Preeti's point of view

"Bhayi..Bhabhi come fast. Otherwise I am going to miss my flight." I heard Keerti was calling us from the living room.

I was in a puja room preparing a puja thali for keerti. Today she is going to Europe for her project so we celebrate rakhi today. I immediately lit diya and put two pieces of sweets along with Siddharth's rakhi. I took puja thali and walked towards living room room, Siddharth also climbing down from the stairs while buttoning his cufflinks.

Dad was reading Newspaper while mom packing some snacks for keerti.

"Bhayi you are late.." Keerti said  while taking the puja thali from me.

"I am here right now shut up." Siddharth said while messing her perfect combed hair. He really loves to mess her hair when she perfectly comb them.

"Bhayi.." keerti groaned in anger.

"What...?" Siddharth said innocently.

"Daaad.." keerti called dad for help.

"Sid...Don't teas her." Dad said without looking from his newspaper.

Keerti smirked and wiggled her eyebrow on Siddharth.

"Keerti..he is your elder brother dear. He teas you because he loves you." Mom said.

Now Siddharth smirked on her and wiggled his eyebrow.

I laughed looking at them. They both reminds me fights between Anshul and I. But the difference is Papa always took Anshul side and mummy took mine.

Siddharth hold my hand and we both sit on the couch. Siddharth grinning while looking at me whe I put my saree pallu on my head.

Mom and Dad along with some mades looking at us lovingly when keerti started doing our aarti and performing the rituals of Rakhi.

I and Siddharth both closed our eyes and put our right hand on our head when keerti did our tilak. She first tie rakhi on Siddharth's hand and then mine.

"My gift...?" She asked while stretching her hand towards us.

Siddharth open her wallet and took out his card.

"It's yours..buy anything you want." He said while handed her card.

"Really bhayi.." she said while looking at the card with her dreamy eyes.

"Yup.." He said.

"Now bhabhi it's your turn. " she stretched her hand towards me and looked at me with her wide smile.

"But I gave you the card as a gift then why are you asking gift from Preeti?" asked Siddharth.

"I also tie rakhi to bhabhi so I want gift from her also."

I chuckled and give her a gift wrap box. She immediately tor the wrapper  and took out her gift from the box. It was a watch exact her like. It wasn't  expensive comparison to her other expensive watches but it looked beautiful than others.

"Bhabhi it's beautiful.." she said while wearing her watch and showed us.

"Indeed.." Mom said looking at the watch.

"It has to be beautiful. My beautiful wife bought it." Siddharth said while winking at me and put his one hand around my shoulder.

My cheeks immediately turn crimson when he try to flirt with me in front of our family. After that drunk incident I always walked out when Siddharth tried to get closed to me or flirt with me in front of everyone. I am still embarrassed of my action.

I swear to God I will never touch liquor again in my life.

"I..I..t..th..tink Nancy needs my help in kitchen.." I stammered and walked out from there and everyone broke into laugh.

It's been three days when keerti went to Europe for work and house is already look empty without her. I and mom came to the grocery store to buy  ingredients for baking. Tomorrow is Siddharth's birthday and I want to bake a cake for my husband myself and want to surprised him.

I turned to third aisle to grab vanilla essences which was in front of the billing counter when I reached there I saw james with a girl. She looked familiar to keerti. I can't see her face completely because of people around her and I can see only her side face but I am sure it's her.

She should be in Europe then what is she doing here? I called her yesterday and she told me she can't come on Siddharth's birthday because it took her one more week to complete her work.

I took my phone and dial her number to confirm that she is in Europe or not. Bell is ringing and my eyes  are fixed on the girl beside James.

"Hello..bhabhi.." Keerti picked her phone and at the same time the girl also picked her phone.

"Keerti..where are you?" I asked while looking at the girl and then suddenly girl turns her face towards my direction and I can't believe my eyes that it's keerti.

"At work....why do you asked? Is everything fine at home?" She said.

Why she lied. She is in New York all the time and she lied all of us that she went to Europe for work.

"Bhabhi..bhabhi.. I am busy..I'll call you later." She hung up before I could reply her.

"Yeah...Okay. " I whisper while looking at keerti.

"Preeti beta..Did you find vanilla essences." Mom asked me.

Maybe I am over thinking. Maybe she came today itself and called James to puck her. Maybe she wants to give surprise to Siddharth. I should not think like that about her.

Yeah..she wants to surprise Siddharth that's why she lied to me.

"Yeah Mom.." I immediately grab the vanilla essences and we both walked outside the store after billing.

"Wooo..." Nick opened the champion bottle when Siddharth cut the cake and fed me it's first bite then mom and Dad.

Siddharth didn't want a big party just family members and his friends.

Siddharth turn to Nick to feed the cake.

"First drink it." Nick said while putting the champion bottle on Siddharth's mouth and make him drink half of it.

Siddharth took the bottle from Nick's hand and then make him drink it until it's last drop. Everyone laughed on both of them.

"Where is James..?" Nick asked to Siddharth.

"He is in Texas for some work. But he wish me already." Siddharth said while licking the whipping cream from his fingers and then wiped his hands from tissue.

He really loves cake. Just opposite of me.

Keerti didn't come home nor James. But they both wished Siddharth on phone. I called keerti again at evening when I didn't saw her and she said same what she said to me yesterday but bit annoyingly this time.

I walked to kitchen to serve dinner to everyone.

"Wait Preeti I'll help you." Emily said.

"No it's fine..dinner is ready. You sit with everyone. Nancy will help me." I said her with smile.

"Don't get formal with me. I am your friend so let me help you." She said while walking with me to the kitchen.

"You take these I'll bring the rest." I said while giving her a bowel of rice.

"You sure..." she asked.

"Yeah..." I said while nodding my head as yes.

I don't  know why keerti lied. If she is with James she should don't lie about that and James should have shown some maturity and make her understand that what they both are doing is wrong. If they both are in relationship then they should have talk to Siddharth. I want to tell Siddharth but at the same time I don't want break keerthi's trust.

If they can't tell Siddharth directly then keerti should have told me and I will help her to talk to Siddharth in this matter. But if they keep hiding things from him, he will be hurt and god knows what will he do then.

I am also hurting him by keeping this thing from him.

Suddenly my phone started ringing and it was from mummy. I immediately picked it up when mummy is doing facetime.

"Girl you looked thin. Are you not eating anything? " That was the mummy's first question when I picked her call.

"Yeah..you are right. She looked weak." Papa said while looking at me through the phone screen.

"Mummy papa..I am fine. I am not feeling well for few days because  the weather here so it affects my health. Anshul prescribed me some medicines and I am feeling better than before." I know it's a lie but not complete.

It's a partially true that I am better than before but I still face the nausea feeling and fever. But I feel batter after taking medicines and I don't want to make my parents worried.

"Okey but where is our son in law. We want to wish him birthday." Papa asked.

Suddenly two arms encircled around my waist and I know my hubby is just standing behind me.

"Hey..love.." he said while nuzzling into the crook of my neck and started preparing kisses on my shoulder.

"Siddharth...mummy papa wants to wish you." I nervously said while elbowing him lightly to get his attention.

"What..." His arms immediately left my waist and he stood straight.

"Go..good evening...I mean Namaste mummy-papa." He stammered and wish greet mummy papa nervously.

"It's okey son. I can understand. It was difficult for you to stay away for my daughter. You both are new wedded. No need to be nervous. It happens." Papa teas Siddharth and we both turned into beetroot shade when mummy and papa looked at us mischievously.

"Stop teasing them Ramesh. Look, they both turn red." Mummy scolded Papa.

Siddharth and I both looked at them with our blushing face. After we both kissed in front of everyone at Neha's wedding, no one leaves a chance to tease us. Not even elders and we both turned red whenever they teased us.

"Happy Birthday son. May all your wishes comes true and you live more hundred years." Mummy-Papa both wished Siddharth.

"Thankyou.." Siddharth said shyly. He looked damn cuet when he blushed. 

It's rare when he turned red and especially when he caught romancing  with me in front of elders, it's worth to seen his red ears and neck. That time I just want to kiss him passionately.

"Okey..you both enjoy the party. We will talk later." Mummy said while waving her hand as bye and hang up.

"Papa is no less. He always tease me about you." He said while sighing. I chuckled and shake my head in amusement. He always complains me about that.

"Come..everyone is waiting for us." I said while picking the bowl of curry from counter and we both walked to outside from kitchen.

Dad gifted Siddharth new sports car which he alway wanted and worth fortune. Nick gifted him a new contract in Asia which he was working hard to get. In short everyone showered him with lots of expensive gifts except me. I didn't give him his gift yet but I am little nervous to give that to him. My gift wasn't expensive like everyone but I endure pain to get that.

I hope he like my gift.

After dinner everyone left to their home and Siddharth and I came to our room.

I was standing in front of mirror looking at my reflection and feeling little nervous, I don't know why.

May be because I am nervous that he won't like my gift. He didn't ask me for his gift but I know he was expecting it. It doesn't matter how expensive or cheap it is but It is his first birthday with me and I really want to give him something special which he remember all his life.

Suddenly two arms encircled my waist and pulled me closer to him.

"Thinking about your handsome husband?" Siddharth asked me while resting his chin on my shoulder.

I chuckled softly and turn to face him.  Igrab  his chin and turn his right cheek to me.

"Happy birthday my love." I said while packing on his cheek.

"You wished me hundred times since morning." He said while pulling me to him by my waist.

His one hand his at my lower bare back and another one was playing with the hook of my saree blouse.

"Because I love to wish you again and again." I said while encircling my arms around his neck.

He chuckled softly and leaned his face closer to me.

"Then where is my birthday gift?" He whispered huskily while looking into my eyes playfully.

"Siddharth..my gift isn't expensive like everyone but..."

He cut me in mid sentence and said, "I don't care if it's expensive or not. I already have you in my life, as a best gift and I don't want anything."

I looked at him with all my love. How can someone love someone so much. Tears welled up in my eyes looking at his love in his eyes for me. I always want a husband who gave me respect and love but Siddharth gave me his everything, not just love but his soul, spirit everything. My name is written in his every breath and his heart is beats only for me.

"I know..but I have something for you." I said with sniff while controlling my tears. I don't want to ruin this moment with my stupid tears.

"What...?" He whispered while caressing my cheeks lovingly.

I slowly turned to the mirror in his arms and looked at him through the mirror.

"Remove my hair from my nape. " I whispered looking at him through mirror.

He looked at me intensely and then slowly remove my hair from my neck and put them on my left shoulder.

"Preeti..."  He whispered and looked at me with love and so much emotions. I lowered my eyelids when I can't afford look in his love fill eyes more.

I inked his name at the nape of my neck. I always wanted to inked his name on my body like him.

"This is the most beautiful gift I had ever received on my birthday." He whispered while looking at his name on my nape of neck.

I gasped when he traced his name with his finger pads on my neck. It still paining but not like first day.

"Is it paining." He whispered while looking at me through the mirror.

I slowly shake my head as no. I lost my voice whenever he looked at me with such intense love.

A jolt of electric spark passing through my whole body when his lips replaced his fingers on my tattoo.

I moaned and and arc my back when he started giving love kisses on his name on my body.

He slowly make me turn to him by my shoulder and pulled me to him by cupping the nape of my neck. I gasped and moan when his lips met mine in a love kiss. It wasn't  a passionate kiss or lust one. He kissed me slowly and lovingly like he was pouring his all love in this kiss. I pulled him closer to me by his waist and response his kiss by kissing him back with much care and love.

After pulling back from the kiss he bent down and scooped me in his arms in a bridal style. He looked at me with so much love and care that I was shivering under his gaze and he turns our night with full of pleasure and love. Only my moans and his grunts our fill in our room. That night he make love me like he finds his hidden treasure and explore every inch of my body by his lips.
