Ash's First Steps

Ash said goodbye to his family & they wished him luck. Ash stopped at Route 1, & looked at the Pokédex on his Rotom Phone to scan his Pikachu.

Pikachu, The Mouse Pokémon, an Electric Type, Pikachu naturally stores up electricity in its body, & it needs to discharge that energy on a regular basis to maintain good health. To take advantage of this, some have suggested creating a Pikachu-fueled power plant.

Hidden Ability: Lightning Rod

Known Moves: Tail Whip, Thunder Shock, Growl, Quick Attack, Thunder Wave, Double Kick, & Volt Tackle

"Wow, Pikachu" said Ash "You have a good set of moves, you even know your signature Egg Move Volt Tackle."

"Pika" Pikachu smiled

Ash decided to catch a few Pokémon before heading down the rode. He searched until he saw a purple & cream colored mouse-like Pokémon. Ash pulled out his Rotom Phone

Rattata, the Mouse Pokémon, A Normal Type, Rattata's teeth keep growing throughout its life, so it has to chew on hard on hard objects to keep them whittled down. They can live happily even in filthy conditions, which sometimes leads to overpopulation.

"Cool, Ready Pikachu?" Ash asked

"Pika" Pikachu nodded with determination

"Then use Double Kick" Ash said

Pikachu kicked Rattata twice

"Now, Go Poké Ball!" Ash said as he threw a Poké Ball at Rattata & caught it. "Alright, I caught my first Pokémon, Rattata!"

Hidden Ability: Hustle

Known Moves: Tackle, Tail Whip, Quick Attack, Focus Energy, Bite, Pursuit, & Flame Wheel

Ash searched again & found a brown & cream colored bird-like Pokémon. Ash pulled out his Rotom Phone.

Pidgey, the Tiny Bird Pokémon, a Normal & Flying Type, Thanks to Pidgey's excellent sense of direction, it can always find its way home, no matter how far it has traveled.

"Pikachu, use Growl" Ash said

"CHUUUUU!" Pikachu said as he let out a huge growl that distorts the air. Pidgey winced & was caught off guard by the attack.

"Go Poké Ball" said Ash as he threw a Poké Ball at Pidgey & caught it

Known Moves: Tackle, Sand Attack, Gust, Quick Attack, Mirror Move, & Air Cutter

Ash decided to catch one more Pokémon before pressing on, then he saw a brown colored bird-like Pokémon with red wings. Ash pulled out his Rotom Phone

Spearow, the Tiny Bird Pokémon, a Normal & Flying Type, Spearow's wings are too short for effective flying, so they stay on the ground & move about with rapid hops. They drive off so many Bug Types that farmers really like having them around.

"Pikachu use Quick Attack" Ash said

Pikachu became surrounded by light blue aura & tackled Spearow with with quick speed. Spearow became irritated as it flew up & its wings glowed black & hit Pikachu with them at fast speed.

"That was Pursuit" Ash said. "Pikachu use Thunder Shock"

Pikachu fired a shock of yellow electricity & hit Spearow which started falling towards the ground.

"Go Poké Ball" Ash said as he threw a Poké Ball at Spearow & caught it.

Known Moves: Peck, Growl, Leer, Focus Energy, Pursuit, Fury Attack, & Sky Attack

Ask looked at the sky & saw that it was about to rain, so he pressed on to Viridian City. Before it rained, Ash hid under a tree with Pikachu. When the rain stopped, Ash & Pikachu got out of the tree 

"Shaoooh!" A voice screeched

Ash looked & saw a rainbow & big red bird Pokémon flying across it. Then a rainbow colored feather descended from the sky which Ash caught &  took a good look at it

"I wonder what this is." Ash said 

"Pika Pi" Pikachu said

"Maybe Professor Oak will know." Ash said as he put it in his pocket

& there you have it, Ash has caught his first few Pokémon. Morpho out!
