Percy's pov

"Did you just see that?!"

"See what?" Grover asked ,confused.

"Percy, you scared me to death! And the first thing you said is, DID YOU JUST SEE THAT!?!!" Annabeth mimicked me, then her face soften, she muttered, "Don't ever do that again"

I looked around, I was in my room,and on my bed. The dazzling sun showed that the storm was over.

"How long was I out?"

"48 hours"

I struggled to do the math, I was never good at it.

"2 days" Annabeth answered, seeing my confusion.

"Thanks, Wise Girl!"

"Oh, what did you meant about 'did you just see that'?"

I told them what/who I saw. Annabeth's eyebrows drew together in concentration, thinking hard for a logical explanation.

"You must be hallucinating! You know, trying to keep the ship in one piece during the storm must have drained all your strength and you started imagining things!" she pointed out.

I thought about that. It seemed convincing enough. But part of me didn't want to believe that.

What if I wasn't hallucinating at all?

"All right, can we just move on to another topic, this topic seemed to involve a lot of thinking, that, we should leave that for the wisest person here. Me and Perce will talk about FOODS!" Grover interrupted.

Annabeth looked at me, as if I should be siding with her. I pretended to think about it, teasing her.

"That's actually not a bad idea!"

"Seaweed brain, I'm warning you, we are having a very serious conversation here, you still can change your mind while you are still alive." She said, playing along.

I joked, "If by 'a serious conversation', can you possibly meant Grover's idea is one?"

"I never thought that you can be such a seaweed brain, SEAWEED BRAIN!"

"I know right!" Grover interrupted us, again, then looked at me, "Can we now talk about foods?" he asked.

I shrugged, pondering it.

"That's it!" she cried, then stormed out of my room.

We erupted in laughter.

"Talking about foods make me hungry. Let's get some snacks, sweet snacks!"

"Yeah! Way to go, man! We should talk about foods more often with Annabeth, I'm sure she'll enjoy it, even more than we do!" I said, hoping he noted my sarcasm, then patted him on the back.
