After the first travel
No more poems were written
There were just those tiny tales
Which burnt away and glistened

From an OLD FRIEND
To the FRIEND REQUEST
He tried his hand at horror too
In pursuit of his quest

But then came the post
Which changed it head over heels
It was LOVE AT SECOND THOUGHT
Which was written with different feels

The story of a boy and girl
It was based on a true event
It was that time around
When he had given his heart on rent

After a couple weeks went by
It made the boy feel guilty
Deep inside that innocent heart
He knew he was faulty

A fear set in him
"What if she read it out?"
Would their friendship still survive
Love's treacherous little bout?

He took the post down
But it changed his way of thinking
He needed a better ocean
To save his ship from sinking

If he was to write freely
He needed a private place
Where no one knew the boy
Where he would feel no fire ablaze

So the search began again
For a strange and private place
It ended in this orange world
Where he was an ant in a maze

In this magical world
No one knew this boy
Without a fear or shyness
He can use the words, his toy

And so the journey began
In this world called Wattpad
Where the boy wished to revel
Without the inhibitions he had

Leaving behind all the insecurities he had...

It's not passion or ambition that drives you every time. Sometimes, it's just a fear of something that can make all the difference.

And that day, that moment, which led me back to Wattpad, it has indeed made all the difference.

Today, I've written a number of poems and short stories here and they have helped me rediscover myself. It is slowly giving me the courage I need to get out in the world.
And the first step has been successfull.

I self-published 'Colours of Their Rainbow' a couple of years back, and people around me really appreciated it.
This has encouraged me to write more and get more books published so my words can travel the world and reach their readers.

This was my journey from being just a reader to becoming a writer on Wattpad and going beyond from here.
And to everyone who's reading this, all I'd like to say is, "Keep believing! It will happen one day."
