The cavern of mysteries

After the incidents at the unofficial gym of aj the gang headed off towards their journey while aj was left to rebuild his gym

"man what a day it was right?" asked red looking towards ash

"yea I gotta agree im so hungry now" as if on cue his stomach grumbled like a roar of a monster

"well I think its wise to camp somewhere near here" suggested ryoto looking for a place to camp

They soon found a place to camp and brock immediately got to cooking,misty went to look for a pond to release her pokemon,ash and red were just laying there not moving due to hunger

Ryoto was standing there with a serious look

"come on u two get up,there is no need to over react" commanded ryoto as they both got up and dusted themselves

"whats the matter ryoto,u seem serious" asked red

"its nothing to worry about"said ryoto with a calming smile which convinced them but not brock who overheard the conversation

(its definitely something to worry about) ryoto thought grimly looking off into the distance

Soon the food was finished and misty had returned as well

They all finished their food and decided to camp there for the night

Soon the night had passed but not without explosions on the other side of the camping site

"hey get to working rhyhorn,boss wont like it if u slow down" said a man while hitting the rhyhorn

"u too rhydon u better not slow down" said another guy while whipping the rhydon with a whip with blades

Rhydon howled in pain and thrusted his horn into the ground correctly at the break of dawn

A hollow sound echoed

They found the cave they have been looking to enter

At the very moment the gateway was collapsed

Ryoto jolted awake

"was that....no,there is no doubt,IT is the vishap energy along with large amounts of ground and rock aura"thought to himself ryoto quietly

"there is no way he awakened....." ryoto said with widened eyes

With the gang on the way:-

"yo ryoto whats the matter u seem disturbed" asked brock concerned for his friend

"yea don't worry brock its nothing lets just keep moving" said ryoto with an unsure smile

They walked in the path and came across a dead end

But wait it looks like it was just covered

"something is wrong with these boulders" said ash suspiciously

"we all can see that ash" said misty with a bit of anger

Ryoto punched the boulders with some force and shattered them

"as I thought,they were covering an entrance to a cave" said ryoto thoughtfully

"woah dude that's some physical strength" said brock in amazement with misty nodding in shock

Ryoto was about to answer back

"INTRUDERS THAT'S WHERE U STOP" said a guy in a black suit before taking out an advanced tech black gun with green energy surging from it

He was about to fire at them

But suddenly bubbles emerged from the back and encased the gang protecting them and the bullets bounced off the bubbles

A figure dashed towards the guard and sliced him in half with a black flaming sword

He jumped back towards the gang

Suddenly more grunts appeared and the sword shifted into a bow

"u guys just don't learn do u" the figure said as he pulled back the string as arrows made out of black lightning appeared and he shot them at the grunt

The second they were hit they evaporated

More appeared as the figure just clicked his tongue as the now flaming bow shifted into a brown soil claymore with ghostly howls and he charged at them smashing their heads and sucking the souls out of them

{Imagine the yellow part is blue}
Many more came with guns blazing

The figure quickly extended his arm as a black circle formed on his palm it had a pentagon in the middle

"hear my call the darkness present in the world and answer me,lunar light"he said as black substance formed at the circle and a black light burst from the circle blinding them and he took the opening and took out the metal handle and formed a chakram with wind sucking the tiny rocks from the ground and threw it at the middle of the grunts

A blackhole formed there and sucked the grunts leaving their weapons

He jumped over the blackhole and a handle was shot out of the blackhole and a trident made out of red liquid with the handle and he threw it at the grunts coming from the cave

It killed 3 of them but some more were left

He landed beside the trident and took the handle as the liquid dissipated and katana with white flames formed

He used one of the grunts as a wall and back flipped and kicked the 2 grunts away but all 3 were suddenly to his extended arm and he got a clean sweep chopping 3 of their heads in one slash

He landed kneeling down

He got up and formed a circle with his left palm on his waist and slashed the katana and slowly put it through the circle formed by his palm as the katana and handle disappeared

All the gang were amazed by the display of power not caring for the people who were just killed

Well...only one who should care is misty

"that should do it,I don't sense any more approaching" the figure turned towards the gang

"KURAMA/WEIRD ORANGE HAIRED GUY" shouted everyone except ryoto

"u r back early kurama" said ryoto with a smile

"bish what do u mean early?I've been there for 10 years thanks to the blue lizard I was able to come back in a week" kurama said undoing the bubbles and fist-bumping ryoto

"i thought u said u werent coming back for a month" asked ash in confusion

"yea change of plans haha" kurama said with a nervous laugh

"dude your whole look changed even your eye colour wait how did your eye colour change" comented/asked brock

"yea ive noticed that too" said ryoto closely observing the eyes

Kurama jumped back immediately as a shiver ran down his spine

"jeez man don't do that,they r just some contacts,I have to wear them for a reason" said kurama weirded out

"and u r woman from viridian city my name is not weird orange haired guy u understand" kurama told misty with anger which scared the poor(not poor) girl

"ah I wanted to apologise,sorry" said misty shyly hiding behind brock's back

Everyone just said "damn"

"ryoto,I take it u felt that too" kurama said with a serious look on his face looking at the entrance of the cave

"yea,the huge ground,rock and vishap energy,no doubt its him" said ryoto seriously

"well then I guess that geo god hid the plate here?" suggested kurama getting a nod from ryoto as he sighed

"just when I get back,ryoto come on we gotta find it before they do" said kurama getting ready to dash

"hey wait a minute what do u both mean" asked brock blocking their way

"move brock this isnt the time for u to interfere" said kurama coldly

"either u take us with u and explain or we block your path" ash and red followed suite and blocked their path

Kurama and ryoto sighed simultaneously

"listen u 3,even if u block my path u know I can just get past u right?" said kurama with a sigh

"u cant" said the twins simultaneously as a barrier got casted on the entrance by them

"damn it fine" said an annoyed kurama motioning ryoto to tell them the story

"well u see this started long ago,way way long back..."ryoto started the story

Cue the epic cutscenes of a game

"there was once a land that fell upon from the sky,the land was barren with few plants,the only ones who were there the vishaps,the ancient civilization of dragon creatures having control over different elements and some species even having more than one,when the land fell upon our world,it came with a god and the vishaps

The god was the primordial one,the one to put an end to the rule of vishaps,killing them,sealing them away in various parts of the world,the primordial one had the idea of making the land become green and suitable for any humans residing on it,he used most of his godly powers to cultivate the whole land and make the land become green like our kanto region,people soon began inhabiting the island and started worshipping him as their god, the primordial one was nearing his end due to the over exhaustion of his powers,at the one of his time,he split his powers among the humans worshipping him thus making them as gods as well,after his passing the gods were all fighting over who should take his place and in turn decided to divide it into 7 regions,the gods were settled in their regions but then came the question of who will rule the regions

Then each of the region waged war on another and thus began the war for power,it was a bloody war,many gods were killed,many were sealed off in the end 7 gods remained.....the position given to them were the archons and thus ended the archon war and the story of teyvat"

[ok bruh ik what yall gonna say shush now lmao u'll see even more]

All the gang except the 2 only could be amazed by the story

"so where is that land now...?"asked brock out of curiosity

"the thing is no one knows where teyvat is" said kurama looking straight at brock

"i see...so basically we r fighting one of the vishaps?" asked brock

"yes and no,the only fighting that thing will be me and kurama,we arent putting yall in danger"said ryoto gently pushing at the 3 blocking the path and placing his hand on the barrier and shattering it

"w-what?!" screamed the twins in shock

"u 4 better stay out of radius even if u want to live,this vishap was the one raised by the geo archon,he controls the land near him" said kurama coldly which made them gulp and nod their heads quickly

"good,don't engage anyone of anything in a fight" added ryoto before following kurama into the cave

The others followed them quickly into cave

They were amazed by the amount of glowing stones and ores

"there r many ores,magical crystals,jades,lapis all these can be used to forge weapons,unless anyone has the will to forge and wield a weapon to kill someone,don't even touch the ores" kurama told them seriously without even looking at them and kept moving forward

The 4 were hesitant at first but ash and red picked up a silver and yellow ores each

"noticulous jade and cor lapis I see,good choice" ryoto applauded the twins' choice of ores

The earth suddenly started to shake as two small creatures the size of a human covered in rocky armor popped out of the ground and rolled into a wheel and charged at the group

Kurama's eyes widened as he recognised the

creatures his black balls appeared on the back of kurama and as he swiped his hand a barrier formed and summoned his weapon

"element infusion hydro,inferno breathing first form 2nd technique divine storm" kurama said as he split the staff in two swords as one side of each was infused with blue energy and the other side was infused with red flames

Kurama jumped forward and slashed the two creatures and they got covered in intense water and red flame infused tornado which burnt them to ashes

Another one darted out of the ground and attacked the other 4 which causing injuries

It rushed back inside the tunnel

Kurama was quick to seal that tunnel up

"r u guys alright?" misty and brock had injuries on their limbs and chest respectively

Ash received a major damage to gut while red was hit on the head

"do we look alright to u?" misty said angrily while trying to stand up with her wobbly injured legs

"tch we cant stay here much longer,ryoto do u know any high grade healing magic?" kurama asked in a hurry

"no damnit" ryoto said looking around

"tch alright this is the only way now" kurama says stretching his arms towards misty's legs as his hands got covered in red goo like structure with black stripes

he touched her legs and hands and they covered in the goo

He did the same with brock and his check and legs were covered in the same goo

Ash's and red's wounds were healing at a rapid pace but they cant run with their wounds

"ash and red climb on our backs we have to run" ryoto said as he and kurama crouched down

Both of them reluctantly got on their backs and the goo transformed into a stiff leg

"car make them run along side us we wont run at those speeds" kurama said as he got up looking at the transformed goo

"I AM NOT A DAMN CAR" the goo screamed surprising everyone

"NOW" ryoto screamed as kurama and he ran off at high speeds

Brock and misty's legs started moving on their own

"move u damn idiots" said the goo and started to make them run at tremendous speed

An ear deafening screech/roar was heard from the place they were at

"what the hell was that?!?" screamed misty shaken from the roar

"im guessing that was a fully developed geovishap" said kurama while running

"geovishap?" said the group simultaneously

"geovishap is one of the type of vishaps we r going to deal with,the one kurama killed were the hatclings"ryoto answered their question while looking for a safe ground to rest on

"THOSE WERE JUST HATCHLINGS?!" screamed the other 4

"yes and now don't scream they might hear u" kurama said stopping at a place

"we r gonna rest here fox?" asked ryoto looking at the rather large opening

"yes dino" kurama replied with a blank expression as he walked into the cavity inside the cave

Black orbs formed behind him

Kurama put a now completely healed ash on a high rock and he covered all the walls by expanding the black orbs

The rest of them walked in and kurama walked towards the opening and placed two tags on the either sides and closed off the cave

"AHHHHHHHHH" misty screamed because of the darkness in the closed cavity

"SOMEONE BRING LIGHT INTO THE THIS ROOM" screamed misty and the echos just made it worse

"JUST SHUT UP WOMAN" screamed kurama shutting her up

"ryoto u brought him?" kurama asked

"no sadly"ryoto sighed in disappointment as he didn't bring one of his pokemon which could in this situation

"wait I got an idea" kurama created an opening on the ground

A green circle formed in his hand

"the one that made us,the great nature's product

I ask thy's permission and use the trees to my advantage" kurama said as a holder made out of wood grew out of the ground and kurama's eyes widened and hequickly broke it off and closed the opening quickly

"that was close"kurama said as he sighed in relief

"what do u mean by tha-" brock was cut off by a loud roar outside of the cavity

"i see..." brock said shook from the large roar

"how come it didn't notice the opening?" asked red confused

"i put a genjutsu tag,who ever passes through the pathway cant see the opening and if someone tears it then they can,but really no use because it will explode if someone tears it" kurama explained as he fixed the holder on the ceiling

"wait kurama where r u?" asked ash confused after not being able to find him

"im on the ceiling fixing this damn holder" kurama said and put the holder and sticked it to the ceiling with some red sticky stuff

"oi brock and ryoto do we have anything to eat?" questioned kurama as he stretched out both of his arms

"nope,we have to make it now" answered brock with a sweatdrop

"welp guess I gotta do it again" kurama sighed

A white circle formed on his palm and he pulled the hand backward

A white ball formed on the other hand

"i ask thy's permission to let me mould the light that gave us vision to give us vision once again" spoke kurama light began to flow out of circle and into the ball and it grew larger

He place the ball of light on the holder and the vines of trees held it in place the ball began to glow brightly and lit the room

Kurama jumped down from the ceiling and landed on the ground beside them perfectly

Everyone were amazed except ryoto

"good job fox"ryoto said with thumbsup

"thanks..." kurama said with an expressionless less face

An opening again appeared and kurama performed a few hand signs and a tree grew out of the ground

Ryoto's hand turned into a blade and quickly sliced the tree off and kurama closed the opening off

"woah?!?" brock and misty screamed in amazement

Ryoto quickly chopped the tree into small chunks

One of the chunks got sliced into sticks and kurama lit the bunch of sticks on fire

"u can cook on it brock" said kurama as the fire disappeared and the blades on ryoto's hands retraced

"btw car is the healing process over?" kurama asked looking at the two

"FOR THE LAST TIME DON'T CALL ME CAR and yes to answer your question yes"screamed the goo as it liquified and went to kurama

It went through his skin and entered his body

"woah what is that anyway"asked ash in amazement

"he is just an old friend,he increases my physical abilities and healing abilities but he can be a little aggressive" kurama replied with a sweat smile

Ryoto also sweatdropped at this

Brock and misty were completely healed and now brock was taking out his equipment to cook

"you know....I've been wondering,who- no what r u both actually" asked misty seriously looking the orange and blue haired boys

"we r...just some strong people wanting to preserve the peace here and in other places" said kurama and ryoto with slight smile and fistbumping each other

"ok..? but what is that circle stuff? Is it magic?" asked misty

"precisely,those r magic caused by mana"answered ryoto

"ok- WAIT WHAT?" misty screamed choking on air

"yea I know your next question,mana is an energy for magic spells" kurama answered her question to which she just nodded and didn't pry further

"hey brock can u prepare some fire type food with this added and some food for foxes?" asked kurama throwing a bag of white dust

"sure but why the fox food and what is this white dust?" asked brock

"thats stardust containing the essence of light and u'll see why I need the fox food" kurama said while taking out some bowls and cans

He stood up and a portal opened infront of him

He screamed into the portal calling for something

Kurama fell back down with some creature on top of his licking his face as the portal closed off

"hey there buddy missed me that much?" kurama asked while laughing

The creature just barked and licked him again

Kurama took the little creature in his hands

"what is it bro? Why is it looking like noburo?" asked ryoto with confusion and curiosity

"well this little guy is my new pet and he is-" kurama got cut off as a pokeball opened up to release noburo

"he is my son" answered noburo who just released himself

The little creature jumped out of kurama's arms and went to noburo and rubbed against his legs

"......since when did kyutshiroi started to breed...." ryoto asked with a blank expression without any emotion

"technically they arent related but the thing,noburo here started to take care of a fox baby before I caught him,noburo suddenly got worried about something so I took him to his cave and that's where I found this little fox kid,due to the aura released by noburo since when the fox was young,his genetics got easily influenced due to both being fox as well and now the fox kid looks like noburo" explained kurama the relationship between the two foxes

"i see damn,whats the name of the kid" asked ryoto amazed at the fact

"well....turns out noburo here is the same as us.....

He is bad at naming-" told kurama with a sweatdrop

Hearing this both noburo and ryoto sweatdropped

"oh that reminds me" ryoto said as he quickly rummaged through his bag and took out a large egg

"oi ryoto whats the egg? Its not a pokemon egg from what I can see" asked kurama looking at the large egg in his hand

"im not sure,I found it during the excavation of an ice cage surrounded by a weird reptile"ryoto said

On the queue the egg started to shake

Their eyes widened

"quick get a towel and something soft" shouted ryoto

Kurama used kamui to teleport to his dimension and brought a pillow and a towel and handed them to ryoto

Kurama arranged the pillow and ryoto wrapped a towel around the egg gently covering the egg and placed it on the pillow

The egg started to shake violently and at one point it stopped

A cracked appeared on the egg as all of them got excited

Soon a cute head popped out of the egg as it gave off a little cute cry

"its face looks like the repltile I found in the ice cave"ryoto said in amazement as the creature came out of the egg

"wait a minute"brock said as he observed the creature and took out his book and started turning pages

His eyes widened(he opened his eyes) as he realized what creature it was

"ITS A-................"
