Tevinblair: As the mystery of the connection between Mewtwo and Dr. Fuji deepens with the full reveal that Mr. Fuji along with the help from other researchers is the one who created Mewtwo and raised him as his own child, the motivations & reasons behind Mewtwo's actions back in the Mewtwo Strikes Back movie chapter and possibly the biggest surprise to the gang is that the Cinnabar Gym Leader, Blaine is also seemingly connected to Mr. Fuji along with possibly the creation of Mewtwo as well. With the information from Jessie and James, the diary and of course the information that they've gotten from Blaine, it does beg the question: When will all of this revealed to Mewtwo himself? Now I know what all of you are thinking that answer is obviously Mewtwo Returns and you could be right unless something else happens before that happens. *Grins* By the way, I'm surprised that nobody considered the fact that with Eevee learning VeeVee Volley it would likely lead to one other thing: That Pikachu won't be far behind with getting his special move soon enough. FYI, this review was made a couple of days ago but I couldn't release it because of technical issues from Fanfiction in case you're wondering about that one. I'm glad to see people loved the previous chapter as well as seeing some of the stuff that has been planned out for the Indigo League and the resolution of the mystery behind Mewtwo's past with the information that Blaine provided including his connection to Mewtwo. Is everyone excited for the Fated Battle Between Father and Son? I know I am. Also, I didn't see a lot of mention about the name for the Pokemon Journeys story so I might as well ask this question: What did you think about the name that me, Morpho and JurassicDinoDrew came up with? Does it work with everyone here?

Wartortle & Blastoise

The gang were waiting for a ferry, until Ash felt something shaking in his Poké Ball belt.

"Huh?" Ash said as he pulled out one of his Poké Balls & his Blastoise came out

"Blast." Blastoise as he looked around

"What are you doing out, Blastoise?" Ash asked

"Blast." Blastoise said as he went into the ocean

"What is Blastoise doing, Ash?" Brock asked

"Wait a minute, I think Blastoise senses a Mega Stone calling out to him." Ash said

"I think Ash is right, the same thing happened to his Beedrill." Serena said

The gang got on Blastoise's back, rode across the sea, & arrived at an island. At the island, they saw multiple Squirtle & Wartortle.

"Wow, look at all the Squirtle & Wartortle." Serena said in amazement

"This must be Squirtle Island." Brock said, but then his Squirtle came out of his Poké Ball.

"Squirtle Squirtle." Brock's Squirtle said as he walked up to the other Squirtle & Wartortle

"Squirtle."

"Squirtle Squirtle." A wild Squirtle greeted

"Wartortle." A wild Wartortle greeted

"Looks like your Squirtle has made some new friends, Brock." Serena said

Then suddenly Brock's Squirtle glowed bluish white & evolved into Wartortle

"Brock, your Squirtle evolved into Wartortle." Ash said

"Alright, Congratulations Wartortle." Brock congratulated

"Wartortle." Brock's Wartortle said

The gang followed Blastoise until they stopped at a cave

"Is the Mega Stone inside the cave?" Ash asked

"Blast." Blastoise nodded

"Ok, we'll take it from here, Blastoise. Return." Ash said as he returned Blastoise

"You too, Wartortle." Brock said as he returned Wartortle

They entered the cave & saw two Mega Stones on a pedestal, when they were about to go near it,

"Blast!" A voice boomed

"What was that?" Ash said as a wild Blastoise appeared

"It's a wild Blastoise." Ash said

"You know what to do, Ash." Serena said

"Right, Ivysaur, I choose you!" Ash said as he sent out his Ivysaur

"Ivysaur." Ivysaur said

"Alright, use Leech Seed." Ash said. Ivysaur fired several seeds from his bud into the ground around Blastoise. Then the seeds immediately grew into vines, latched onto Blastoise, but it went into its shell, spun at fast speed, & broke free of the vines.

"Use Take Down."

Ivysaur became surrounded by a golden force field, Blastoise became surrounded by silver aura & both Pokémon clashed into each other, causing an explosion & both skidded back.

"Use Energy Ball."

Ivysaur fired an orb of light green energy from his mouth & hit Blastoise. Blastoise fired a powerful blast of water from its mouth & hit Ivysaur.

"Use Vine Whip."

Ivysaur released two vines from its bud & grabbed Blastoise with them, but Blastoise used Rapid Spin & swung Ivysaur around, causing him to let go & fly into a wall.

"Use Nature Power."

"Ivy!" Ivysaur said as he summoned large gray stones above Blastoise & traps it

"Now, Solar Beam." Ash said. Ivysaur's bud glowed faint yellow & fired a yellow beam of energy & hit Blastoise.

Blastoise fired a light blue beams of ice from its mouth & hit Ivysaur which caused him to become frozen.

"Ah!" Ash gasped

"It used Ice Beam." Brock said shockingly

Then Blastoise fired white & light blue beams of energy from its cannons & hit Ivysaur which caused him to break free of the ice.

"Ivysaur, use Synthesis." Ash said.

"Saur!" Ivysaur yelled as he glowed white, became surrounded by white sparkles, & healed himself.

"Now, use Seed Bomb."

Ivysaur fired multiple glowing green explosive seeds from his bud, but Blastoise summon a turquoise force field & protected itself. Then Blastoise jumped into the air & landed on Ivysaur.

"Ivysaur!" Ash cried

Then suddenly a bluish white light shined underneath Blastoise & Ivysaur evolved into Venusaur

"Saur!" He roared as Ash pulled out his Rotom Phone

Ability: Overgrow

Hidden Ability: Chlorophyll

Learned Moves: Double-Edge, Petal Dance, Petal Blizzard, & Power Whip

"Alright, Venusaur, use Petal Blizzard." Ash said. Venusaur released a blizzard of multiple pink petals from its flower which hit & blew Blastoise off of him & caused it to faint.

"Way to go, Venusaur." Ash said as he hugged Venusaur "You were awesome."

"Venusaur." Venusaur smiled

The wild Blastoise let the gang through. When they got to the pedestal, the 2 Mega Stones were clear-colored, with blue & brown S-shaped symbols. Ash pulled out his Rotom Phone.

This item is a Blastoisinite, a Mega Stone that can mega evolve Blastoise into a Mega Blastoise.

"There's two of them Brock, one for you & one for me." Ash said

"Sweet." Brock said

Ash & Brock took the Blastoisinites, & the gang left Squirtle Island

"Congratulations Ash, your Kanto Starter Squad have evolved into their final forms." Serena congratulated

"Thanks Serena." Ash said

"Not only that, our ferry has just arrived." Brock said

The gang got on the ferry, & headed their way to Viridian City, as the journey continues
