Keerti's point of view

My lips curled into a smile looking at the Nick and Emily's wedding pictures in my phone where Nick tripped on his feet while dancing and falls down along with Emily. It was really a gunny moment. Everyone broked into a fistfull laugh and Emily was glaring at Nick in anger.

Today is Sunday so no office, so i am chilling in my bedroom, spending my time by looking at the pictures of Nick  and Emily's wedding.

Mom and Dad went outside with their friends and Bhayi and Bhabhi don't know where they both are since yesterday. I didn't see them after the wedding, I tried Preeti Bhabhi phone but it was switched off and Bhayi didn't pick his phone.

I swiped and the next picture is  Bhabhi, Emily and mine. I was wearing a creamy pink skirt and it was really looking a good on me. We all three smile while looking at the camera.

My eyes narrowed and I looked at my phone with more focus when I noticed someone familiar behind us. I zoomed the picture and saw it was bhayi standing behind, far from us and looking at our side, especially bhabhi.

He is crazy for her.

I rolled my eyes and swipe the next picture and it was none other than the love birds. Bhayi and bhabhi was dancing wile looking at each other's eyes with love. They both are perfect example of true love.

They both face many difficulties in their life but always stood beside each other and the way they both look at eachother, I wish I also have someone who looked at me with same love as bhayi looked at bhabhi. I wish I will also get same kind of love.

I swiped  the next picture, my hands froze and my eyes is stuck in their sockets, looking at the picture.

It was a picture of I and James dancing. Last I remember I was dancing with Dad, I don't know how I end up in his arms. We both are looking at eachother like we both are so in love which is not true. He probably hates me what I have done to him and he make me feel more guilty when he behaved politely with me. Maybe he forgets everything and move on.

I picked the call immediately when I saw the caller ID.

"Hello.."

"Hii..Serra.."

"Did I disturb you?" Serra asked me.

"No..Absolutely not." I said.

"Oh! Okey..I know it's Sunday, But can you do me a favor." She asked me little hesitantly.

"Can you give me the file which I gave you on Friday?" She asked me hesitantly.

"Right now..?" I asked her while crossing my fingers, hoping she said 'No' because I'm not in a mood to leave my room.

"Yeah.."

Fuck..

"Okay. I'll come to your house." I said while sighing.

"Oh..No need to go there. Actually I am at office right now so you need to come here."

Fuck..

It was too far from here at the other side of the downtown and I don't want to drive that far.

"Okey..I will be there in 30." I said while pushing back my hair.

"Okey see you in 30." After saying this she hung up.

I got up from the the bed I walked to my walkin closet.

Today is sunny day so I changed into yellow sundress. I picked the file and ny phone and walked to downstairs.

I was climbing down from the stairs but my feet came to in sudden halt when I looked at my front.

James enter the hall through front door, while looking something in his phone. He is wearing a blue shirt with black jeans. His jet black hair is perfectly jelled, looking more handsome when we used to date and I suddenly realized he is not mine anymore.

His lips curled into a beautiful smile. He chuckled softly looking at his phone and typed something in his phone.

Maybe texting to his girlfriend.

Is she beautiful?

Is he in love with her?

Why am I thinking all this? I'm not his girlfriend.

Suddenly he raised his eyes from his phone and our eyes met. His smile immediately wiped off from his face and locked his gaze to me that I can't even move my eyes from him if I want too.

His eyes fell from my head to toe and something glistening in his eyes. He is checking me out openly and shamelessly.

Check out the one you were texting before, dued.

My devil side screaming inside me to say him loudly but we both know, my tongue get tired everytime infront of him and I change from bold one to shy one.

I averted my gaze from him and climbed down from stairs slowly. I know he is looking my every move, giving a goosebumps to me.

We both stood there silently and I try to avoid his gaze. None of us said anything. My eyes fell on him and he is already looking at me.

He opened his mouth to say something but stop when we both heard the sound of laughing of someone.

We both looked at the front gate. Bhayi and bhabi both walked inside hand in hand.

They are cute, aren't they.

When Preeti bhabhi saw us, she immediately left bhayi's hand. Bhayi glared at her and held her hand again.

I chuckled looking at them. Bhabhi still so shy after their marriage to hold her husband's hand in front of everyone.

"You came early?" Bhayi asked James walking towards us.

Bhabhi give me smile.

"I thought you were home." James said.

"No, I told you I will be home after thirty minutes." Bhayi said while narrowing his eyes on him.

"Yeah it was an hour before." James said in a duh tone.

"Yeah, I caught in some important work, which need my attention immediately." Bhayi smirked looking at bhabhi.

I turned to bhabhi and she turned into beetroot and avoid bhayi's gaze.

I know they both did something dirty last night and morning too. My eyes  fell on bhabhi's neck and it was fill with hickeys which she tried hard to hide with a thick layer of concealer but even concealer failed to hide them.

I know bhayi, he must be wild but was he tried to eat bhabhi?

I wiggled my both eyebrows to bhabhi. Bhabhi blushed and adjust his saree pallu (drape) try to hide her hickeys.

"Forget it... here is your contract which you asked me to make." James said while giving bhayi a file which I didn't notice before.

Bhayi took the file from him and looked at the papers with focus.

"Did you write all conditions which I told you to put in contract." Bhayi asked while turning the page.

"Yeah.." james said.

"Have you eat something. " Bhabhi asked me.

"Yeah, Nancy gave breakfast yo me on time." I said.

"Are you going somewhere?" She asked me looking at the file in my hand.

"Yeah.. Serra called me few minutes ago. She wants this file. So I was going to office to give her." I said looking at the file.

Bhabhi nodded her head and give me smile.

I saw red mark on bhayi's neck.

Oh! So bhabhi is wild too.

I smirked when an evil idea came to my mind. Let's have some fun. It's been a while when I pulled their legs.

"Where were you last night bhayi?" I asked still smirking.

"With my wife.." Bhayi said in a duh tone still looking at the contract.

Smart ass. Never going to tell me where they were last night. But I am smart ass too.

"Is that mosquito bite on your Neck."
I said and turned to bhabhi which turned to crimson red in embarrassment.

Bhayi smirked still looking at the file and flip the page.

"Neah..My wife bites me. She got wild in morning." Bahyi said looking at bhabhi with smirk.

Wow! Today bhayi is also at my side.

"Ssiiddhhhaarth.." Bhabhi shouted his name in embarrassment and run to upstairs to hide somewhere in embarrassment.

We all broke into laugh looking  at her retreat figure.

Okey everything is fine. Make one more copy of this contract." Bhayi said while giving back the file to james.

James nodded his head and take the file.

"Going somewhere..?" Bhayi asked me while raising his one eyebrow to me.

"Yeah.. office.. serra called me for a file. I should go I'm already late"  I said while looking at the time on my wrist watch.

"Wait... James is also going that side. He will drop you." Bhayi said looking at james.

I and james looked each other at same time.

Maybe he doesn't want me to come with him.

"No bhayi. It's fine. I will go by myself." I said looking at james.

I saw disappointment in his voice. Like he hurts with my words.

"Do as I say." Bhayi said sternly.

When he  used that tone on me. It means he doesn't want further discussion.

I sighed and nodded my head slowly.

"James never call me again. It's over between us." I know what I'm saying it will broke his heart but it is necessary.

I don't want to hurt him.

"What are saying? Did something happened in school. Tell me.. if someone told you anything I swear I'll make him piss in his pants." I can sense the fear in his voice of losing me.

I am also afraid of losing him as much as he is for me. But I have to do it. I had think about it lot and breaking up with him is the best way to save him from the wrath of my brother if he came to know that I am dating one of his best friend.

He is London and I am in New York and this is the best way of breaking up with him on phone because if he was in front of me, i might not be able to break his heart.

"I want to breakup with you. Don't you understand." I said while wiping my tears

"If you want to breakup with me then why are you crying. I know you love too. Please tell me baby what happened?" He asked me with a little  desperation in his voice.

"Yes, I love you and i will alway but I don't want you get kill by my brother.  He will never approve our relationship and I don't want be the reason behind your broken friendship.  It's batter we gets apart." I choked and closed my eyes, let more tears fall from my eyes.

"I will talk to Siddharth. After completing your graduation we will both go to him for his approval." He said try to make me understand.

"You don't get it james. He will kill you the moment he will know about our relationship. We have to stop all this. Please don't call me again. Forget that something had ever happened between us." I said while broke into other wave tears.

"Keerti I.."

Before He could say anything I cut the call.

Bhayi will kill both of us. He will never understand our love. what happened  in school week ago made me realized what I am doing with james and I don't  let him hurt by anyone.

He will get another beautiful British girl in his college. He is a law student in famous  law school and handsome  too, any girl will fall for him and his kind nature.

Peep...peep

I looked around when i came out from my thoughts by the sound of car honking. I was zoned out that I didn't realize I am in car with him.

I turned my head towards him and looked at his handsome face. Any girl will fall for him on his sharp features.

James is my childhood crush. I always  crushing over him when I was thirteen. He is four year older than me and one of  best friend of my brother.

He is the first junior in our high school who got select in seniors football team. Bhayi himself selected him after seeing his game. He has the huge girl fan following after bhayi.  Bhayi known as the bad boy and James known for his humble and shy nature.

I always admire him from afar and send him flowers and other gifts anonymously. Every girl wants to date him but he choose me over all beautiful girls.

In high school no one have enough guts to ask me for the date because of bhayi but he the first boy who asked me for a date.

He confessed his feelings for me when he went to London to study law amd came to home in holidays after giving his second year exams. I also confessed my feelings to him. We both date one and half year until I realized what will bhayi do if he came to know about James and I.

He stopped the car at red light and tapping his fingers on steering wheel.

"Don't look at me like that. You will fall for me again."  He said with blank face while turning his head to me.

I blinked my eyes many times. I didn't  even realize  I was looking at him without a blink.

"Sorry.. I was thinking something.." I said while looking at the yellow  traffic light which turns to green.

"About us...?"

I immediately looked at him. He averted his gaze from road to me. We both looked at each other until we heard the honking of cars behind us. He averted his gaze back to the front and pull the accelerator.

This is the first time in four year we talked to each other.
