Enough
(A/N: I wanna apologize for the lack of updates and for the very long hiatus. Hopefully this makes up for that.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy!)
~Tommy POV~
While I was on a jog, I went through the beautiful city of Reseda, but decided to wear a muscle shirt, just because of the weather.
Before my karate career ended, I thought I looked fit for a 18 year old...
I always resorted to jogging and light workouts after my ACL injury, so it's not that big of a deal with me adjusting my workout routine.
Karate was fun and all considering that I loved the sport and it gave me life, but thanks to the injury, it gave me a new step in life that I can enjoy.
I mean, it's really nice here, California, but to be honest, I wish I was back home in New Jersey with my family. I miss the winters and the summers. They were the best, but I can adapt to the new environment, it's not a problem.
While I was on a jog, listening to some Rolling Stones, I decided to jog by the beach and catch a couple girls over there.
Back in Jersey, I was known as the ladies man, because of how I can talk to them without messing up. I'll flirt with them here and there, but not to where I'm creepy or anything.
So far, no girl would wanna be with me, and that's fine, I can keep looking until one catches my eye.
When it was nighttime, I managed to get home and called mom know that I was here after getting a swig of water in me and a shower.
After shower ing and getting dressed in some jeans and a tank top, I started eating dinner mom left in the fridge after reheating it in the microwave, but then, I heard some commotion going outside.
I went out of the apartment, down the stairs, out the gate, and I saw Danny...
Danny: Damn bike! I hate this bike!
....taking his bike and throwing it against the dumpster!
Tommy: The hell?
Danny: I hate this frigging bike! Stupid bike!
I walked over to Danny he looked pissed off and I had to know what was going on.
Tommy: Danny! Why the hell did you throw your bike away!
Danny: Because I felt like it!
Tommy: Look at me when I'm talking to you, little brother!
I pulled him towards me and I saw this huge GASH on the side of his head, and I was pissed off as well.
Tommy: Where'd you get that, huh?! Is it Cobra Kai!
Danny: What do you wanna hear?
Tommy: The truth!
Danny: No, all you wanna hear is how we gotta put up with the move for mom. You can put up with it, but it sucks for me. I hate this place! I wanna go back home! Why can't we just go back home?!
Tommy: Hey, you think I don't wanna stay here as well? I wanna go back home too, I will admit that, but just tell me what happened or I can't help you.
Danny: I gotta take karate.
Tommy: Did you forget that you took Karate like I did?
Danny: Not at the Y, at a good school.
Tommy: Fighting doesn't solve anything.
Danny: Neither does palm trees.
I laughed a bit, but I know where he's coming from.
Tommy: I know it's not fair, especially when mom took us to Reseda without asking us. How about this, tomorrow after school, you and I, we go around town, and spend some time together as brothers? No TV, no phone, just you and I as we figure this out.
Danny: That won't solve nothing!
Tommy: It's much better than whatever's bothering you. Come on, let's get up to our place, and you tell me who gave that to you.
I took him up to the apartment and I had him talk to me for real, and when I asked him what gave him that gash, after I fixed him up.
Turned out this Cobra Kai assholes pushed him off the side of the road down a hill, taunting him, telling him to go back to Newark with me and mom.
I knew I had to let those guys know that I'm not playing around. If they're bullying my little brother, then I'm ready to stand up to them, for Danny.
It might make things worse, but at least they'll target me and not him.
~The Next Day~
Once we got to school, I saw those Cobra Kai douchebags all around their bikes and they were staring at Danny.
Tommy: Danny, you go on ahead into the school, I gotta do something.
Danny: Alright.
I then started walking towards them as they were confused on what I was doing.
Instead of feeling intimidated, with a smile, I waved at them playfully, and I kicked the leader's bike over, destroying the light because it landed on the concrete!.
Johnny: You knock over my bike, now you're getting detention, you jerk!
Tommy: Bullying my little brother on a daily basis? All of you'd be in the room next to me. What kinda nasty shit did your instructor ask you to do to him?
Johnny: Think you're a tough guy, huh? Just because you're outta karate?
Tommy: You can try to get us to leave all you want, but you'll never break us. And you harassing Danny? That ends right now, or next time it won't be a piece of crap bike I'm kicking over.
Johnny: Are you threatening Cobra Kai?
Tommy: I'm threatening you in particular.
I smirked before walking back...
Tommy: Stay away from him. It's my very last warning.
After that, I walked away, letting these Covra Kai idiots know that if they wanna bully my little brother again, they gotta come find me. I'm willing to get back into karate if the case may be.
I know I'll get into trouble when the school finds out I harassed one of their students, even though Cobra Kai's the ones who started all this, I think I might be left off with a warning and they get detention, or, better yet, suspended.
I finally made my way to the principal's office and when I finally got to him, I had to set the record straight.
Tommy: Hey, Principal, you're gonna need to take care of some students at the school.
Principal: And what are they?
Tommy: If you're familiar with Cobra Kai, some of those guys started harassing my little brother and I had to defend him.
Principal: How long have they been doing this?
Tommy: Ever since the beginning of the school year, when Danny and I moved from Newark, in New Jersey, and they recently moved him off the side of the hill as they rode their bikes and he was riding his own bicycle, mocking him and everything. I'm telling you, these guys are trouble, and they need to be dealt with sooner than later.
Principal: Mr. Larusso, I want to apologize for what they've been doing to your family, and I can promise you that they will never be bothering you again.
Tommy: If you can keep our names out of your mouth as you give them detention or whatever, I'd appreciate that. I just don't want them to know that it was me who told you about this.
Principal: I can promise you, they will be dealt with.
Tommy: I appreciate it, thank you.
I walked out after shaking the guy's hand and I looked to spend time with Danny after what CK had done to him.
I even told mom about spending time with Danny at a mall or whatever, but I didn't tell her why. I didn't want her to worry about Cobra Kai hurting and/or mocking us for being from Jersey and looking for a new life in Reseda, in California.
Instead of questioning why, mom gave us money to spend at an arcade or whatever and we were off.
However, little did I know, more trouble was to come.
