Day 3
//Pixel's pov//
I woke up in the middle of the forest. It was morning and I was snuggled up inside my sleeping bag. I looked to my right and I saw Etoro staring at the sunrise. Right then, he turned to look at me. We both blushed. I don't have a crush on him or anything, right?! I'm only 9 years old, plus, he's like 3 years older than me.
"Good morning, E-etoro", I said looking away.

"Morning Pixel", he responded as he awkwardly scratched his cheek and looked at the sun again.

Right there Metoro woke up.

"Morning", we both said in unison. We looked at each other and quickly looked away.

Metoro smirked at our behavior, and stood up.

"We better get going. We're pretty close to the village and we wanna get there before we get into more trouble."

I packed all of my things and took out an apple. After that we began walking towards our goal.

//3rd person pov//

After a few hours, they stood in front of a wide open gate. There were two guards sitting down right next to the gate, one looked like he hadn't slept in days and, the other looked like he could eat a horse. The three of them walked up to them and talked to the sleepy one.

"Hello...", he said half asleep, "how may we help you?"

"Oh, umm, yes, we're here on a mission. We were told to bring Kuriharu Pikuseru. Could we speak to the third hokage?", Etoro asked.

"Yeah, sure. I'll lead you there", said the hungry one. He stood up and signaled them to follow him. They did as told and followed the guard. It was a short, yet awkward, walk. 

//pixel's pov//
A few minutes later, we reached the hokage's office. Metoro knocked on the door.

"Come in", spoke an old scratched-up voice. The chuunin opened the door and there he was, the man who was looking for me. He was this "hokage" everyone spoke of. He looked up from his paperwork and smiled. "Hello. You must be Pikuseru, right?" He asked me in a raspy voice. "Yes.", I stated bluntly.

"Well, it is very nice to meet you", he motioned for me to sit at one of the two chairs in front of his desk. "As for you two, could you want outside please? I need to talk to her in private"

Both Etoro and Metoro left without saying a word.

"I'm not gonna ask you anything too...private. I already have a file with your information. I only have one question, why do you wear that bandage around your eyes?"

"I'll show you", I said as I began taking my bandages off.

He stared at my eyes like they were from another planet or something. I quickly bandaged up my eyes again. I just couldn't stand the feeling of his gaze, judging me ever so slightly.

He shook his head from side to side and readjusted his gaze toward his desk. He picked  up a key, an envelope and a map, handing them to me right after.

"This is the key to were you will be staying, the envelope has your allowance. You will be given an allowance every month for everything you need to buy, including food. And last but not least, the map. The map is for you to get around the village easily. Oh and I almost forgot. Here", he said handing me a small paper with a room number, a name and a student ID number. "Your academy classes start in a week so be prepared. Also, tell the chunnin that were with you to come inside. Go say your goodbyes. You're gonna be staying here for a while. Have a good day!", he said waiving me off. I stood up, bowed and then left.

When I closed the door, I ran towards Etoro and Metoro.

"Is it true? Do you guys have to leave once you talk to the hokage?" I asked worried.

"Yes", they both said. I hugged them both and whispered "thank you". I let go and a tear fall from my eye,

"I guess...I'll see you guys some other day. The hokage said you could enter. I'll miss you. Good bye"

"Goodbye, Piku...", said Etoro in a depressed tone and then he looked down.

"Come on, Etoro", said Metoro, nudging his elbow. He then opened the door. As they both entered, Pikuseru stared at the door as it closed behind them.
