1) What goes around comes around,

Where one opportunity's missed, another's found,

Why sulk when you can sing?

There's a reason for everything.

2) Nothing's impossible if you believe it's possible,

We're taught all these sayings are necessary, unmissable,

But for the journey ahead can we ever, really, honestly prepare?

For its secrets, its twists and turns, life's never inclined to share.

3) Thinking you've packed for every occasion, an illusion,

For answers we turn to religion to solve life's confusion,

Petrol, MOT, service, any condition our vehicle can tolerate,

And so for security, we turn to science, to resolve life's debate. 

4) But just like that unforeseen pot hole at the roadside,

Our certainty and explanations go up in smoke as our car starts to collide,

But that's when we realize our destination is never clear,

That we must travel towards it joyfully, without fear.

5) Needlessly trying to unravel answers, time we must not waste,

Decisions we should make wisely, but make them with haste,

So when it's death's determined call you hear,

You are ready for it to draw near.
