3 days until the academy:
I woke up from my bed with an unpleasantly loud knock on the door. "Coming!", I said in a grumpy tone as I stood up and walked to the door. When I opened it, there was one of the chunnin guards that greet me, Etoro and Metoro when we got here.  "Pikuseru, right?" He asked. "Yes?", I said and he cleared his throat. "There's some news from your home land. There was an attack from Iwagakure towards Ishigakure and there were a few...incidents. You are needed in the Hokage's office immediately". "Oh...ok. I'll go with you then", I answered with a face that had mixed-feelings. "Should I change?", I asked, looking at my inappropriate attire. "S-sure, at least put something over your clothes...", he said and I invited him inside to sit. He came inside and I ran to my bedroom and changed. I put on my brown vest and threw on my blue skirt over my pants. I went out and he was looking at my staff. He looked at it amazed, but, right then, he realized I got out.

"Is this yours?! Do you know how to use it?!?", he asked dashing over to me.

"Y-yes, it's mine and I know how to use it a little bit.", I said as I strapped it and my disk to my back. I also grabbed my chain sickle and hooked it up to a purple strap that was around my waist.

"Let's go!", he said. I followed him out the door, locked it and then ran to the hokage's office.

After a run that seemed eternal, we were finally there. We entered the office and the hokage quickly stood up and offered me to sit down. The guard walked out and slammed the door behind him. I jumped a little bit at this and stretched my back quickly. "Hello there, Pikuseru. I have some disturbing news. There was a attack in Ishigakure and we believe that the area that was gravely affected is where you house is, rather...was", he said with a sad tone and looked at his hands.

"WHAT?! Do you mean...", I trailed off thinking of my parents.

"Unfortunately yes"

"I'm going back right now! Even if its just to see the ruins of my home I am going.", she said running out of the office, slamming the door once again. He quickly stood up and alerted the guard to be on the look out for me. I kept running and running until I got to the gates. Somehow I managed to run out and through the gates without anyone noticing, the other guard was asleep.
