Safari Zone

The gang had made it to the Safari Zone.

"Alright, we're here" Brock said

"Awesome, I'm gonna catch so many Pokémon" Ash said with excitement

"This'll be so much fun." Serena said with joy

When they entered the cabin

"Hello, welcome to the Safari Zone, My name is Kaiser." Kaiser greeted as he looked at Ash "You must be Ash."

"How do you know my name?" Ash asked

"My friend Koga told me about you, he called me & said you were coming." Kaiser explained "I assume you're here to catch Pokémon here at the Safari Zone?"

"Yes sir." Ash nodded

Kaiser gave the gang each thirty Safari Balls. The Safari Balls were camouflaged Poké Balls

"Alright, you three. The rules are simple; 1. You are not allowed to weaken a Pokémon with your own, 2. You are only allowed to catch the Pokémon with only the Safari Balls & no other kind of Poké Ball. Understand?" Kaiser said

"Yes sir" Ash said

"Mr. Kaiser, is this you when you were younger?" Serena asked, looking at a picture of a younger Kaiser & a small blue & white serpentine-like Pokémon with white fins on the sides of its head.

"Yep, that's me." Kaiser said

"Who is this Pokémon?" Serena said as she pulled out her Rotom Phone

Dratini, the Dragon Pokémon, a Dragon Type. Dratini's existence was mere rumor until a fisherman finally managed to catch one after fighting it for many long hours. It sheds its skin several times as it grows, & the skin is sometimes used in clothing.

"Dratini are very rare Pokémon." Brock pointed out

"Does this mean there's Dratini in the Safari Zone?" Ash said

"There's no Dratini here!" Kaiser exclaimed nervously as he snatched the picture from Serena

"What's wrong?" Serena said in concern

"Forgive me, it's just that, 30 years ago, when I found Dratini, trainers came to get it. They got many other Pokémon in the process & it nearly destroyed the Safari Zone, since then, trainers were only allowed to use Safari Balls here." Kaiser said

"Oh Kaiser, we're so sorry to hear that" Serena said with empathy

"It's alright." Kaiser said before putting on a fake smile "But hey, what am I doing here bumbling about? Come on, this way.

Kaiser opened the doors to the Safari Zone

"Alright kids, once you used up all the Safari Balls, be sure to come back, ok?" Kaiser said

"Right." The gang said as they entered the Safari Zone

The gang decided to split up & meet back at the gate. About an hour later, the gang met up at the gate

"Hey Ash, did you catch any new Pokémon?" Serena said

"Sure did." Ash said "What Pokémon did you catch, Serena?"

"I caught a Nidorino, a Chansey, a Rhyhorn, a Venonat, a Staryu, a Seel, a Shellder, a Goldeen, a Cubone, & a Tangela"

"That's very good." Ash complimented as he turned to Brock "What about you, Brock."

"Me? I caught a Tauros, 2 Rhyhorn, a Rhydon, a Geodude, a Graveler, an Onix, a Cubone, a Chansey, a Weepinbell, & a Paras" Brock said

"What Pokémon did you catch, Ash?" Serena asked

"I caught a Tauros, a Scyther, a Pinsir, a Paras, a Venonat, a Doduo, a Rhyhorn, an Exeggcute, & a Ponyta." Ash said

"Wow, good for you, Ash" Serena praised

"Well, Boss didn't catch just one Tauros" Meowth said

"What? Ash, how many Tauros did you catch?" Brock asked

"11" Ash replied

"11?" Serena repeated "Ash, what are you gonna do with 11 Tauros?"

"I'm gonna keep one Tauros & trade the other ten to trainers for their Pokémon." Ash said

"Oh, that's understandable." Brock understood

"I also found this when I was captured Pinsir" Ash said as he pulled out a yellow Mega Stone with a light brown, orange, & dark orange s-shaped symbol

"Wow! Another Mega Stone!" Serena gasped with excitement

"Yeah, it's a Pinsirite, it can mega evolve Pinsir into Mega Pinsir" Ash said

When they got back to the cabin

"Ah, I assume everything went well?" Kaiser asked with a smile

The told Kaiser about their captures

"Well, congratulations to you three." Kaiser said

Just then the security alarm made a noise. Kaiser checked the security cameras.

"Someone has intruded Dragon Valley, I have to go" Kaiser said urgently before standing up

"We're coming with you." Ash said

"Yes, we wanna help." Serena said

"Alright, let's go" Kaiser said

Meanwhile the intruders were none other than Team Rocket,

"So this must be where that caretaker saw that Dratini." Cassidy said

"How are we gonna do this?" Butch asked

"Easy." Cassidy said as she pulled out a sort of bomb "This is an Underwater Electric Bomb, once it goes off, all the Pokémon will come out at once"

"Team Rocket." Ash said as Team Rocket turned to the gang

"Well, fancy seeing you here." Butch smirked "No doubt, you're here to catch more Pokémon for yourselves."

"We can say the same to you." Brock said angrily

"No matter, you won't be able to stop us this time." Cassidy said as she toss the bomb into the lake

"Oh no!" Kaiser gasped as he jumped into the water

"Squirtle, I choose you!" Ash said as he sent out his Squirtle

"Squirtle!" Squirtle said as he & Ash jumped into the water

Ash had Squirtle swim Kaiser back up to the surface. Ash swam down at the bottom of the lake, grabbed the bomb & swam back up. He was having trouble holding his breath until something hoisted him up. Back at the surface, the clouds had turned gray, rain started pouring & lightning started flashing. Then a whirlpool appeared, & a big serpent-like Pokémon that looked like a Dratini came out with Ash on its back.

"It's a Dragonair" Brock gasped as Serena pulled out her Rotom Phone

Dragonair, the Dragon Pokémon, a Dragon Type, & the evolved form of Dratini. With the crystalline orbs on its body, Dragonair is rumored to be able to change the weather. Because of this, farmers have long regarded this Pokémon with respect.

"Hey Team Rocket, I believe this belongs to you" Ash called out as he threw the bomb at Team Rocket.

Butch caught the bomb, & when it went off, it sent him & Cassidy blasting off.

Dragonair went towards Kaiser & stared at him. Kaiser recognized Dragonair as the Dratini he met years ago.

"It's you, you've grown up." Kaiser said as he hugged her with tears in their eyes

Then a Gyarados & 5 Dratini came out, they went towards Dragonair, & Gyarados nuzzled her.

"Is this your husband & kids?" Kaiser asked

"Nair" Dragonair nodded as Gyarados cane closer to Kaiser

"Thank you so much for watching over her." Kaiser said gratefully as he pet Gyarados

Later

"Thank you for your help." Kaiser said

"You're welcome." Ash said

"Don't worry, we won't tell anyone about Dragonair & her family." Serena assured

"Your secret is safe with us." Brock said

"Thank you." Kaiser said

As the gang left

"Hey Rotom, where's the next gym?" Ash asked his Rotom Phone

The next gym is in Cinnabar Island

"Alright, seventh gym badge, here I come." Ash said

Hey Everyone, I decided to have Ash catch 11 Tauros, so he can trade 10 of them to others while he keeps one. I'm sorry if you guys thought Ash was gonna get a Dratini in this chapter, but don't worry, he will get a Dratini, trust me. Stay tuned for another chapter, Morpho Out.
