Chapter 1 part 1

—EDITED—

She walked , unbalanced. She had no idea wherever she was, or what she was doing wherever she was, or what was going on. She hadn't lost her memory, because she remembered perfectly who she was and what her life was like.

She was Joe, 18 year old girl living in Boston, Massachusetts. She was having a beautiful life, and she had everything a teenage girl could want.

She even remembered that the last place she had been in was her birthday party. But she hadn't fallen from the sky, or been brought slowly in another dimension, like in movies. She had just ever-so-suddenly found herself in the room where she stood. She had moved from MA to wherever she was in less then she could say middle-of-nowhere.

Was she confused? Not at all. At least she knew she wasn't locked up somewhere, for she had free hands and an open door opposite her. She had always been one of those girls that just go for it. She didn't ask many questions, she would rather just look from her own eyes, from her own point of view, so she started analyzing every single thing in the room.

Directly  in front of her was an open door. It was a dark grey color, almost black. She noticed from a crevice that the inside was liquid. She was pretty astonished to find out that there was a type of material rare enough for her not to know about. The floor near the door had a footprint close to it. That was pretty reassuring, cause it meant not only that there were humans in that place, but that someone had been in there the last three hours. She then noticed that except for the door the room was extremely plain. There was nothing in it.

Joe guessed that the material of the wall was the same as the one of the door, because it sure looked similar, But there was nothing else to analyze. That room had nothing but her in it.
Joe could always find something to analyze, but this room looked so ordinary that she just couldn't find any small crack or any small mistake in the making of the room.

She chose to start walking out of that place to see what she could find. When she made the first step, it made a creaking noise. That's when she noticed why she couldn't understand what was going on. There was no sound in that room. Absolutely none. It was a chamber of complete silence. Except that in articles they said that silence makes you mad, but this silence was a satisfying one. That meant it wasn't actually silent. Maybe the sound was blocked by something. Like a metallic force acting against sound. All of that sounded so ridiculous, but it was the best thing she could think of.

She walked out of the room, taking caution on every step of the way. As she escorted her foot out of the chamber  and on the floor, a red light started flashing, and a beeping sound started roaring in Joe's ears so loudly that she fell on the floor and covered them with as much strength as she could. She felt someone holding her and a man screaming in vague sounds. She closed her eyes to the fear of seeing what was going on. And she just stayed there. She disappeared from the world. She just fell in another deep bubble of silence.
