"Stop yelling at me Serena!" Ash shouts as he walks down the new route on the way to Cyllage City. "Maybe if you would've told me where you went and didn't go with that witch then maybe I wouldn't be yelling at you!" Serena yells back and looks away. Kaelyn sighs as she watches her two parents fight. "Can you two stop arguing! It won't get you anywhere!" Clemont yells over the two.

Ash and Serena both cross their arms and look away from each other. "Mommy Daddy are you going to be okay?" Kaelyn asks walking in between Ash and Serena. "I'll be fine Kae." Serena says uncrossing her arms and grabbing one of Kaelyn's hands. "What about Daddy?" Kaelyn asks grabbing one of Ash's hands.

"I'm sure he'll be just fine. He just has to know what he did wrong." Serena says with a hint of anger back in her voice. "Mommy he made a mistake. All people make mistakes." Kaelyn says pulling Ash and Serena closer to her. "For being eight she is very smart." Clemont says and Kaelyn giggles happily.

Clemont then looks down at Kaelyn and realizes she looks a lot like and Serena. "You said you adopted Kaelyn?" Clemont asks and Serena nods. "Don't you find it a little odd that she looks a lot like you?" Clemont questions looking to Kaelyn then Serena.

"Does she?" Serena asks looking at Kaelyn who smiles happily. "I guess she does. Why would I find it odd?" Serena asks looking back to Clemont. "Because usually children look most like their birth parents more then anything else." Clemont responds and Serena looks at the ground.

"You must be mistaking. I am not Kaelyn's birth mother." Serena says sighing. Absol was walking besides Serena with Fennekin sleeping on her. Absol was looking at Serena worriedly like she knows something. No once catches the look which Absol was grateful for.

"Can I hold Fennekin please?" Kaelyn asks Serena looking at the tiny fox. "Of course sweetie." Serena says smiling picking up the sleeping Pokémon and handing her slowly to Kaelyn. Pikachu looks up from the ground. "You too Pikachu!" Kaelyn exclaims and Pikachu runs up to Kaelyn's head.

Bonnie runs up to Kaelyn and giggles. "And why not have Dedenne too!" Bonnie shouts putting Dedenne on Kaelyn's shoulder. "That's adorable." Serena says looking at Pikachu and Dedenne fall asleep on Kaelyn. Ash scratches Pikachu's head.

Serena glares at Ash and the tension started to rise again. "Pikachu isn't even your Pokémon so why do you care." Ash asks raising an eyebrow. "Because I don't want you near Kaelyn." Serena answers pulling Kaelyn closer to her. "She's my daughter too Serena." Ash says angrily. "Daddy And Mommy Stop it!" Kaelyn shouts waking up the three Pokémon sleeping on her.

"Stop fighting! I don't want to be near you two if you keep fighting!" Kaelyn says getting out of Serena's grasp and walking backwards to Clemont. Serena and Ash sigh. "See? Even your daughter doesn't like your fighting. So cut it out." Clemont says with an eye roll.

After the group stops for the night, Ash speaks up. "I'm sorry." Ash says to Serena and stops walking. "I am too." Serena says looking at the ground. Ash pulls Serena into a hug. "I just overreacted." Serena mumbles sadly. "I should've told you it's fine." Ash says comforting Serena..
