A fifteen year old girl watched from a tree as the goblins walking around '"no wonder anyone afraid to come here there are more goblins but there the flower" she whispered a wolf growled quietly "your ready" she said he nodded she drew her bow "get them Colin" she said hitting one he growled tackling two more. After fighting them the girl picked up a group of plants

"miss Alex we should hurry before they come back" an eighteen year old boy said

"of course Colin" Alex said getting up then ran back to town Alex walked over to an old house where a girl was waiting "here we go ma'am" she said a young lady smiled

"thanks here you go and thank you Alex my grandmother will be feeling better" she said handing Alex a small bag of gold

"it no problem I'm happy to help" she said the girl smiled as Alex left. She walked to see Colin in his wolf form "he's mad" Alex guessed he nodded she sighed walking in "I'M HOME" she yelled as Colin walked up to Alex's room her Uncle growled

"where were you we need you to make food now" he snapped Alex sighed nodding and walked to the kitchen to start cooking. When the inn settled down

Alex ran to her room "we have enough gold Alex" Colin said

she smiled "finally we're ready to go" she whispered opening her closet

"how are we going to get out" Colin asked she smiled "don't worry" she said finding her new clothes "let me know when uncle in bed" Alex said he nodded walking to the door Alex changed into a blue top, black pants, black boot, blue cape, and light blue bracer she sigh then cut her hair to her neck

"he in bed now what next" he asked as Alex grabbed her jewelry box

"there it is" she said putting on her mom's necklace "let go." They quickly got out of the inn "stay in your wolf form okay" Alex said he nodded transforming  into his white wolf form before walking to the wagon "two tickets to the port town please" Alex said he nodded handing her the tickets "thanks" she said paying him then got on the wagon Alex smiled with excitement as the wagon started moving she sighed "wake me when we get there" she said falling asleep Colin looked around growling softly.

The next day they got off at the port town "wow" Alex said getting off Colin whined "right sorry let see" she said as they started walking but saw a big crowd Alex walked over to see what going on

"calm down everyone the test will begin at the docks so be ready" a man said Alex looked around

"uh what going on" Alex asked walking over

"you must have just arrived well the explorer exam is happening today" he said

Alex smiled "great" she said

"you can't be joining it going to be hard" he said

"I know but I'm not alone" she said Colin barked

"a half beast interesting okay at the docks" he said Alex nodded walking around. After picking up some supplies Alex walked to the dock Colin growled following

"will you relax this will be cool" Alex said he whined nodding

"Alex" a voice said surprised she turned to see a fifteen year old boy walked over

"Dominic" she said

"why are you here" he asked

"to become an explorer" Alex said he shrugged walking off Colin growled "it not his fault everyone blamed his brother for being a traitor" Alex said following him. Dominic growled as the others made teams "we could be a team" Alex said he sighed nodding

"but we need three members" he said Colin barked he laughed "okay let go" he said as they walked over

"the first part will be weapons as you know each explorer has different skills we'll test your skills now" the man said

Dominic smiled "I'll take the test" he said

Alex rolled her eyes "your not the only one who uses weapon you know" Alex said Dominic turned surprise "you haven't been by the inn I've been using a bow" Alex said he smiled Colin whined letting them know it was their turn. Dominic went first "twin knives cool" Alex said watching him

"what your weapon" he asked

"a bow please" she said

he nodded handing her a bow "you have to hit at least two target" he said

she nodded drawing an arrow "one" she muttered hitting the first one "two" she said hitting the second one "three and four" Alex said hitting the last two

"impressive work" the man said Alex smiled walking back.

When the ship stopped the three stepped out "here we are finally" Alex said they nodded walking to the town

"this is the town where the explorers live and work" Dominic said Alex nodded

"welcome to the guild I'm the master here Cid" he said everyone nodded "we have plenty places open go check it out and settle down as new explorers" Cid said they cheered

Alex started looking around "huh" she said seeing an old house

"we don't know how to open that house up" Cid said surprising her

"really" Alex asked

he nodded "your welcome to it through" he said

she smiled "I don't know why but it make me think of mom" Alex said

he smiled "good luck" he said walking off Alex walked over Colin sniffed walking around

"anything" she asked he nodded digging Alex walked over to see a box "good work Colin" Alex said picking it up he barked happily she opened the box to see three keys, and a note she smiled then walked to the door to try the key "it worked" Alex cheered opening the door Colin ran in Alex coughed "a bit dusty but WE'RE FINALLY HERE" she said happily hugging Colin he barked "let start cleaning up" she said walking around.
