Amaya's pov

We were all very excited to have our very first pokèmon. We had went to a park after we came from the professor's lab. We wanted to stop and enjoy our pokèmon. I set my bag down on the grass and pulled out my pokèball. The other girls put down their stuff and did the same. "Go Fennekin!", "Go Froakie!", "Go Eevee!", "Go Pikachu!", and "Go Dratini!", we said as we threw our pokèballs. There was flashes of red as our pokemon had came out. This was our first time to actually see our pokèmon, but it felt like we have done this several times before. Fennekin looked at me and nudged my leg. "Are you hungry?", I asked her. She nodded excitedly. I then nodded my head and walked to my backpack. My mom had gotten me some pokèpuffs the other day just in case. I pulled out the container and walked back to Fennekin. When she saw what was in it, she wagged her tail. I sat back down and opened the lid. I picked up a bright red one and held it in my hand. I held my hand down to where she could reach it, and she sniffed my hand. I smiled, and she began to nibble on the pokèpuff. Soon, the whole thing was gone! "Do you want another one?", I asked. She looked at me and nodded. I pulled out the container and pulled out a pink one this time. I put my hand down and she ate it. I then sat back up and looked at the other girls. Pikachu seemed like he was having a hard time getting along with Rory, but they'll be fine. Lizzie was running around with eevee following. Lily was playing around with her Froakie, as she really loves it. Luna was sitting near the lake with her Dratini. I stood up and looked around. I have heard from a book that Fennekins REALLY like to snack on sticks. Apparently the sticks give them energy. Since this IS a park, there should be a stick around here somewhere. I grabbed my backpack and put it on my back. I started walking around with Fennekin trailing behind me. While walking, I had found several sticks. Since she had just ate, I stuffed them in my backpack for later. I then walked back to the girls. "Hey guys! How are you and your pokèmon doing?", I asked. "Well, Pikachu kinda didn't like me at first, but now he does!", Rory said. I nodded. "Me and Froakie get along of course", Lily said. I rolled my eyes and nodded. "Me and Eevee have been playing and we get along!", Lizzie said. I then looked at Luna. "Well, my Dratini and I get along, and she kinda likes water for some reason", Luna said. "Well, I fed Fennekin some pokèpuffs and gathered some sticks for her", I said. They all nodded. "So, what should we do now?", Lizzie asked. "Umm... I think we should go to the Pokémon Center. They might have some items for sale that we might need!", I said. They all nodded in agreement. "Alright! Let's get our stuff and go!", I said. I sent Fennekin back in her pokeball and put her in my backpack while the others did the same. I put my backpack on and took a deep breath. Being a trainer is gonna be a great experience, but it will be hard. Oh well. As long as I have my friends and pokèmon, I'll be just fine. We started to walk out of the park, when I had walked into tall grass. I had just remembered that when you walk into it, you may find a wild pokèmon. I realized this, just when I had been stopped by a wild Petill. "Wow! My first Pokémon battle!", I said. I grabbed my pokèball from my backpack and threw it on the ground. "Go Fennekin!", I said. A bright red light appeared, as Fennekin pooped out. The Petill used leaf storm. Fennekin's HP went down a little. "Uh.. Fennekin use.. Ember!", I said. Fennekin's ears perked up as she heard me say that. She then took a step forward. A flame came from her as she started to use her move. A flame then shot towards the Petill. It seemed to be a critical hit, and the Petill ran away. "Yay! We won!", I said. Fennekin then jumped up and down. "Alright! Fennekin return!", I said as I put her back in her pokèball. I looked to my left to see that the girls had also got in a battle and had won. Phew. Being a trainer is gonna be awesome!
