divert his eyes and subconsciously tilt his head a bit, submitting to the powerful witch

"He's a hunter" Gabe acknowledged Jake's occupation making Mathew and Matthias tense

Before either one of them could utter a word against Becky's mate, Gabe spoke up

"And the man in the mask is our keeper, Onyx" He continued with the introduction

Matthias' eyes widen before it snapped towards me in awe. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at him. He rushed towards me and went to take my hand but I let out a low growl in warning. He moved back but still stared at me in admiration

"I've heard so much about you. You are an incredible wolf"

If only you knew who I really am

"Father, I have something to tell you. It concerns the heir to our pack" Matthew spoke up, stealing his father's attention. I sighed in relief. If he kept looking at me like that, I was going to kill the son of a gun

"Not in front of the guests, son, we'll talk during dinner tonight with your mother"

Matthew smiled and shook his head and looked over at Samson with pride. My heart swell at the look my son was getting. I wanted to cry in joy but I held it in and settled with a smile

"Dad, meet my son, your grandson, Samson Zacchaeus Scott"

For the second time since I saw him, his eyes widen before turning to look at my son. I'm surprised he didn't get whiplashed with how fast he turned his head. Confusion swam in his eyes and danced on his face.

"My mate gave me a son" Matthew said with a proud smirk

I didn't know it was possible to widen your eyes like that but Matthias proved that eyes can be as wide as saucers. It's quite comical actually

"Grandson" He whispered, walking slowly towards Samson with a small smile

Samson's eyes narrowed in anger as he glared up at the old Alpha. He stood up and put his hand out in front of him; palm facing out. Anger rolled of the young boy in waves making Jake, Neil, Becky and Simi to lower their heads. Gabe stood up straighter and looked about ready to fight if the need arises. I discreetly moved closer to my son and let my wolf out a bit to calm my little man down but it wasn't working

"Don't come any closer; I have a witch on my side that is willing to strike you down with lightening if you touch me. I am NOT your grandson nor will I ever be your grandson. I already have a grandfather and I'm happy with him. I don't need an asshole like you in my life. You hurt my mother so bad that he almost lost me and he's the only thing stopping me from ripping your throat out" He said in a low and threatening voice

Both father and son stared at Samson in shock before Matthew turned to look at Matthias in anger

"You hurt my mate? Is that why he ran away to another wolf for comfort?" He growled in pure anger

I blinked in confusion. What is going on here? He thought I ran away to be with someone else? How stupid can one get? Every day I was with him, I devoted my time and life to make him happy and he thinks I ran to another wolf?

I saw Gabe stand off to the side, waiting to intervene if things get out of hand.

Keeper

I shook my head at Simi's voice in the mind link

Let's see what happens. Maybe I can finally get answers

My team nodded and looked at the red faced father and son

"Answer me, father" Matthew growled; his eyes darkening in anger, his teeth elongated into his wolf's form, his nail growing into claws and hair sprouting out of his skin

"That mutt didn't deserve to be Luna. He's a lowly Omega besides Sasha makes a better Luna and she could give you powerful pups"

I could practically hear Matthew snap before he lunged at his father with a mighty roar. The windows in the room shook before it shattered into a million pieces and fell on a floor in a glistening heap. Gabe moved forward and reframed Matthew after my mate ran his claws across Matthias' face, leaving a huge gaping wound

Matthias growled low in his throat and was about to attack his son when he couldn't move his body. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Rebekah's light blue eyes glow bright just as her lips stopped moving. I stood up from my seat and walked in between the chaos

I looked over at Matthias and glared at the man who caused me so much pain in the past.

Take him down to the cells and compel the guards to do their jobs, strictly

Simi nodded and took a hold of Matthias and pulled him roughly to the door with Becky and Jacob close behind them. Benjamin and Naomi stood behind their Alpha in a confused state but you could see their determination to stay with Matthew and get to the bottom of what's going on

As soon as Matthias was gone out the door, Gabe let go of Matthew who crumbled to the floor with tears springing from his eyes. It takes a lot to break an Alpha to tears. It tore at my heart strings to see him so lost and confused

I nodded at Gabe who was looking at me for further instructions. He may be the leader of the group but I'm the heart of the team. If I die, they're doomed. If they die, I can always bring them back with the power of the sacred onyx crystal given to us by the Moon Goddess herself.

"Beta Benjamin and Delta Naomi, do you mind taking a walk with me" It sounded like a request but there was an underlining of a demand that compelled the Beta and Delta to nod their heads and walk out the door, following after Gabe

Now all there was left was Niel, who stayed for protection, and my son, mate and I. Sammy looked torn on what to do, seeing as the only person he's ever comforted was me and even then it was rare because I always hide my negative emotions from him

I walked over to my silently crying mate and kneeled in front of him. Sensing me, he looked up at me and I felt tears welled up in my eyes at his tear stained face. I took off my gloves and brought my hand up to wipe away his tears. He gasped when little zaps of electricity flowed through us, strengthening our mating bond

"Andrew" He whispered

I smiled and pulled my mask off. His light blue eyes widen before he broke down crying, pulling me onto his lap and rested his head in the crook of my neck, inhaling deeply.

"I missed you so much, baby, so much" He sniffled

I nodded and ran my fingers through his hair before pulling his head back and pecking his lips. He immediately latched onto my lips and deepened the kiss while tightening his arms around my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck and moved so I was comfortable on his lap. His tongue ran across my lips asking for entrance but I pulled away before I lost control and mate with him...in front of our son.

How awkwardly weird would that be?

He whined and went to kiss me again making me giggle at his neediness. God I missed this man

"Stop" I giggled and pushed at his chest but not hard enough to actually move him

He smiled and stared into my eyes with a look of love. I blushed when he brushed the back of his fingers across my cheek

"I never stopped loving you" He whispered, leaning down to give me a sweet kiss

"I never stopped loving you too" I mumbled against his lips

"And I love you two too" Samson chirped beside us

Matthew laughed while I chuckled and pulled Sammy into our embrace

"Forever" I mumbled, kissing Sammy's forehead

"And a day" Matthew smiled down at the both of us
