S.S. Anne

The gang came across a ship called the S.S. Anne

"So this is the S.S. Anne?" Ash said in awe

"Mm-hm, it's the one Bill was talking about" Brock said

"Oh yeah, Bill gave us the tickets." Serena said

They turned in their tickets & entered the S.S. Anne. It was filled with trainers, people, & Pokémon.

"Wow, this is amazing" Serena said in awe

"Yeah, it's like a Pokémon convention" Brock said

"Ash" a voice said

Ash turned and saw Gary

"Gary" Ash said in surprise

"How you doing, Ashy-Boy" Gary said before turning to Pikachu "Hi Pikachu, good to see you"

"Pika Pika" Pikachu greeted

"Hey Gary, remember me?" Serena said

"Oh yeah, you're Serena the straw hat girl" Gary said "What are you doing here?"

"I'm here traveling with Ash." Serena said

"Hey Ash, do you two know each other?" Brock asked

"Yeah, we were born from the same town & we're childhood friends & rivals. Gary's the grandson of Professor Oak" Ash said

"Hey Ash, there's something I want to show you" Gary said as he sent out a blue turtle-like Pokémon that looked like a Squirtle

"Wartortle" the Pokémon said

"Wow, your Squirtle evolved" Ash said in amaze as he pulled out his Rotom Phone

Wartortle, the Turtle Pokémon, A Water Type, & the evolved form of Squirtle, the fur on Wartortle's tail darkens with age. Its shell bears the scratches of many battles.

"Pikachu" Pikachu said happily as he greeted Wartortle

"Wartortle" Wartortle smiled

"How about we get something to eat?" Gary said

"Yeah, I want to tell you all about my journey so far." Ash said in excitement

Ash & Gary told each other about their adventures so far, Gary was surprised Ash caught the Kanto Starter set. After they ate, they decided to browse around, Ash was looking around until.

"Psst, Hey kid" A voice said

Ash looked & saw a man waving him over

"Who? Me?" Ash said

"Yeah, come here" the man said

"Yes?" Ash said as he walked up to the man's stall

"Are you a trainer?" The man asked before Ash nodded "Then how would you like another Pokémon to your team"

"What kind of Pokémon" Ash asked

"This one" the man said as he pointed down

Ash looked down & saw a red fish-like Pokémon

"A Magikarp" Ash said as he pulled out his Rotom Phone

Magikarp, the Fish Pokémon, A Water Type, Margikarp splash about with abandon, leaping recklessly out of water—which leaves them open attack. Though extremely lacking when it comes to battle strength, they exist in huge numbers.

"I'm a certified Magikarp Salesman, I catch & train Magikarp & sell them to trainers, have you caught a Magikarp yet?" The Salesman asked

"No, not yet" Ash said

"Then you're lucky you didn't, because not only this Magikarp knows Tackle, Flail, & Splash, it also knows Hydro Pump & Bounce." The salesman said

"Really?" Ash asked

"Yes, if you check the Pokédex on your Rotom Phone, you'll see. So what do you say?." The salesman said

"I think I'll take it." Ash said with determination "How much is it?"

"P500" The salesman said

Ash gave him the money, the salesman returned Magikarp to its Poké Ball & gave it to Ash.

Known Moves: Splash, Tackle, Flail, Hydro Pump, & Bounce

"Wow, it really does know those moves"

"You see? What did I tell you? I usually sell these for 100, but this Magikarp comes with something extra." The salesman said as he pulled out a dark yellow Mega Stone with blue, red, & purple s-shaped symbol in it

"Is that a Mega Stone?" Ash asked in surprise

"It is, it's a Gyaradosite. I found it washed up at the beach, so once this Magikarp evolves into Gyarados, you can mega evolve it into Mega Gyarados" the salesman said as he gave Ash the Gyaradosite

"Wow, that's awesome. Thanks mister" Ash said

"No problem" the salesman smiled

After that, Ash told Brock & Serena about his new Pokémon Magikarp, they were really surprised.

"Hey Ash, how about a battle?" Gary asked

Ash accepted the battle & he & Gary went to the battlefield & got into battle position

"The battle between Ash Ketchum & Gary Oak of Pallet Town will begin. Each Trainer will use one Pokémon & the battle will be over when either side's Pokémon is unable to continue. Trainers select your Pokémon." The referee announced

"Go Wartortle" Gary said as he sent out his Wartortle

"Wartortle" Wartortle said with determination

"Pikachu, I choose you!" Ash said said as Pikachu stepped into the battlefield

"Pika!" Pikachu said with determination

"Battle begin!" The referee said

ASH VS GARY

"Wartortle, use Rapid Spin" Gary said. Wartortle went into his shell & started spinning while charging at Pikachu

"Counter with Iron Tail" Ash said. Pikachu's tail glowed white & hit Wartortle like a hockey stick hitting a puck.

"Use Bite." Gary said. Wartortle's teeth glowed white, created teeth-like aura & bite down Pikachu

"Use Thunderbolt." Ash said. Pikachu fired a bolt of yellow electricity & hit Wartortle

"Use Skull Bash." Gary said. Wartortle became surrounded by silver aura & charged at Pikachu with its head

"Use Quick Attack" Ash said. Pikachu became surrounded by light blue aura & clashed into Wartortle with quick speed.

"Use Water Pulse" Gary said. Wartortle fired an orb of water from its hands

"Use Electro Ball" Ash said. Pikachu fired a yellow ball of of electricity from his tail

Both Pokémon got hit by each other's attacks

"Use Volt Tackle/Aqua Jet" Ash & Gary both said.

Pikachu became surrounded by golden electricity & charged at Wartortle & Wartortle became surrounded by water & shot himself like a rocket towards Pikachu. Both Pokémon clashed into each other causing an explosion. When the smoke cleared, Pikachu & Wartortle were heavily panting. Several seconds later, they both fainted.

"Both Pokémon are unable to battle, this match is a draw" the referee announced as the crowd applauded

"That was a great battle" Gary said shaking hands with Ash

"Yeah, let's battle again next time." Ash said

"Sure, but I don't plan on losing." Gary said

"Me neither" Ash said

The next day, the S.S. Anne arrived at its destination. The gang bid farewell to Gary & continued their journey.

I know the Magikarp Salesman is a con man in the anime, so I decided to make him a fair & honest man. Yes, the Gyaradosite is real & No, it's not a fake. Stay tuned for more, Morpho Out!
