Dear journal,

I have made a huge breakthrough and have decided to keep a journal in hopes that it will A) help me retrace steps if something were wrong.
B) get recognition as the smartest scientist since Einstein and Tesla, as this as evidence.
So back to the main purpose of this book. I have discovered a new dimension. I will henceforth refer to it the mirror realm. It is currently inaccessible but I can send messages to it and receive them. The reflections, as I have taken to calling them, are, as far as I can tell, basically carbon copies of current humans.

Imagine my surprise to receive a note from myself when I first started these experiments. I sent a message to them by a small and weak internet connection I have managed to patch through to our side from their side. After establishing this connection I sent a message to tell my reflection to stay still while I pass a mirror. And as I approached my mirror that I had used for my studies I had found myself without a reflection. I then messaged my reflection about my success and they sent me a note to remain where I stood as they tested it themselves.

After a minute or two they sent back a message that they too, have succeeded. Ecstatic at this, I went to the nearby village to pick up my friend and a pint. The village was not very modern but ,bless their hearts, they make it so cozy that you feel relaxed just by standing there. My friend that I was going to pick up was named Fredrick Nicolas. He likes to tease me about my initials as they spell R.I.P. but I get back at him with his initials being F.U.N. Oh, the humor we shared over that little thing. Oh, I just recalled that I have yet to put in my full name. I'll just place it at the end as most do.
