The Master's Approval
"The master isn't here right now." One girl said. I followed the sound of her voice and found a waitress serving beers to two wizards. As I saw her, I immediately recognized who she was. She's famous for her bikini spread in the Sorcerer Weekly magazine. Mirajane Strauss. "Where can I find him?" I asked. I might have sounded a little too demanding. What can I say, I was about to ask the master if I can join the guild. I was kind of nervous. What if we didn't get accepted into the guild? Mila would have a fit. I took deep breaths and asked again."He's in town helping set up the Fantasia parade." Mira responded in a kind voice. She then took the beers off the serving platter and moved them to the table. She gave the wizards a smile and walked off towards the bar. I started walking towards her but Mila grabbed me by the arm. I looked at her with confusion. She shook her head and started walking out the door."Let's go find the master," she said in a sweet voice, "we can use our dragon noses to sniff him out from the crowd." She seemed so calm while I was tense. She's always been like that, so calm and easy-going. When rage would be coursing through my body, I would look at the smile on her face and the rage would flow out like a river. I felt safe with her. She may be a dragon slayer (and younger than me) but she has a kinder heart than anybody I know. I calmed down and took one final look at the guild before we walked away. It was one of those dramatic moments when everything goes into slow motion as you turn and your scarf/coat (if you wearing one) flows out as you turn. The bright sunlight greeted our eyes as we walked away. We both stopped and took a huge whiff of the air. Suddenly, it hit us. We could smell the large amount of magical energy as we inhaled. We looked at each other and nodded. As we looked away from each other, we bolted into town, following the scent we had caught earlier. We turned many turns and hopped on many roofs before we finally reached our destination. We looked onward and found a short man putting decorations on the bottom of a float. We hopped off the roof we had landed on and proceeded towards him."Excuse me," I started to say, "you wouldn't happen to be the master of the Fairy Tail guild would you?" He looked up from his work and nodded."Indeed I am." He inquired. He set down the decorations and brushed dirt from his clothes (which were a little funky)."Mu sister and I have a request." I stated, feeling better than before. I felt better because Mila was standing there next to me."Let me hear it." The master demanded. I was about to answer when a loud crash came from behind us. We quickly looked in the direction the sound had come from and found a man crushing the buildings. I looked at my sister. She wanted to go and help but I told her to let me handle it. She agreed and I bolted towards the man. He saw me coming and dodged my attack. When he thought I wasn't looking, he shot a magic bullet towards me. I could smell its scent as it slowly proceeded towards me. I dodged right as the bullet barely grazed my side. I fell to the ground, holding my side and grimacing. He landed in front of me and snickered. I got up and healed my wound. He looked at me as I healed the wound and became surprised. I smiled and attacked again, this time from a distance."Song Dragon Roar!" I exclaimed as my magic energy exited my mouth and struck the other wizard. He fell to the ground, out cold. I wiped sweat from my forehead and continued to finish the job. The wizard had destroyed many buildings and injured many people. I used one of my special abilities to fix the buildings while I used yet another ability to heal all of the injured people. As I finished, I collapsed. After defeating the wizard, fixing the buildings, and healing the townspeople, I was tired. Mila rushed to my aid and helped me up. I wobbled before I could actually stand up. As I stood up, I looked at the master. His eyes were full of gratitude. He was thankful that the townspeople were feeling okay."Now, that request of ours." I said.***"Wow this air feels nice." I inquired. I looked on my right shoulder to find my brand new Fairy Tail guild mark. After I took down the wizard in town, Mila and I explained to him what our request was. He asked us some questions before he finally let us join the guild. Once he allowed us to be members, Mila and I rushed back to guild and asked for our guild marks. The master had informed Mira of the situation so we didn't have to do any explaining about that. Mira then stamped a red guild mark onto my right shoulder and a light blue guild mark onto the back of Mila's left hand. We couldn't believe that we were actually members! Everything was happening so quickly. And then we realized something, we needed a place to stay.
