Seafoam Islands

The gang, Delia, & Giovanni were at Seafoam Islands. During the past month, The gang had trained their Pokémon & in the process, Ash's Krabby evolved into Kingler, Horsea evolved into Seadra, Haunter evolved into Gengar, & Paras evolved into Parasect. Serena's Gastly evolved into Haunter & Venonat evolved into Venomoth. Brock's second Geodude evolved into Graveler, Wartortle evolved Blastoise, & Diglett evolved into Dugtrio. Ash's parents had invited them to Seafoam Islands for some R&R. They had different clothes on, Ash wore a white shirt with an orange zigzag on the center, blue shorts, with black & white sneakers. Serena wore a pink summer dress with white flower designs & pink flip flops. Brock wore a basketball jersey, red shorts, & black & red sneakers. Giovanni wore a black tank top, black shorts, & Black flip flops & Delia wore an orange strapless dress with pink circles on the chest, a pink belt with a gold buckle, a pink flower, and white frills. She also wore a white coat over her dress, along with a matching sun hat and pink sandals(the outfit from the Alola series)

"Thanks for letting us join you on this day at the beach Mom & Dad." Ash said

"You're welcome, sweetie, you guys have been training hard, so you deserve a break." Delia said as she kissed her son's forehead

When they arrived at the beach

"Eevee! Eevee! Eevee! Eevee!" Eevee jumped up & down with excitement

"Eevee seems very excited to be here." Brock said

"You must really like the beach, don't you Eevee." Serena said

"Eevee Vee Eevee." Eevee said

"She said that she has been to beaches with her brother who went to travel the world by sea before she was partnered with Serena." Meowth translated

"Pika Pika." Pikachu pointed

The gang & Ash's parents saw a tan skinned man with long dark blue hair styled in a ponytail, a mustache, wearing red-orange swim trunks, riding a wave with a Pikachu with blue eyes with wrinkles around them on the front of his surfboard

"Puka, pipeline." The man said

"Pi." Puka said as they made a surf break

"Alright, now shoot the curl." The man said

"Chu." Puka said as they rode the board inside of the wave with the water over their heads

When they went to sand

"All in a day's training, right Puka?" The man said

"Pikachu." Puka said

"Sir, that was amazing." Ash said as he & the others ran up to him

"Really? Well, I'm glad you like what you saw." The man said "The name's Victor, & this is my Pikachu, Puka"

"Pikachu." Puka greeted

"I'm Ash, & these are my partners Pikachu & Meowth" Ash said

"I'm Serena, & these are my partners Eevee & Togepi." Serena said

"I'm Brock." Brock said

"I'm Delia, this my partner Mimey, my husband Giovanni, & his partner Persian." Delia introduced

"It's nice to meet you all." Victor said as he turned to Ash "You said your name was Ash, right?"

"Yes, sir." Ash said

"Professor Oak called me & said that your Pikachu knew the move Pika Papow." Victor said "I understand that you want your Pikachu to learn Zippy Zap, Splishy Splash, & Floaty Fall."

"Yes sir, will you please help my Pikachu learn those Moves?" Ash asked

"Of course, it's plain & simple." Victor said

Puka got close to Pikachu, then Puka got surrounded by white aura & a yellow ball of light, a blue ball of light, & light purple ball of light emerged from him & merged into Pikachu. Then Ash's Rotom phone buzzed

Your Pikachu has learned Zippy Zap, Splishy Splash, & Floaty Fall

Zippy Zap always goes first and results in a critical hit.

Splishy Splash leaves the opponent Pokémon with paralysis

Floaty Fall may make the opponent flinch.

"Thanks Victor." Ash said gratefully

"Hey Victor, can you teach us how to surf?" Brock asked

"Sure, it's been a long time since I taught someone how to surf." Victor said "& while we're at it, we can teach Pikachu the move Surf."

"You mean Puka knows Surf?" Serena asked surprisingly

"Yes." Victor said

"Awesome" Ash said with excitement

A little later, the gang had changed into their swimsuits, Ash wore blue swim trunks, Serena wore a dark pink bikini, & Brock wore an olive green swim trunks with an orange stripe down the side. Victor gave them each a surfboard, Ash got a blue surfboard, Serena got a pink surfboard, & Brock got an orange surfboard. Delia & Giovanni were on lounge chairs watching them. Victor taught the gang how to balance on the board, how to steer, & how to ride the wave. When Victor was teaching Ash how to have Pikachu learn Surf

"Alright Ash, let Puka & I demonstrate the move." Victor said as he swam far away to the ocean "Puka, use Surf."

"Pika." Puka said as he summoned a tidal wave & Victor rode it

"Wow." Ash said in amazement

"Pikachu." Pikachu said in awe as he was sitting on the front end of the surfboard

"Now you try it." Victor said

"Right." Ash said as he swam far away to the ocean "Pikachu, use Surf"

"Pikachu!" Pikachu said as he summoned a tidal wave & Ash rode it

"That didn't take long." Brock said

"It was thanks to Pikachu learning Splishy Splash to get him to learn Surf." Victor said

"So Surf & Splishy Splash are kind of the same?" Brock asked

"Exactly." Victor said

"That move is awesome, don't you think Eevee?" Serena asked as she saw Eevee on the front end of her surfboard glowing blue "Eevee?"

"Eevee!" Eevee said as she summoned a tidal wave underneath her & Serena

"WAAAAAAGH!" Serena yelped surprisingly

"Serena, stand up & remember to keep your balance." Victor called out

"Oh right." Serena said as she slowly stood up on the surfboard, kept her balance & rode the wave.

"Wow, Eevee just learned Surf too?" Meowth said as he was at the front end of Brock's surfboard

"That's not Surf, that's Copycat." Victor said "A move that copy's other Pokémon's attacks."

A little later

"All of you did a great job." Victor praised

"Thank you for teaching us how to surf, Victor." Ash said gratefully

"Yeah, that was really fun." Serena said

"You're Welcome, how about you come over the my house for something to drink." Victor said

"Can we Mom, Dad?" Ash asked his parents

"Sure, I'll even make us something to eat while we're at it." Delia said

While they were at Victor's house eating.

"So Victor, do you live here alone?" Giovanni asked

"Of course not, because Puka lives with me." Victor said

"How long have you had Puka?" Brock asked

"Only 20 years." Victor said

"How did you two meet?" Ash asked

"Puka came to me from the sea. I don't know why or how, but from that day on we never separated." Victor said

"That's quite mysterious." Serena said

"Yes, Puka is one mysterious Pikachu, because he can sense waves in his body." Victor said

"Can your Pikachu really do that?" Ash asked

"Yes, Puka can always sense big waves coming our way & feel how they are gonna break." Victor explained "For 20 year, we surfed every big wave, except Humungadunga."

"Humungadunga?" Serena asked

"A gigantic wave that only hits the island once every 20 years." Victor said

Delia noticed a picture of a younger Victor holding a younger Puka.

"Victor, is this you & Puka?" Delia asked

"Yep, that's me 20 years ago." Victor replied "& the picture under it is me 40 years ago."

"Who's the guy in the other picture with you, the one holding the red surfboard?" Brock asked pointing at a tan-skinned man with brown hair, wearing a white shirt with a red J on the left chest area, & blue swim trunks

"That's Jan, the surfing legend." Victor said "40 years ago, he was the first to ride Humungadunga to the top of the big rock. All the surfers wanted to be just like him & he was talented & courageous with a lot of technique & style. I started surfing to be just like him, but I kept wiping out again & again. Jan took me under his wing & taught me all about surfing, he always seemed like he was waiting for something he could tell was coming like he could sense the waves like Puka does. Then one day, Humungadunga finally came, Jan rode Humungadunga, planted a flag on top of the rock & became a surfing legend. He told me I can do it too & handed me his surfboard, then he left to surf the world. 20 years later, I challenged Humungadunga & failed, I was disappointed & never wanted to surf again. Then I met Puka & he found me, then I learned to love surfing all over again. If it weren't for Puka, I don't know what I do or where I'd be."

"That's a great story, Victor." Serena said

Then Giovanni noticed a picture of Victor with Puka on his shoulder, there was also a woman with long blonde wavy hair, wearing a white summer dress, & a teenage boy with spiky light blue hair, wearing an orange shirt, with black white outlines & short blue baggy pants & a Machop

"Victor, who are these two with you & Puka?" Giovanni said as he picked up the picture

"That's my wife & son." Victor said

"Where are they now?" Serena asked

"My wife died 3 years ago & my son is in the Hoenn region." Victor said "that Machop is one of his Pokémon, they loved surfing as much as I do."

But then Victor saw Puka outside the window glowing light blue

"All of you need to leave now." Victor said

"Why? What's wrong?" Ash asked

"Humungadunga is coming & you need to evacuate the beach." Victor said

After the gang & Ash's parents left

"Are you ready to do this Puka?" Victor asked

"Pikachu." Puka said with determination

Later Officer Jenny rounded up the citizens to evacuate the beach.

"Where is he?" Brock said

"I don't see him anywhere." Giovanni said

"Wait, look over there." Serena pointed

They saw Victor riding Humungadunga. Victor rode Humungadunga to the top of the rock, planted his flag on it next to Jan's, & Everyone cheered.

"Congratulations, Victor." Officer Jenny said "You are now officially a surfing legend."

"Thanks Jenny." Victor said

"That was awesome!" A surfer boy exclaimed

"Yeah, you're terrific!" A surfer girl complimented

"Thank you, but remember, you can do it too." Victor said as everyone cheered

Later

"Congratulations Victor." Ash said

"Now that you're a surfing legend, what will you do now?" Serena asked

"I believe Puka & I are gonna travel for a bit & maybe find Jan." Victor said

"Pikachu." Puka agreed

"I hope we see you again someday." Ash said

"Me too, & good luck at the Pokémon League, Ash." Victor said

Now that Victor is a Surfing Legend, the gang head back to Pallet Town.
