Pikachu

The gang were taking a break in a quiet forest. During their journeys, they met a girl named Duplica & her two Ditto & in the process of training, Serena's Nidoran evolved into Nidorina.

"Ah, this certainly is peaceful, isn't it?" Meowth sighed

"Certainly is" Brock agreed

"Hey Ash, since your Squirtle evolved into Wartortle, who do you think is gonna be next? Bulbasaur or Charmander?" Serena asked curiously

"Who knows? We'll just have to wait & see." Ash said

Then Pikachu spotted & went into the bushes

"Huh? Pikachu?" Ash said as he followed Pikachu

The gang followed Pikachu & when they stopped, they saw big horde of Pikachu

"Wow, that's a lot of Pikachus." Serena said in awe

"It's like a Pikachu Paradise." Meowth said

"Pika" Pikachu said a he went up to the horde

The horde saw Pikachu as he stopped & stood in place. The horde stared in silent, then one wild Pikachu went up him & sniffed. Then the wild Pikachu offered its tail in greeting, which Ash's Pikachu took. Then the rest of the horde came & greeted Ash's Pikachu.

"Looks like they've accepted Pikachu as part of their horde." Brock said

"Hey Pikachu." Ash called out

"Pika" Ash's Pikachu said as he came back to Ash before introducing him to the horde.

The horde got close to Ash feeling unsure, a few started sniffing him.

"Pikachu." One Pikachu said offering an apple to Ash

"For me?" Ash asked

"Pika" the Pikachu nodded

"Thanks." Ash said, taking the apple & taking a bite out of it. He felt pressure on his legs, he looked & he saw two Pikachus nuzzling him.

"Aww, I think they like you, Ash." Serena said in adoration

Then several more Pikachus started climbing on Ash & topple him

"Whoa." Ash said, falling back as the Pikachus started licking his face

"Now we know they really like you." Brock laughed

"Oh c'mon, this is too much." Ash laughed

"Y'know, I noticed something." Meowth said

"What's that?" Brock asked

"I saw that the ends of some of the Pikachus' tails are straight like Boss' Pikachu & some of their tails are shaped like hearts." Meowth said

"That's because the Pikachu's tails that are straight are males & the Pikachus with heart-shaped tails are females" Brock explained

"Really?" Meowth said

"Yes, some Pokémon have different appearances due to their genders." Brock said

"Wow, I didn't know that." Meowth said in amazement

"Pika Pika!" One Pikachu called out as Ash stood up

"What?" Ash said

"Pika Pikachu." Pikachu said

"This Pikachu is challenging us to a battle." Meowth said

"Alright, let's do it" Ash said with determination

Ash & the wild Pikachu went into battle position

"You ready Pikachu?" Ash asked his Pikachu

"Pika." Ash's Pikachu nodded

The wild Pikachu charged at Ash's Pikachu with Quick Attack

"You use Quick Attack too." Ash said. Ash's Pikachu became surrounded by light blue aura & clashed into the wild Pikachu quick speed

The wild Pikachu used Double Team

"Use Swift." Ash said. Ash's Pikachu's tail glowed yellow, fired multiple yellow stars & hit the copies & the real wild Pikachu

The wild Pikachu used Electro Ball

"Use Dig." Ash said. Ash's Pikachu spun & dug underground using his tail to avoid the attack.

The wild Pikachu closed its eyes & perked its ears. When Ash's Pikachu came out the wild Pikachu dodged, then it grabbed his tail & slammed him hard on the top ground with Slam.

"Wow, now that's impressive." Ash smiled impressively "Use Thunderbolt."

Ash's Pikachu fired a bolt of yellow electricity & hit the wild Pikachu. Then the wild Pikachu charged at Ash's Pikachu with Volt Tackle.

"Use Volt Tackle as well." Ash said. Ash's Pikachu became surrounded by golden electricity & clashed into the wild Pikachu causing an explosion.

When the smoke cleared, both Pikachu were still standing, then the wild Pikachu fell on one knee & panted heavily

"That's enough, the match is over." Ash said walking up to the wild Pikachu.

"Pika?" The Wild Pikachu looked at Ash confusingly

"I was impressed with how you battled. Here," Ash said, pulling out a Sitrus Berry "eat this, you'll feel much better."

The wild Pikachu ate the berry & thanked Ash & his Pikachu for the battle. That night, the gang were having dinner.

"Those Pikachu were very sweet." Serena said "Hey Ash, do you think this is where Pikachu originally came from?"

"I don't think so." Ash said "I don't think Pikachu has any memory of his real parents, do you Pikachu?"

"Pika" Pikachu shaking his head before the gang heard a noise

The gang went to the source of the noise & they saw a Pikachu punching & kicking a tree

"It's the Pikachu Ash battled." Serena said

"Hey Pikachu." Ash called out

"Pi?" The wild Pikachu said before turning to the gang

"What are you doing here on your own?" Ash asked

"Pika Pika Pikachu." The wild Pikachu explained

"It said it's training to be strong, so it can evolve into Raichu." Meowth translated

"Wow, you sure have a lot of spunk." Ash complimented

"Pikachu." Pikachu agreed

Suddenly they heard a cry for help, when they got to the source of the cry, they saw the horde of Pikachu in a net. They also saw Cassidy & Butch with a helicopter

"Team Rocket" Ash said

"You again? Seriously, how long are you gonna keep following us?" Butch said agitatedly

"Maybe if you wouldn't keep going where we're going, we wouldn't keep meeting each other like this" Serena said

"You shut your trap! You're lucky we're not following you around trying to steal your Pokémon!" Butch yelled

"As much as stealing other people's Pokémon is part of our job, it'll certainly be a waste of time following you brats around." Cassidy pointed out

"Release those Pikachu now." Ash demanded

"You're too late, kid." Cassidy said as the helicopter started taking off

"Guess we have to do this the hard way, go Pikachu!" Ash said

"Eevee, go!" Serena said

"Pika!/Ee!" Pikachu & Eevee said as they stepped forward in battle stance

"Go Raticate" Cassidy said as she sent out her Raticate.

"Go Drowzee." Butch said as he sent out his Drowzee

"Raticate!" Raticate said

"Drowzee." Drowzee said

While they were battling, Meowth snuck past Cassidy & Butch to the net that the Pikachu were captured in. Meowth cut part of the net & the Pikachus came out one by one.

"Drowzee, use Psychic" Butch said. Drowzee's eyes glowed light blue & telekinetically lifted up Pikachu & Eevee in the air.

"Pikachu!" Ash said in worry

"Eevee!" Serena said in worry

Suddenly Drowzee got hit by an Electro Ball. When they looked they saw the Pikachu Ash battled.

"Pika Pika!" The Wild Pikachu called out

"Right." Ash nodded before turning to Serena "Serena let's finish this."

"Ok." Serena nodded in determination

"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt on Raticate." Ash said as Pikachu fired Thunderbolt

"Eevee, use Shadow Ball" Serena said. Eevee fired a black & purple ball of shadow energy from her mouth.

Both moves hit Raticate & Drowzee which caused them to faint.

"Dang it, almost had them" Butch said as they both returned their Pokémon

"No matter, the helicopter already left with the Pikachu." Cassidy said

"Ahem" Meowth cleared his throat

Cassidy & Butch turned & saw Meowth with the Pikachu horde behind him

"Alright, Pikachus, Meowth, let's give them the usual blasting off. Use Thunder Shock & Thunderbolt" Ash said. The Pikachus & Meowth fired Thunderbolt & Thunder Shock at Team Rocket which sent them blasting off.

The next morning.

"Well Pikachus, this is where we say goodbye." Ash said as he turned to his Pikachu "Pikachu, say goodbye to your friends."

"Pika Pi." Pikachu said waving goodbye

"Pika." The Pikachus horde waved back

As the gang were about to leave.

"Pika!" The Pikachu Ash battled called out running towards him.

"Hm? What is it, Pikachu?" Ash said

"Pika Pika." The wild Pikachu said

"You're saying you wanna come along with us?" Ash asked

"Pika" the wild Pikachu nodded

"I think you should capture it, Ash" Serena said

"Yeah, that way you won't have to evolve your Pikachu to get a Raichu." Brock agreed

Ash turned to his Pikachu

"What do you think, Pikachu?" Ash asked "Do you think it should come with us?"

"Pika." Ash's Pikachu nodded

"In that case, Go Poké Ball!" Ash said as he threw a Poké Ball at the wild Pikachu & caught it. "Alright, I caught Pikachu No. 2!"

Ash's second Pikachu's Poké Ball got transferred to the PC

"Pikachu." Another Wild Pikachu said coming towards Ash's Pikachu with a yellow crystal ball

"What's that item?" Ash said pulling out his Rotom Phone

This item is a Light Ball, it boosts the stats of a Pikachu that holds it.

The wild Pikachu gave Ash's Pikachu the Light Ball which he held. The Light Ball formed into a white ball of light & merged into Ash's Pikachu. After that the gang left, as the journey continues.

There you have it, folks. Ash has caught a second Pikachu which he will evolve into a Raichu. Now, I know some of you are against the idea of Ash owning both a Pikachu & a Raichu, but I have read a Fanfic where Ash owns both a Pikachu & a Raichu, & I think there are more Fanfics with that same idea. Jeannot2978 suggested that when one of the group captures a Pokemon, I should list all of the Pokemon that Ash, Serena and Brock have at the end of the chapters, so y'all can keep up with all of their Pokemon. So here.
