-Miranda P.O.V.-

Cyrus smiled at me weakly."Hey." he groaned out.

I chuckled at him. "This is the first time we see each other in God knows for how long, and you say 'hey'?" I managed.

"Sorry." he groaned out.

"It's fine, but what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be back with Mark?"

They looked at me. "I... Came here to find you."

"Okay, I was goi-"

"I'm not finished. I came here to find you, and lead you home."

"How is that possible?"

"The Rainbow Sage Pepe." His tone became serious.

"Pepe? How is that possible?" Alyssa asked.

"I saw him," Cyrus replied, and he warned me that the world will draw Miranda back in one way or another."

"Wait, the only way that can happen is if-"

"If someone from this world went to where she came from."

It dawned on me as to what his words hid.

"Cyrus, don't tell me..."

"You went over there?" Alyssa pressed a hand to her forehead as I finished for her. "To my world?"

Cyrus's face fell. "It was an accident. After I fell, I went through a portal. And then it dawned on me. It's my fault."

"How so?" I asked him, and Alyssa was sending me a signal to stop.

"Because... You died. And Pepe, he told me something else."

"What was it?"

"That fates if our other selves are tied to our lives. If you died in this world, then..." he shot me forlorn look.

"I'm... Bound to die?" I scoffed, "You don't believe that do you?"

"We never found our Miranda." Alyssa offered.

I backed up, pressing a hand to my forehead. This was too much, even for me and my Episodes.

"I... I think I need a minute to myself."

"Miranda..." Alyssa began to approach me.

"Please. I just need to clear my head."

And before Alyssa could reach me, I ran off outside the tent.

I ran off to the nearby river, and I sat down, my head flodded with various thoughts.

And I knew one thing was for sure.

I may be bound to die before I could see my family ever again.
