Prologue

An old man with gray hair, black eyes, wearing a light lilac polo shirt with a white lab coat over, beige pants, & brown loafer appeared in a spotlight on stage

"Hello There, & welcome to the world of Pokémon. My name is Professor Oak, I am also referred to as the professor of Pokémon." Professor Oak said "There are some very interesting creatures that inhabit this world & as you may be aware, they are known the world over quite simply as Pokémon. For some people, Pokémon are pets, while others enjoy using them for battle. We find ourselves coexisting in various stocks."

Oak pulled out a Poké Ball & sent out a small brown fox-like Pokémon

"Eevee!" the Pokémon said as it hopped on Oak's shoulder

"Are you interested in learning about this Pokémon world? Not only that, you're also about to learn a story of dreams & adventures, a story about a boy, a boy whose dream of becoming Pokémon Master & his name is Ash Ketchum. Now, let's get started, the world Pokémon awaits!" Professor Oak said

A boy with black hair, brown eyes, slight tan skin, & two distinctive lightning bolt-like markings on his cheeks was watching TV in his room. This is Ash Ketchum, he's from Pallet Town, he's 10 years old & tomorrow is the day he becomes a Pokémon Trainer, his goal is to become a Pokémon Master. At the Age of 5, he attended Pokémon Academy, where he studied & learned about Pokémon.

"Ash, it's time for bed." A woman with brown eyes, brown hair styled in a ponytail with a green scrunchie, wearing a pink short-sleeved jacket with a yellow undershirt, a purple skirt, and light green shoes said.

That woman is Delia Ketchum, Ash's Mom, she used to be Pokémon Trainer & a model back in the day, she also owns a restaurant called the Pallet House. She taught Ash how to take care of himself, since he'll be going on a Pokémon journey. Delia's Starter Pokémon was a Mime Jr. who is now a Mr. Mime. A few of her Pokémon live there with them.

"Okay, Mom." Ash said

"Are you excited for your first day?" She asked him

"Why wouldn't I be?" he responded

"Well, you should get to bed now" she said with a smile

"Right, Night Mom" He said

"Night, my darling" She said as she turned off the light exit the room

The next day, Ash woke up, got dressed in a black shirt, a blue & white jacket, blue jeans, black yellow shoes with blue shoelaces, & a red & white hat with a green mark in the middle (based on the same hat from the Pokémon I choose you movie). Then he went downstairs, had breakfast, & headed off to Professor Oak's Lab. When he arrived

"Hey." A voice said

Ash turned saw his childhood friend & rival, Gary Oak, who is the grandson of Professor Oak. Ash & Gary greeted each other & entered the lab.

"Well, if it ain't two of my favorite people," Professor Oak greeted them "looks like you're here just in time"

Oak took them to a table with 3 Poké Balls

"Inside these Poké Balls are 3 Pokémon" Oak said "I'll give each of you the opportunity to choose one. On the left, we have Bulbasaur, the Grass Type Starter. In the middle, we have Charmander, the Fire Type Starter. & on the left, we have Squirtle, the Water Type Starter. Now, you may choose the one that you like."

Gary let Ash decide, but he was having trouble.

" Having trouble deciding, my boy?" Oak asked

Ash nodded

"You certainly are your mother's boy. Luckily, I have a fourth option for you." Oak said as he pulled out a Poké Ball with a lightning sticker. The Poké Ball opened a yellow mouse Pokémon with a lightning bolt shaped tail, red cheek pouches, & three brown stripes on its back.

"This is Pikachu, an Electric Type," said Oak as he knelt down & started petting the Pokémon's head " I found this little rascal injured in the forest a while ago. He's usually shy, but can have an electrifying personality."

"Aww, it's so cute. It's the best of all." Ash said as he knelt down to greet Pikachu "Hi Pikachu, my name's Ash, it's nice to meet you."

Ash stuck out his hand, Pikachu looked at it, & sniffed it.

"Cha" Pikachu cooed as he pawed on Ash's hand

So Ash decided to choose Pikachu as his starter & Gary chose Squirtle.

"Here." Oak said as he gave them each a smartphone

"Grandpa, why are you giving us smartphones" Gary asked

" Well, a long time ago, we used to have devices called Pokédexes. You see, the Pokédexes we're getting a bit old fashioned & the other Pokémon Professors & I wanted to take things up a notch. So, we came up with this" Oak explained as he pulled out 2 Poké Balls sent out two Pokémon, " These Pokémon are known as Rotom, they're from the Sinnoh region. Now watch as these Pokémon link into your smartphones"

The Rotom went into the smartphones & took on new forms.

" Once the Rotom goes into your smartphones, they can host a multitude of functions applications, including a Pokédex. We call it the Rotom Phone. Every Trainer, Gym Leader, Elite Four, & Champion has one. It has gotten very popular nowadays." Oak said. " the good thing about Rotom Phones is that you don't have to charge them, having a Rotom in your phone is like having an unlimited battery in it. You can use your Rotom Phones to take pictures of your adventures & achievements & record videos of your Pokémon battles & keep them as mementos. The Pokédex on your Rotom Phone possesses two functions, the first tells you a Pokémon's type & biological data. The second function gives you an overview of all the Pokémon you've caught. With each Pokémon you catch, Your Rotom Phone updates the index. Now are you two ready to start your journeys as Pokémon Trainers?"

"Yeah" Ash & Gary said

When they went outside, they saw Delia & Daisy who is Gary's older sister with the townspeople

" Mom, what's going on out here?" Ash asked

"We came here to wish you two luck on your journeys. We're not the only ones who are here." Delia said

The people of Pallet Town cleared the way Ash & Gary saw three people. These three are known as Red Ketchum, who is Ash's 20-year old brother & the Kanto Champion, Blue Oak, Gary's older brother & Red's friend rival. & Green, Red's girlfriend.

"Red, Blue, Green" Ash said

"Hey, Little brother" Red greeted

"You're here" Ash said

"Of course we are, we wouldn't want to miss your big day" Blue said

"Hey boys, is Leaf here?" Green asked

"No, she's late" Ash replied

"Hey" Leaf said as she ran towards them

Leaf is Green's little sister who is the same age as Ash & Gary. Gary likes to pick on her sometimes

Leaf stopped to catch her breath, "Am I late"

"You darn right, you're late?" Gary said feeling irritated, " This is starting to become a pain in the neck, Spring Leaf. When are you gonna start arriving on time?"

"I'm sowwy, Gare-Bear" she said with puppy dog eyes

"& would you stop calling me Gare-Bear" Gary sweatdropped

Leaf noticed Pikachu & her eyes became hearts.

"Oh my gosh, who is this little one?" she asked

"This is my starter Pokémon, Pikachu" Ash answered

"What a little cutie patootie, yes you are" She cooed as she pinched Pikachu's cheeks.

Pikachu became angry

"Pika CHUUUUUU!" Pikachu said as he shocked her

"AAAAAAAAAGH!" she screamed as Gary laughed while Ash sweatdropped.

"You shouldn't have pinched Pikachu's cheeks like that, Leaf. That's where they store up electricity." Oak pointed out

"Now you tell me" Leaf said before fainting on the ground.

So with Ash's first Pokémon, the journey begins
