Aditi pov:

I scolded my brother because I'm getting late to the college.. He told me that he will drive fast and I felt a gulp in my throat..

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes tightly.. I'm scared of this damn speed.. My hands became cold and I was unable to breath..

Suddenly I felt someone shaking me and I slowly opened my eyes...

"Twinkle.. Are you OK?", My brother asked.

No Karan.. I'm not OK.. I want to scream but my eyes fell on the person next to my brother..

Vachan is looking at me with a question mark face.. I know that he was thinking about my strange behaviour..God!! I don't want him to know about my phobia

I should be normal..I thought.

Twinkle.. just relax.. I told myself and took a deep breath closing my eyes.

I opened my eyes and looked at my Brother.. He was worried about me..

"I'm fine Karan..", I said and got down of the car. I started walking to my class without looking back.

God!!My heart is still out of control.. I don't know when I will overcome this fear..

I went to my class and I didn't find Sid. Then yesterday's incident came into my mind.. God!! I have to apologize him... I was in my thoughts and I saw my lecturer walking inside.. We stood up and greeted him..

Where is Sid? Now lecturer will ask about the assignments..

Where are you Sid? I had even wrote your assignments.. I took my phone from my bag and messaged him..

"Have you done your assignments?", I heard lecturer's voice and everyone nodded there heads.

"Now come and submit them.. one by one..", Lecturer said and calling our names.

What should do now? Should I submit Sid's assignment.. I was in my thoughts when I heard Sid's voice from the door.

"May I come in Sir?", Sid asked.

"Mr. Siddarth you are late.. better come to the next class..", Lecturer said in serious tone.

"Sorry Sir.. Please excuse me for this time.. I won't repeat my mistake again..", Sid pleaded him.

"Did you finished the assignments?", Lecturer asked him shocking me.

God!! How can I help you Sid? I wrote your assignments too but what should I do now.. I should do something so save my friend from this Lecturer..

"Sir.. I had completed my assignments..", Sid said taking out a file from his bag.

"That's great.. Hand over the copy to me..", Lecturer said and Sid submitted his copy.

"You did a great job Siddarth..", Lecturer said and he smiled.

What the hell is this? Who helped him.. I should be the only one who should help my best friend.. all my thoughts were shattered hearing Lecturer's voice.

"Go and take your seat Siddharth..", Lecturer said and he started walking towards me.

He looked at me and I smiled at him.. He averted his gaze and passed over me.. He walked towards the last bench and sat beside a girl. I was in utter shock seeing his actions...

I looked at him and he started to have a conversation with that girl.. I felt a gulp in my throat.. He is hurting me..

I had submitted my assignments and tried to focus on the lecture but I felt my heart heavy all of a sudden.. Aditi be strong.. Sid will forgive you.. Don't worry.. You are going to talk to him and sort out the problem.. I said to myself and relaxed a bit.

After the class, I took my books and walked towards the last bench.. I cleared my throat and Sid turned his head towards me.

"Sid.. What the hell are you doing?", I asked and he didn't respond.

"I'm sorry Sid.. I shouldn't have talked like that.. I'm really sorry..", I said in a pleading tone.

" Tell her to go away.. I don't want to talk to her..", Sid said to the girl sitting next to him.

"Hello, You can talk to me directly.. Why are you behaving like this?", I asked and he gave me an angry look.

"I don't want to talk to you.. Please give me some space..", Sid shouted and now everyone are looking at us.

"I'm really sorry Sid.. Please forgive me..", I said with tears in my eyes.

"Don't you understand? I don't want to talk to you.. Get that to your brain..", He shouted and left the place leaving me in tears.

Immediately, I knelt on my knees and started crying.. I know that everyone are looking me but I can't control myself.. I was crying and I felt someone's hand on my shoulder.. I lifted my head to see and It was Krithi.

"Don't cry Aditi.. Everyone are looking at us..", she said and made me to stand up.

She took my bag and we left the place. We went to the lawn and she asked me to sit on the bench. There is a few minutes of silence between us..

"Hmm... Now tell what happened? Why is he angry with you?", she asked and I felt tears in my eyes.

"Nothing really..", I said wiping my eyes.

"Okay.. if you want to share anything then don't hesitate.. Even I'm your best friend right?", She asked and I nodded. There is a few minutes of silence between us..

"Now.. let's go to the canteen.. I'm starving..", she said breaking my stream of thoughts.

"I can't come Kriti.. you please cary on..",I said.

"No you are coming and that's final..",she said and I finally agreed.

We went to the canteen and I saw Varun's gang.. They started whistling seeing me.. I tried a lot to control my anger... I want to go and punch them on there faces.

"Hey baby.. where is your body guard?", Varun asked and I ignored the question.

"What happened between you and Sid? Did he broke up with you?",He asked making me to loose my temper.

"What the hell do you want to know about us? Why are you caring for me? He is my best friend and one more thing just stay away from me..",I shouted on him and everyone are looking at me.

"Hey Relax baby.. He is not good for you.. just leave him and come to me.. You will have fun with me ..", he said taking my hand.

"You are a jerk..", I said and slapped him.

"What the hell? you are dead Aditi..", he said and caught my hand.

"Leave me you jerk..",I said and tears are on their way.

Siddarth pov:

I called my Aditi but her response irritated me.. She said that I'm disturbing her..

"Why would I avoid you? Listen.. Sid my mood is not at all good.. I had a lot of work to do and please don't waste my time with your damn calls..", her words are still echoing in my ears..

How can she talk like that? Am I really wasting her time.. I hate her.. I'll make her realise her mistake.. I will not talk to her..

"Am I really wasting your time? OK fine then.. I won't disturb you again in my life.. Sorry for all the trouble..", I said and disconnected the call.

I threw my phone in full rage and laid on my bed.. Suddenly my assignments flashed into my mind..

God!! I should write them.. I can't take Aditi's help.. I got up from my bed and started writing my assignments..

Hell with these assignments.. This is the first time I'm writing my assignments.. Everytime my Aditi will write my assignments..

I'm really lucky to have Aditi in my life... Sometimes my heart says she is more than a friend but I'm really confused about my feelings towards her..

Soon I did my assignments and drifted into sleep.. Next day, I got up and did my morning chores. I got ready in black shirt and blue jeans..

I was preparing myself to not to talk to Aditi and I heard my phone ringing.. It was my dad Vikram..

"Hello Vikram..", Yaa you heard it right..

I like to call my dad with his name.. he is my everything.. I was born and brought up in England.. But I decided to do my graduation in India.

"Hello Sid.. How are you doing?", Dad asked me.

"Fine Vikram.. what about you?Are you taking your medicines properly?", I asked.

"I'm good son..",He said and I hummed.

"There is a good news Sid.. we are expanding our company.. we are going to start a branch in Sydney..", he said.

"Wow!! That's a great news Dad..", I said in excitement.

"Yes of course.. it is a great news.. but first tell me when are you going to come here?", He asked.

"I'll come soon.. But Vikram first tell me where is my mom.. I'm missing her voice..",I asked.

"She is in the kitchen.. Hang on I'll make her talk with you..",he said.

"Hello Sid..",I heard the most sweetest voice..

"Mom..", I almost shouted.

"Sid? Are you OK?",My mom asked.

"I'm missing you badly..",I said in low voice.

"Even I'm missing you my dear..", she said and I hummed.

"So Sid.. How is life in India?",She asked.

"Awesome mom.. I really love this country.. I want to settle here..", I said.

"Really? Do you really want to settle there?",She asked.

"Yes mom.. I'll take care of our branch in India..", I said.

"You took a good decision Sid.. I'm really proud of you..",she said and I smiled.

"How is Aditi?", She asked.

"Don't talk about her mom..", I said in an irritated tone.

"What happened Sid?", She asked.

"Nothing much.. it's just a small fight..", I said.

"OK fine.. try to sort out but don't loose her.. she is really good..", My mom said and I hummed.

"Okay fine.. I'll call you later.. I need to go Mom.. bye..", I said and disconnected the call.

Soon I went to my college and I know Aditi will write my assignments too.. I submitted my assignments and I looked at Aditi.. She was looking at me with pleading eyes.

I averted my gaze and went to the last bench.. I sat next to a girl and I know Aditi's eyes are on me.. After the class she apologised me but I ignored her.. I went to the playground and sat on a bench..

I was recollecting her words and I heard Kriti's voice.. She was running towards me..

"What happened?", I asked her.

"A..di..ti..", she said breathing heavily.

"Aditi.. What happened to her?", I asked her with a worried look.

"Varun's gang is teasing her. She needs help..",Kriti said shocking me.

"Where?", I asked gritting my teeth.

"Canteen..",she said and rushed to the spot.

I was shocked to see the scene. Varun caught her hand and she was struggling to get rid of her hold..

"What the hell is going on here?", I shouted and varun turned towards me.

He released her hand and Aditi rushed towards me..I saw tears in her eyes and it hurted me.. Her eyes turned red and her hands were shivering.

"Aditi.. relax..",I said and wiped her tears. I turned towards those idiots and took Aditi's hand into mine.

I walked towards them and they took few steps back.

"Hey look.. what's your problem?", I asked holding Varun's collar and he didn't reply anything.

"I had already told you that she is my best friend.. Then why are disturbing her? She is not interested in you.. Stay away from her..",I shouted.

"Leave them Sid.. Please..", Aditi said pulling me away. She caught my hand and took me to the lawn..

"Why did you went to the canteen when I'm not there with you",I shouted at her.

"Sid.. I'm sorry..", she said crying.

"I don't want your apologies Aditi..first answer my question..",I asked.

"Kriti took me to that place..", she said in low voice and there is a few minutes of silence between us.

"Talk to me Sid.. please I'm really sorry.. ",she said melting my heart but I controlled myself.

Sid.. control man.. you can't forgive her that easily.. I told to myself.

"It's okay.. I'm going now.. I had an important work.. I'll talk to you later..", I said and left the place without giving her a chance to speak..

Aditi pov:

Sid was still angry with me.. I don't know when he will forgive me.. Today is the worst day in my life.. My mood is totally off.. I want to go home..

I took my phone and dialed to Karan.. He picked up the call for the first ring..

"Hello Bhai..", I greeted him.

"Is everything okay Twinkle?", He asked me in a worried tone.

"Bhai.. Are you free?", I asked him.

"Yaa.. of course.. I'm free..", he said.

"Will you come to pick me from the college? I'm getting headache bhai.. I want to go home..", I said.

"Okay.. I'll be there in few minutes", he said and I disconnected the call.

I sat in the lawn waiting for my brother..

Vachan pov:

I went to the office along with Karan.. He introduced me to the whole staff and I greeted them..

I went to Karan's cabin and I started studying new files.. I was engaged in my work and I heard Karan's voice.

"Vachan.. I need to your help..", he asked me.

"What's up dude? What do you want me to do?", I asked him.

"I got a call from Twinkle. She asked me to pick her up from the college but I had an important meeting to attend So Will you go and pick her?",He asked me.

"Okay.. ",I said and I got up from my chair.

Soon I came out from the office and started to college. Suddenly today's morning incidents flashed into my mind..

"She is scared of speed..",Karan's words echoed in my ears.

Aditi.. you are dead now.. I'll make regret for hurting my ego.. I thought and a smile came on my face.

Soon I reached the place and I saw her in the lawn.. I got down from the car and walked towards her.. she was busy in writing something.. she cleared my throat so that she will notice me.

She lifted her head and immediately closed her book.. she got up from her place and was waiting for me to speak.

"Hello Twinkle... ",I said.

"Where's my brother?",She asked.

"He had an important meeting so he told me to pick you..", I said.

"Come.. I'll drop you at your place.. ",I said and she took her bag. We both walked towards our car and she didn't speak anything..

I got inside the car and ignited the engine.. I started driving the car and she was looking at the passing scenery..

"Are you okay?", I asked and she didn't reply.

"Hey.. I asked you something.. Are you okay? You look so dull..", I asked her with concern.

"It's non of your business... drop me at my home.. I don't want to talk now..",she said making me to loose my temper.

Aditi.. you are testing my patience.. get ready to face me..I thought and changed the gear. I pressed the accelerator and increased the speed.

I looked at her and her expressions started to change.. I can see fear in her eyes.. She holded the seat belt tightly and her lips started to shiver.

I increased the speed to 100 and she looked at me with fear in her eyes.

"What are you doing Vachan? Slow down the car..", she asked.

"What? Why should I reduce the speed? Just wait Twinkle you will definitely enjoy this ride", I said smiling and increased the speed to 150..

"Vachan.. please stop the car.. please.. I beg you.. please stop..", she said with tears in her eyes.

"Are you crying twinkle? But why? Just wait for few minutes you will be at your place.. ",I said and she closed her eyes.

Soon I stopped at her house and I got down from my seat.. I walked to the other side and opened her door..

"Twinkle..", I called her and she opened her teary eyes. Her hands were shaking and fear is visible in her eyes..

She took her bag and got down from the car..

"How is the ride?", I asked her and her action gave a shock to me..

Slap!!!!!!!

She gave me a slap across my cheek and started crying loud..

"I hate you...",she said in between her hiccups.

"I hate you Vachan...",She said and left the place..
