June's P.O.V.

I was waiting for the fall but it never came, then I slowly opened my eyes to look at the person who prevented me from falling on the floor....

When I opened my eyes I saw him, he was handsome, beautiful, like some Greek God.... His eyes were green? No maybe violet or is it red,? they are very now black pure black? Oh dear? His eyes color is changing & that means only one thing..... I need to change my glasses? Yeah right.... His jaw was clenched, and his whole demeanor was screaming his cruelty, how much of jerk he is.... Well everyone is not my Papa, who is best father, husband, friend, son, employer etc.... Never mind I am blabbering again and that to with myself.... He saved me from falling on the floor so I should say thank you to him with that thought in my mind I was about to open my mouth when he suddenly left my waist and I fell on the ground with a thud...

"Ouch!!" left from my mouth....

Well he is a total jerk, he made my point clear....

"Hey you Mr. What is wrong with you? Are you out of your mind? Why did you let me go? If you wanted me to fall then why did you saved me in the first place?"

I was shouting well okay I was trying, he was standing there like a statue of liberty... Is he deaf?

I'm not sure if he is deaf or not but I'm sure his companions are NOT deaf... They all were giving me murderous look, like they are ready to hunt me & feed their pets?

I was scared but for your kind information, when I'm scared my mouth and brains are in their own control like they hate me with all in them....

"Is he really deaf? Or just plainly jerk? Don't he have manners? No of course not... I mean look at him, what does he thinks of himself? God? After doing all of this, he is even ignoring me?....." I continued to scold him to get at least a little reaction but luck is not with me....

"What are you doing here?"

I hear from behind me & turned my head to look at the source of voice & it was Chiang....

Before I could say something I heard another voice, well another melodic and angelic & not to forget demonic voice.....

"We met again..... Chiang!!!"

I didn't turn to the voice , I didn't wanted to look at him... I don't know why but I didn't wanted to look at him, maybe I didn't wanted to fall? But where? How?

"June?" Chiang called me pulling me out of thoughts...

"Huh?" I looked at her..

She rushed towards me & sat on her knees to check up on me?

Well if you didn't get the clue, then let me tell you I'm still on the floor, laying on the floor with my upper body up with the support of my elbows.... What? I was busy, in teaching him manners?

"Oh dear!! What are you doing on the floor honey?" Chiang asked me.

"Ummmmm the carpets?"

I didn't wanted to tell her what happened, I was already embarrassed after knowing this that I'm on the floor from last few minutes or more & on all of this I was scolding HIM...... & I'm not the best person in the department of lies so yeah, I was trying very hard to come up with something reasonable....

"Carpets? What about it?" She asked me confused....

"Uh yeah? you know I was checking your carpet, it's lovely, smooth, clear? & yeah I wanted to buy this type of carpet for my living room? So yes where did you get it from?" I asked hopefully to make it like I'm telling the truth ...

"Errrrr I -"

"Liar!!!"

Chiang was interrupted by my darling dear sister May.... She stood there with Mary on her right side & Shilon on her left side. At the moment she reminded me of the mean girls from highschool with her side kicks who bullies new comers or the other students who don't suits in her group or don't follow her highness....

"She is lying Chiang, let me tell you what must have happened here. She must have bumped into the Mr. I-am-the-king-who-rules-on-the-world-and-you-have-to-follow-my-rules-&- orders-or-I'll-kill-you-with-my-eyes, right June?"

She said looking between me & HIM.....

"No actually he saved me first by holding me, then he left me like HE is on fire & I fell here &..."

I closed my eyes shut, when I realized what I just did.....

I opened my one eye & looked at Chiang who was looking at me with wide eyes.....

"Sorry..." I said with a sheepish smile.

Everyone started laughing there & his companion/ bodyguards to snickered except Him & His one friend..... His friend, who looks like his second in command more than his friend glared at the other companions of his & they stopped instantly, I rolled my eyes & looked towards my sister May.....

"Are you sure Ma and Papa didn't brought you from grocery store?" I said glaring at her.....

"Yeah they did, the same store from they brought you" she said showing me her tongue , real mature May......

I was about to say something when His majesty opened his mouth....

"If you have finished your nonsense , we have some personal business to attend Chiang, in private."

With that he & his companions went to the Chiang's office, but the one man, his friend/his second in command stopped near May for a second & then left.... May didn't noticed that because she was looking at Chiang & Mary with confusion and to be honest I was confused too... I mean why were those type of,you know dangerous and all people are doing here? What is there connection with them? & The way he said private,it gave me goosebumps...

"Well looks like we have business to attend, right Mary?" Chiang said looking at her...

"Ye-Yeah, I mean yes right" Mary said smiling to us.

"Umm okay, we have to go too, but it's really nice to meet you all." I said giving them my genuine smile.

"Right, we have to go now only if she gets up from the ground of course."

May said pointing towards me, my eyes widened & I hurriedly get up from the floor.

"Chiang we would love to get our bill if you don't mind."

May said to Chiang to which she shook her head & scolded us about how she thinks of us as her daughters and she won't take a penny from us....with lots of hugging & promises to come again here we got in our car & started for home.....

I didn't know what is it, but I was getting this feeling of something unexpected is going to happen....

While I was driving I felt that someone is watching us from somewhere, I blamed it on my tiredness and kept driving towards home....

"Something is not right...." Suddenly May said breaking me out of my thoughts....

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

But little did I was having the same feeling but didn't wanted to ponder on it without any solid reason..

She just shrugged and I thought this is it while looking at her... Then she suddenly screamed..

"Watch out"

& I instantly looked forward applying the break hard which could have thrown us out of the front glass of the car if it isn't for the life saver seatbelts....

But that doesn't mean May doesn't hit her head on the car's dashboard and I on the steering wheel....

"Owwwww!"

"Ouchhh!"

"June!!"

"May!!!"

"Damn it!!"

"Double damn it!!!"

We both groaned in pain....

Then suddenly realizing that something was in the middle of the road we both turned our heads to look forward, indeed there was something on the road.... But because of the dark outside we couldn't see it clearly...

"Switch on the front headlight's of the car" May whispered..

"Okay?" & then I switched on the headlights of car..

We both gasped ... There stood a wolf? on the road... It was larger than the normal wolf.. It was reddish brown with blood red eyes & the best part is it was looking at us , straight into our eyes, wolf's canines were out & dripping wet from blood ... He was only 100 or something yards away from us...

"J-JJune?" May touched my shoulder lightly...

"Aaaahh" I screamed without thinking...

"Aaaaaaaaa" May started screaming too....

Hearing us screamed the wolf too growled and hearing that I instantly shut my mouth with right hand and I used my left hand to shut May's mouth...

After few moments of staying that way after making sure that May & I won't scream,I removed my hands from mine and May's mouth....

"Why did you screamed?" I hissed at May...

"What? You screamed first..." She said pouting, is it for real?

"Really May? Is it time for your tantrums now?" I asked scowling at her...

" I'm not showing tantrums okay? " she said huffing..

"Yeah right whatever yo-...."

I was cut off by howling and that was enough for us to get out of our bickering & focused on the problem at the hand....the wolf started walking towards us, he was snarling & advancing towards our car and we were frozen in the car.... He started growling loudly and that was a clue for us to get out of our frozen zone....

"Start the car June!" May whispered without taking her eyes off the wolf...

"What? Are you out of your mind? You want me to kill a wolf? I'm not doing it!!" I hissed at her while looking between her and the wolf..

"I'm not out of my mind but the wolf is, I mean look at the wolf, it's huge like a horse, it's eyes are scary. RED eyes damn it, what kind of wolf have red eyes? Something is wrong, definitely wrong, he can kill us in a second, he can smash this car like an ant, can't you see that? & I don't want my baby car to get smashed like that, Come on June!!"
May said looking at the advancing wolf...

I looked at it & then sighed...

"Fine!! But we are not running over it, we will reverse the car and go to the city and then we will go to the home by other root!! & it's our car not Yours, for a doctor you should be a life saver not a killer.... For a doctor you are such a cold hearted....."

I said staring into her eyes...

"Okay!" She said closing her eyes...

& after processing what I said she opened her eyes instantly & glared at me...

"So mean June!!! I'm not telling you to kill him, just maybe little scratches here & there.... & for a lawyer you are such a baby... Even hurting a mosquito pains you & last but not least okay, fine it's our car but it's MY first love, so I don't want you to hurt it, clear?" She asked me with serious eyes...

I gulped & blinked for few seconds before nodding my head...

"Clear!!"

May said & gestured me with her hand to start the car....

I turned to look forward and tried to start the car but it wasn't starting, I tried again but no luck... I took out the key out of ignition and put it again to start the car but it wasn't working...

"May? ummmm we have a problem?". I said looking at her...

She turned her head at me & nodded her head? What? Why the hell she is not shouting?

& then she said something which I wasn't even expecting to hear....

"Yes! Indeed we have a big problem, there is a another wolf!!" She whispered with wide eyes, which made my eyes to widen on their own....

I looked front of us to see there was indeed a wolf, another wolf with red eyes, grey fur but he was different from the first one.... First one was like a any other normal wolf but the second one was huge & he was standing on his hind legs, it was like watching some movie in which they show some large wolf with supernatural powers? But it's real life so it's highly impossible... The wolf was abnormal and rabid, well both wolfs are rabid & they both were just 60 to 70 yards away from us...

"The car is not starting damn it!!" I said....slowly..

On hearing that May turned her head towards me with so much force & speed that I thought, her neck is gonna break but that didn't happened...

"What the bloody damn hell?"

She shouted, on that both wolves growled at us.... But the relief was that they stood there & wasn't walking towards us....

I nodded without taking my eyes off the wolves....

She panicked and started turning the keys and trying to start the car, & to be honest seeing my brave sister panicking made me panic too.... May is brave & very outspoken between the three of us... & she rarely gets panic, she have the sense of feeling danger... If she gets this panicking feeling then something very bad happens... & now was exactly that's what was happening ....

"May? Relax!! We will get out of here, okay?"

I tried to comfort her, encourage her, but inside my condition wasn't any better than her....

"How? How June? Look at them, they are not normal wolves , they are not after some rabbit or deer .... They have crazy glint in their eyes... I don't know but I feel like they are after us. Oh god, what the hell is happening?... We have to do something......"

I hugged her which stopped her ranting.... I slowly rubbed her back...

"Ssshhhh!!! Now look who is ranting"

I chuckled and she give me a short laugh on that....

We stared into each others eyes and I said to her..

"We are together in this & every other times let it be good or worse, okay?"

"Yes!!" She said nodding her head & I was glad, she didn't closed her eyes, which gave me courage... We are each others courage, inspiration, support,.... We have seen good & worst time in our whole life & we have beaten up those worst times together... & this time is no different...

"Now what are we going to do?"

May asked me looking at those wolves...

"Lets try this time together!!" I said & she nodded...

We tried together this time & to our relief the car started but that was to our relief not to the wolves, hearing the cars sound the wolves perked their ears and looked at each other ... Then they turned to us & started walking to us....

I started to reverse the car.... On that the wolves started running...

I was reversing the car when suddenly the grey wolf jumped over the car and landed behind the car I was seeing it clearly in the rear view mirror....

That wolf started pushing our car forward stopping me from reversing it... & the wolf was surely powerful, I couldn't reverse the car anymore... So there was only one option to run over the brown wolf... But there were two chances... I turned towards May I said....

"May we have only two options now....

1) hit the wolf (lightly ofc).....-"

"Seriously June? Lightly?....-"

She interrupted me Which I ofc ignored & continued.....

"& get the hell out of here with scratches on the car and us...

2) hit the wolf (again lightly ofc) & seeing the wolf's size we & the car aren't going to get unscratched out of here...."

I turned to see May with open eyes and mouth looking at me.....

I put my fingers under her chin & pushed her chin up which closed her mouth....

& exactly at that moment the grey wolf hit our car which made us jerked forward & we got alarmed....

"Quick May!!" I hissed....

"Do it!!!" She said looking backwards to the grey wolf...

"Do what? Option 1 or 2?" I asked her looking at the front....

"What is wrong with you? They both are same & there is no another option!"

She gritted her teeth....

"Ummmm right!!" I said sheepishly...

"Wait!!! But what about your first love? I mean......-" I tried to ask her, when she she shouted...

"Oh god damn it!!! He can sacrifice himself for me now do it!!"

"Sssshhh!!! Okay, no need to shout...!"

The wolf was unaware of our plan so, I'm sure it's gonna work in our favour & the wolf was still standing there & the grey wolf was snarling behind the car and with that I put the car in gear and speed up to the wolf ....

Sensing the danger we are going to cause him, the wolf started running towards us with full force, for a second I thought of stopping the car but seeing there red eyes and canine I stopped my thoughts before they get any more kind.......

We were speeding towards it & he was doing the same... There was just a 20-30 feet when I applied the urgent break, because I couldn't hit the wolf no matter how much of rabid it was....

The force of the urgent breaks nearly made us fly out of the front wind shield glass of car but again we were saved by seatbelts.... But we can't say same about our car & the wolf because......

The wolf wasn't anywhere to be seen....

"June?" May asked slowly...

"Huh?" That was only thing I could utter at that moment...

"There is no wolf.... Not even the grey wolf!!" She started looking outside the car through the glasses of the car, I was looking too but the wolves were no where....

Suddenly I caught a sight of something in the rear view mirror of car........

"May?" I called her....

"What?" & with that I pointed my finger towards the rear view mirror & she followed my gesture & looked towards the mirror and gasped.... We both turned in our sit & looked at the brown wolf, lying there on the road, & we didn't know if it is alive or not...

"Oh dear!! I killed him! I whispered.... Afraid of my own words...

Hearing me say that May turned to me....

"What? Are you crazy? You didn't killed him,infact you stopped the car before it could hit him, he didn't control his speed & if anything then he killed himself ummmm kind of he did suicide?" May tried to make me feel better but we both know that I killed him, he died because of the impact of the car & I was the one driving the car....

"No May!! I'm a murderer, I killed him, with this hand, my hand." I said her showing my hands.... I couldn't describe the feeling I was going through...

*Stop it June!! Okay fine if you want to say it that way then tell me why did you do this? You did this to save my life, your life, our lives ..... So it's not a murder, it's self defence, try to understand please!!" May was pleading now for me to understand but my heart wasn't listening.....

I tried to tell her how much wrong is this, how SHE is not understanding but I was stopped by a growl, it wasn't louder like before but it was still growl & that to was coming from the wolf, brown wolf which were lying there on the road.........

May smiled to me and said....

"See it's not dead, it's growling like before,!!"

"But he is injured & we need to help him!" I said with determination.... & started getting out of the car but May held my hand.....

"What the? Damn it June, you are definitely going crazy, I mean look at him... He is a wolf, an animal & that too a rabid, crazy, insane animal, which were going to kill us & you want to help him? What is wrong with you?" May said staring at me like I'm some kind of alien....

"I know May, but it's wrong to let him die there just like that because he tried to kill us. He is injured because of us, do you understand that?............-"
"But.....-" May tried to interrupt me but I didn't let her & continued....

"& like you said he is injured, INJURED, what can he possibly do to us now? In his this condition? We must help him & if you don't want to help him, then fine I'll help him ALONE!" With that I got out of the car.
