I ran back to my room immediately.
Did I just saw when I think I did? What in the world!? It must be my imagination! This can't be real! I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming. I pinched my arm, real hard. THIS ISN'T A DREAM!!! I freaked out, this really is happening!!!
What should I do? I don't know what to do! What is going on? Is this some kind of a...prank to freak someone out? Oh yeah, that must be it! Ha! They thought I was gonna fall for that. Wait, I fell for it for a moment.... I bet it's Annabeth's idea to prank me, she loves to prank me, she's probably laughing at me right now for running off like that. Well, she should stop!!! I'm going to have a talk with her about this, it's not funny, at all!

It didn't take me long to find her. She was hanging out with Rose in the library, each holding a pile of books. Bookworms.
"ANNABETH!" I called out.
"SHHH!!" The librarian, Rose, and Annabeth all shushed me.
"Sorry," I whispered, "Rose, can I borrow Annabeth for a second? I need to talk to her. Now."
"What? What do you want to talk with me about?" She asks once we were out of the library.
"Stop. You know what I'm talking about. Stop playing stupid, it's not funny!" I accused.
"What are you talking about!?" She seemed confused.
"Annabeth. YOU. KNOW. WHAT. I'M. TALKING. ABOUT." I gritted my teeth, extremely frustrated.
" No, I'm serious, what are you talking about?!" She repeated her question.
"STOP! Drop the act... Wait, are you seriously serious?" I asked, searching her eyes for the truth.
"Yes, I am. Now are you going to tell me what's going on?"
My mouth fell open. What's really is going on? It's not Annabeth... So...so, are they really who they said they were?
