"We finally made it!" Ash shouts as the group walks into Santalune City causing Serena to giggle at his reaction. Kaelyn and Bonnie run ahead and sit on the side of a fountain. "Alright. Now where's the gym?" Ash asks and causes both Clemont and Serena to sigh.

It's been a rough journey, but Ash and the rest arrive after trouble with a couple Pokémon and a Pokémon hunter who seems to have followed Ash and Serena. Through what seemed like an eternity, it's getting close to Ash's first gym battle in the wonderful Kalos Region.

"Daddy just look at a map." Kaelyn tells Ash with a giggle. "That would be easy if we actually had one that zoomed in on a town." Ash says to her with a sigh. "But when we do find it we are gonna win! Right Pikachu?" Ash says scratching the little yellow rodent. "Pika!" Pikachu responds with a determined face.

"You two are just as excited as you were when we travelled Kanto." Serena says shaking her head walking up to the two. "And I can't wait to see you both win." She says rubbing Pikachu's head with one hand and hugging Ash with her other. "Awwwww! Sooooo cute!" Kaelyn and Bonnie shout excitedly.

Then there was a click and a short flash of light. It surprises Ash, Serena, and Pikachu and they look to where it came from. "Oh I'm so sorry if I startled you! I just couldn't pass up that picture perfect moment!" A woman says scratching behind her head.

"I heard you are looking for the Pokémon gym. All you have to do is head a bit down that street and you'll get there." She says before waving and walking off, but not before giving the picture she took to them. "Wow she takes really good pictures." Serena compliments taking a look at the picture.

"How about before we head to the gym lets call home." Ash says earning a smile from Kaelyn. "Yay!" She shouts running off towards the Pokémon center she sees. "Can't we all just slow down!" Clemont shouts as everyone else runs towards the Pokémon center after Kaelyn.

"Now just what were you two thinking!" Delia shouts the moment she answers the call. "That was extremely dangerous and I thought I would lose you! And if you two did leave then who would take care of Kaelyn who adores you two!" She keeps shouting causing Ash and Serena to sigh.

"Nana!" Kaelyn shouts jumping up so Delia sees her. "There's my little Kaelyn!" Delia shouts. "How have you been honey?" "I've been good Nana! Where is other Nana?" Kaelyn asks and then Grace appears on the screen. "Here I am." She says with a soft smile. As Kaelyn talks to Delia and Grace, Ash and Serena sit down waiting for her to finish.

"Is she a talker?" Clemont asks sitting down next to the two. "Like you wouldn't believe. She can spend hours talking to someone." Serena says leaning against Ash. "She seems like a real handful." Clemont responds causing Ash and Serena to laugh softly. "She is. What about Bonnie?" Ash asks him and Clemont sighs.

"She really is. She may be my sister but at times I wonder if she really is. She's so energetic and here I am not being able to run for 5 minutes without getting exhausted." Clemont tells them with a smile. "But she's still my sister. Y'know I'd really like to know what happened the other day." Clemont adds looking at them.

"Right.. with what happened with the Pokémon hunter?" Serena asks and Clemont nods. "Have you ever heard of the prophecy of the greats?" "Well yes. It was a huge thing." Clemont responds. "Well, we are them. We have special aura powers." Ash tells Clemont who looks completely surprised.

"So that's what that was.." Clemont says and stands up. "I'll be back." He says and he disappears out the Pokémon center. "Strange.." Ash and Serena say at the same time. "Mommy! Daddy! Nana wants to talk to you!" Kaelyn shouts. Ash and Serena stand up to meet anger.

"Now you two tell me what you were thinking this instant! What were you two doing on that tower, and Serena how could you be so careless as to fall off, and Ash don't be a hero all the time, and how come neither of you thought to use your powers!" Delia shouts with Grace just sitting down.

"First, calm down mom. Second, we went there to calm the Garchomp. Third, it wasn't her fault, a small piece of the tower fell out from under her. Fourth, did you really expect me not to jump after her. Lastly, we didn't want people to know yet." Ash says returning the quickness that Delia had.

"He has some good points there Delia." Red says walking into the frame. "Hey Dad." Ash says with a smile. "Ash, don't listen to your mother. She is just upset." Red says earning a nod from Ash. "Hey Red have you heard anything about my dad?" Serena asks tilting her head slightly.

"Giovanni is spending a while in prison. It's not as long as it would've been if he hadn't been controlled." Red says and gets a frown from Serena. "It wasn't his fault so why is he going to prison in the first place.." Serena mumbles under her breath. "I'm sure he's fine with it." Red says trying to reassure her.

"Well I'm not fine with it." Serena says with a little anger. "Serena calm down." Grace says finally speaking up. "Maybe if you would have went to say that it wasn't his fault maybe he wouldn't be there." Serena says and she walks away from the screen. Ash sighs and shakes his head when Grace walks away from the couch. Ash hears a door open and shut.

"I'm sorry but I'm going to have to end this call already. I hope both of you are doing well." Ash says as Kaelyn runs up to the monitor again. "Bye Nana! You to Papa!" Kaelyn says with a happy smile. "You too Kae." Red says happily and Ash ends the call there.

Serena was sitting down with her arms crossed on the seat she was sitting in. "Serena I forgot I need to register for the Kalos League. I'll be back" Ash says running to the counter with Kaelyn in tow. Serena sighs and stands up still upset but happy Ash didn't forget the important thing.

After their arrival to Santalune City, the group went to the Pokémon center so Ash and Serena could call home, and Ash registers for the Pokémon league. Next stop is the Santalune City Gym, home of Ash's first gym battle, and the beginning of his journey to the Kalos league.

I'm sorry for the distance between each chapter. I will try to get updating more often but with school it's a bit more difficult. I do also alternate between which story I update a chapter in which is also contributing to the problem.

Anyway do you think Serena should be trusting her Dad, Giovanni or is that a mistake for her to be making?
