P1 Grand Prix

The gang were walking down the outskirts of Fuschia City til they saw a Hitmonchan

"Hey, it's a Hitmonchan" Ash said

"Do you think it's a wild Pokémon?" Serena asked

"I don't know." Ash said "Hey Hitmonchan"

"Chan" Hitmonchan responded

"Where's your trainer?" Ash asked

"I'm right here," A tan skinned muscular man said walking up to them "don't mind us, we were just training"

"Daddy." A young girl said running up to the man

"Hm? Rebecca?" The man said

"Daddy, Please come home, you have to quit Pokémon training & come home with me" Rebecca pleaded

"I'm sorry, sweetheart, but I won't come home until I become champion in the P1 Grand Prix." Rebecca's father said as he turned to the gang "If you wish to see me I'll be at the gym"

Rebecca watched her father & his Hitmonchan run to the gym & sighed

"Is there something wrong?" Brock asked

"Come with me" Rebecca said

Rebecca took the gang to the gym

"Nice place" Meowth complimented

"What's the P1 Grand Prix?" Serena asked looking at a poster

"P1 is short for the Pokémon number one Grand Prix. It's a tournament for Fighting Type Pokémon. Because my father Anthony wants to win the Grand Prix, he's training all the time & ignoring his family. That's why I'm asking you to defeat him in the tournament" Rebecca explained

"So your dad has to be defeated in order for him to come to his senses & go home?" Serena asked

"Yes" Rebecca nodded

"Alright, we'll help you." Ash said

"Oh, Thank you so much" Rebecca said gratefully

Ash let Brock borrow his Hitmonlee & Serena decided to watch. At the tournament

"Ladies & Gentleman, our Fighting Type Pokémon Grand Festival, the P1 Grand Prix, is about to begin. For our first match we have Machop, What Pokémon will Ash use" the announcer said as Ash pulled out his Rotom Phone

Machop, The Superpower Pokémon, A Fighting Type, Exercise is Machop's favorite thing in the world, & its developing muscles reinforce its devotion to working out. It's strong enough to pick up & throw the weight of a hundred people.

"Mankey, I choose you!" Ash said as he sent out his Mankey

"Mankey!" Mankey said as he turned his hat on backwards as

"Machop, use Karate Chop" Machop's trainer said. Machop's hand glowed white & charged at Mankey

"Mankey, use Low Kick" Ash said. Mankey kicked Machop's legs causing it to trip on the floor.

'Machop, use Seismic Toss" Machop's trainer said. Machop grabbed Mankey, jumped high into the air, & threw him out of the ring

"Mankey!" Ash said as he caught Mankey in his arms "Are you alright?"

"Mankey" Mankey nodded

"We're not ready to give up, are we?" Ash said as Mankey shook his head & went back into the ring "Alright Mankey, Use Aerial Ace"

Mankey became surrounded by light blue streaks & tackled Machop with great speed causing it to faint

"Machop is down & out. Mankey wins the battle." The announcer declared as the crowd cheered

"That Mankey's really tough" Anthony said

"Chan" Hitmonchan nodded in agreement

Brock got defeated by a man named Giant & his own Hitmonlee. Ash, Anthony, & Giant defeated their opponents, Anthony was paired up with Giant, & won. In the final match between Ash & Anthony.

"& now for the final match. Mankey, a newcomer who's battled to this last round with outstanding attacks, faces the ferocious handwork of Hitmonchan, the punching fiend. Get ready for a match to remember." The announcer said

ASH VS ANTHONY

"Mankey, use Screech" Ash said

"Mankey!" Mankey screeched as he released red soundwave from his mouth

"Now, use Aerial Ace"

Mankey hit Hitmonchan with Aerial Ace

"Use Counter" Anthony said. Hitmonchan glowed orange & punched Mankey

"Use Mega Kick" Ash said. Mankey's foot became surrounded by red energy & charged at Hitmonchan

"Use Agility" Anthony said. Hitmonchan dodge the attack & ran around the ring & fast speed

"Use Sky Uppercut"

Hitmonlee's fist glowed light blue & uppercutted Mankey into the air

"Now, use Seismic Toss"

Hitmonchan jumped into the air, grabbed Mankey & fell into the ground head first with him

"Are you okay?" Ash asked

"Mankey" Mankey said as he got up

"Then use Cross Chop" Ash said. Mankey's arms glowed white, crossed them in an X formation & charges at Hitmonchan

"Use Focus Punch" Anthony said. Hitmonchan's fist glowed orange & clashed with Mankey

"Close Combat"

Hitmonchan repeatedly punched Mankey at a fast speed & delivered a final punch causing Mankey to stumble back

"Mankey!" Ash called out in worry as Mankey slowly got up

"Mankey!" Mankey yelled as he glowed bluish white

"What an unexpected turn of events, Mankey is evolving" the announcer said

Mankey grew bigger, & shackles appeared on his wrists & ankles. When the light broke apart

"Primeape!" He howled while beating his chest as Ash pulled out his Rotom Phone

Primeape, the Pig Monkey Pokémon, A Fighting Type, & the evolved form of Mankey, Primeape's rage can be so intense that the wild emotions coursing through its body put its own health at risk. Even returning it to its Poké Ball might not be enough to calm it down

Ability: Vital Spirit

Hidden Ability: Defiant

Learned Moves: Close Combat, Stomping Tantrum, & Outrage

"Alright, Primeape, let's try out one of your new moves. Use Outrage" Ash said. Primeape's eyes glowed red, became surrounded in red aura, & repeatedly punched & kicked Hitmonchan. Then with a final blow, Primeape punched Hitmonchan out of the ring causing him to faint

"& it's all over. Primeape defeat Hitmonchan with Outrage. Ash's Primeape wins by a KO & that means Primeape is the new P1 Pokémon Grand Prix Champion." The announcer declared

"You did it, Primeape" Ash cheered as he raised Primeape's arm

"Primeape" Primeape said happily

"You're Primeape has got a lot of natural fighting talent." Anthony complimented

"Thanks Anthony" Ash said

Then Rebecca & her mother approached Anthony

"Daddy, you were amazing out there" Rebecca praised

"Thank you, Rebecca, I'm sorry for neglecting both of you, I didn't realize how unhappy you two had been" Anthony said apologetically

"Dear, no matter what, you'll always be our champion & for making it this far in the tournament, I'll make you the best dinner ever." Anthony's wife said with a sweet smile

"Thanks honey." Anthony said with a smile as he turned to Ash "Kid, I want you to have this"

Anthony gave Ash a Fighting Type TM

"A TM19 containing the move Seismic Toss." Anthony said

"Thanks, I'm just glad your family is back together again" Ash said

Primeape received the P1 Champion belt & the gang continued their journey
