I walked around the village with Léon at my side, he was holding my hand tightly, my parents were on there way, they had gotten our letter, and responded quickly, and that had been a few days ago.

Me and your father are happy you are helping people, we will visit soon, we just have to pack up a few things. Stay safe you two!

We hadn't told them much, we were going to go over everything face to face. I was nervous of what their reaction would be, their youngest daughter now about to give them a grandchild.

I saw figures moving in the distance and I pointed to them, Léon following my finger.

"Well, This is it." He said with a sigh, his long, blonde hair blowing in his face.

"Yeah, you nervous?" I asked him and he squeezed my hand lightly, my head lurching but I steadied myself.

The figures grew closer, it was just Mom and Dad, Aurora must have stayed home to watch her monster of a child.

"Ái!" I was crushed a huge by my mother, Dad ruffled my hair and fist bumped Léon.

"I hope you've been taking care of my daughter." He said jokingly, and Léon gave a nervous laugh "Yeah, I have been si-Aaron."

"So what's so important you drug us across the wasteland for?" Mom asked, her hands in her jean pockets.

"Well, first." I start, my fingers fumbling nervously. " Me and Léon are together." I smiled gently at him and he nodded nervously, grabbing my hand.

Mom's face lit up and she giggled, hugging us both. "Congratulations you two!" She squealed, and I looked up at Dad.

To my relief, he was smiling, nodding his head in agreement, he turned around and laughed at Léon's face.

"Good lord man, you look even worse than me when I met Aph's father." He gave out a laugh that sounded like a bark and Léon sighed in relief.

"And there's people we want you to meet!" I was more confident over who we are going to show them, it was the last thing I wanted to tell them that scared me.

"Luis! Comet! Come out here please! We have people we want you to meet!" Léon shouted into the open palace door, and Luis came running out.

"Hello! I'm Luis! It's nice to meet you!" He said politely and slowly, Mom looked shocked Dad looked mad.

"Hi Luis, I'm Aphmau, That is My husband, Aaron." Mom bent down to greet her, and he shook her hand firmly.

He went up to Dad and stuck out his hand, He grinned and shook it with is mechanical arm.

"Cool! I want an arm like that!" Luis said excitedly, breaking his polite demeanor.

"Luis where is your brother?" I ask lightly, and he looks around for him.

"I don't know, he was right behind me." He went back inside and came out with Comet, who was shyly hiding behind his brother's leg.

He ran up to me, jumping into my arms and hugging me, eying my parents suspiciously.

"Mommy, who dis?" I had to stifle a snicker, I couldn't believe Léon taught him that word.

"These are my parents buddy." I replied, and he stares at them again.

"H-Hewo...." He said and I felt the tension between all of us leave, the cuteness of Comet defusing the situation.

"Hi! How old are you Comet?" My mother asked him, and he flushed closer to my chest.

"Um.... two, almwst twee...."

"That's right you have a birthday coming up don't you?" Léon added, taking him from my arms and tickling him.

He squealed and giggled, Léon laughing at Comets wiggling.

"Alright you two. Go play alright, Mommy and Daddy have to finish talking okay?" They nod and run into the palace laughing.

"We're parents, of three!" I said aloud, and Dad asked suddenly "where's the third?"

I glance up at Léon and he walks behind me and gently lays his hands on my belly.

"On the way." He said, his hands shaking and they both fell silent, my Dad's fist clenched, and he looked down so we couldn't see his face.

"Your joking. Right?" Mom sounded distraught, and I gulped, this was going the way I knew it would.

"No..... We're having a baby......" Léon replied, he was terrified, but he still stood his ground.

"Léon. Boy. I'm giving you a head start because I like you. Run." Dad clenched his hand, I felt Léon give an involuntary leg movement, but he didn't run.

"I'm not going to run away. I can't run away, this was my fault, and it's my kid, I'm going to take responsibility. I'm not running." He started my father down with intensity, this did not surprise him.

"Good boy." Dad nodded but still looked a little ticked.

"I'm happy for you two, now can we get someplace to sit down in this palace of yours." Mom had gotten over it pretty quickly, and I was taken aback.

"Your not mad, or sad, you don't want to kill Léon?" I asked incredulously, Léon adding to it with "Let's count our blessings Ái, let it go."

"Well, if I killed him, the baby would be without its father. And we uh....kinda figured this would happen at some point." Dad nodded sadly, holding mom who was also nodding.

       Well, that was good. I guess.
