Farfetch'd

After being on the road for a while, the gang decided to take a break in a meadow. Ash had his Psyduck out for some fresh air

"Farfetch'd." A voice said

"Huh? What was that?" Ash said

Out of the bushes came a light brown duck-like Pokémon holding a leek

"Farfetch'd." The Pokémon said as Ash pulled out his Rotom Phone

Farfetch'd, the Wild Duck Pokémon, a Normal & Flying Type. Farfetch'd always carries its trusty plant stalk. Sometimes two of them will fight over a superior stalk

"Farfetch'd." Farfetch'd said as it walked towards Psyduck.

"Psy?" Psyduck said

"Farfetch'd." Farfetch'd said as it twirled its leek, threw it in the air, & captured it. "Far Far."

"Psyduck." Psyduck said as he clapped his hands

"I think Psyduck's made a new friend." Serena smiled

"Farfetch'd." A boy with brown hair wearing a dark red shirt with a light red stripe, green short, & blue sneakers called out "There you are, you can't just run off like that."

"Far." Farfetch'd scoffed as it turned its head the other way

"Come on, let's get going." The boy said as he took a step towards Farfetch'd

"Farfetch'd!" Farfetch'd said as it hit the boy on the head with its leek & went behind Psyduck

"Ow!" The boy yelled in pain

"Are you alright?" Ash asked

"Yeah, I'm fine." The boy said

"Is this your Farfetch'd?" Ash asked

"It is, I'm Keith by the way." Keith said

"I'm Ash, these are my partners, Pikachu, Meowth, & Psyduck." Ash introduced

"I'm Serena, & this is my partner Eevee." Serena introduced

"& I'm Brock." Brock said "Why is your Farfetch'd mad at you."

"Well, I really don't know." Keith said honestly

"Far Far Farfetch'd Far." Farfetch'd said

"Farfetch'd said it's itching for battle but Keith wouldn't let him because he thought Farfetch'd was weak." Meowth translated

"Is that true?" Ash asked

"Yes." Keith sighed

"Has Farfetch'd ever had a battle before?" Serena asked

"Uh...no." Keith admitted

"Then how do you know Farfetch'd is weak when it has never battled?" Serena asked confusingly

"If you think you're Farfetch'd is weak then why didn't you train it?" Brock asked

"Um...You see I—" Keith said before being interrupted

"Far Far Farfetch'd!" Farfetch'd yelled in anger

"Farfetch'd said Keith never bothered to train it." Meowth asked

The gang sweatdropped

"Alright Keith, if you won't let Farfetch'd battle, then we're gonna have to give Farfetch'd a battle?" Ash said

"But—" Keith said

"No buts," Brock interrupted, "you can't neglect your Pokémon's feelings when it's wanting to have a battle."

"You wanna have a battle, Farfetch'd?" Serena asked

"Far! Far! Fetch'd! Fetch'd!" Farfetch'd exclaimed with excitement

"Alright, let's battle." Ash said with determination

Serena & Farfetch'd went into battle position

"Alright, Go Tangela!" Serena said as she sent out her Tangela

"Tang." Tangela said

"Tangela, use Headbutt." Serena said. Tangela charged at Farfetch'd with her head, but Farfetch'd dodge the attack.

"Use Vine Whip."

Tangela released two vines from her body & repeatedly hit Farfetch'd. After getting hit a few times, Farfetch'd dodged the vines & ran around Tangela at fast speed. Then Farfetch'd's leek glowed purple & jabbed Tangela which caused her to faint.

"Wow, that was Poison Jab!" Ash said surprisingly

"I didn't know Farfetch'd knew that move." Keith said dumbfoundedly

"Seriously, when's the last time you checked your Rotom Phone?" Meowth said in outrage as Keith chuckled nervously

"Psyduck!" Psyduck cheered as he went up to Farfetch'd

"Farfetch'd!" Farfetch'd said happily as he high-fived Psyduck

"You see, Keith? Now you know you can't judge your Pokémon By its looks." Brock said

"Alright, now it's my turn to battle Farfetch'd & this time, your gonna battle with Farfetch'd." Ash said to Keith

"Right." Keith nodded

Ash & Keith went into battle position & Keith was looking at his Rotom Phone.

"Alright, I've studied what moves Farfetch'd knows." Keith said putting his Rotom Phone back in his pocket. "I'm ready."

"You ready Psyduck?" Ash asked

"Psy." Psyduck nodded in determination

"How about you, Farfetch'd?" Keith asked

"Far." Farfetch'd nodded

"Alright, battle begin!" Brock said

ASH VS KEITH

"Farfetch'd, use Aerial Ace." Keith said. Farfetch'd became surrounded by light blue streaks & tackled

"Use Zen Headbutt" Ash said. Psyduck became surrounded by a light blue force field & heabutted Farfetch'd

"Razor Leaf." Keith said. Farfetch'd fired multiple green glowing leaves from its leek.

"Use Water Pulse." Ash said. Psyduck fired a blue orb of water from his hands which collided with the Razor Leaf.

"Now, Ice Punch."

Psyduck's fist became surrounded by icy blue aura & charged at Farfetch'd

"Farfetch'd, Feather Dance." Keith said. Farfetch'd flapped its wing & released a shroud of white feathers from them which distracted Psyduck

"Alright, use Poison Jab."

Farfetch'd hit Psyduck with Poison Jab

"Psyduck, are you alright?" Ash asked in concern

"DUUUUUCK!" Psyduck yelled as he glowed bluish white & evolved into a blue duck-like Pokémon with red eyes, a cream-colored beak, & a red gem in the center of its forehead.

"Golduck!" He quacked as Ash pulled out his Rotom Phone

Golduck, the Duck Pokémon, a Water Type, & the evolved form of Psyduck. People used to think they could gain mysterious powers by taking the red orb from Golduck's forehead. It keeps an eye out for underwater Pokémon as it patrols near the edge of its lake home

Ability: Cloud Nine

Hidden Ability: Swift Swim

Learned Moves: Aqua Jet, Hydro Pump, & Psychic

"Awesome, Golduck, use Psychic." Ash said. Golduck's eyes glowed blue & released waves of psychic energy which hit Farfetch'd

"Farfetch'd!" Keith cried

Then suddenly Farfetch'd became surrounded in light blue aura.

"What's that?" Keith said as he pulled out his Rotom Phone

Your Farfetch'd has learned Brave Bird

"Alright!" Keith exclaimed in excitement "Farfetch'd use Brave Bird!"

Farfetch'd flew straight at Golduck

"Use Aqua Jet." Ash said

Golduck became surrounded by water & shot himself like a rocket towards Farfetch'd. Both Pokémon clashed into each other causing an explosion, when the smoke cleared, both Pokémon had fainted.

"Both Pokémon are unable to battle, this match is a draw." Brock declared

"You were great Farfetch'd." Keith said as he picked up Farfetch'd

"Farfetch'd." Farfetch'd said in appreciation

"Farfetch'd, I'm sorry for thinking you were weak & I was wrong. I realize I was being overprotective, will you forgive me?" Keith apologized

"Farfetch'd." Farfetch'd nodded

"Thank you, Farfetch'd." Keith said as he hugged Farfetch'd

Later

"Thank you for battling me & my Farfetch'd." Keith said gratefully "Because of you, you helped Farfetch'd open my eyes & I've definitely learned my lesson. Now I'll be sure to train my Pokémon."

"That's the spirit." Ash smiled

"Golduck." Golduck said as he held out his hand to Farfetch'd

"Far." Farfetch'd said as it shook Golduck's hand

The gang bid farewell to Keith & Farfetch'd as the journey continues.

Hey everyone, I know some of you are surprised that Farfetch'd knows Razor Leaf. But in case you guys forgot or didn't know, Farfetch'd can learn Razor Leaf in Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee. My opinion on Keith was that the reason why he didn't want his Farfetch'd to battle is because he was being overprotective, but that's just my opinion. I was asked if I was gonna make an Ash x Harem story, my answer is no. I've also been thinking about something, should I have Ash catch an Alolan Raichu?
