An Unexpected Ally
Scene: Deep within the forest, Jin Ahri is wandering, trying to find her way back to the village. She is lost and frustrated, muttering to herself in Korean mixed with English.
Jin Ahri (muttering): "Great, Ahri. Just great. Time-travel to the Joseon era, they said. It'll be fun, they said. Now look at you, lost in a forest with no Google Maps!"
Suddenly, she hears rustling behind her. Her heart skips a beat as she slowly turns around, only to see a wild boar charging at her.
Jin Ahri (panicking): "Oh no, not like this! I didn't even get to finish my K-drama!"
Just as the boar is about to reach her, an arrow swiftly flies through the air, hitting the ground in front of the boar, startling it. The boar stops in its tracks, snorts, and runs off into the bushes. Jin Ahri, still in shock, looks around frantically.
Jin Ahri: "Wha—what just happened?"
From the shadows, Jeon Jungkook steps out, looking calm and collected, holding a bow. He has an amused smirk on his face.
Jungkook (teasingly): "You seem to attract trouble, don't you?"
Jin Ahri (relieved but still shaken): "You have no idea! But, uh, thanks...for saving me from becoming boar food."
Jungkook (laughing softly): "Boar food? That's a new one. Are you always this dramatic?"
Jin Ahri (with a huff): "Well, excuse me, Mr. Ancient Warrior, but where I come from, wild animals don't usually chase us down. We have... other problems, like deadlines and Wi-Fi issues."
Jungkook (confused): "Wi... what?"
Jin Ahri (sighing): "Never mind. Just forget I said anything."
Jungkook (smiling): "I'm Jungkook, by the way. And you are...?"
Jin Ahri (sarcastically): "Lost. Very lost. And tired."
Jungkook (with a chuckle): "I meant your name, but I see you're a little overwhelmed."
Jin Ahri (embarrassed): "Oh! Right. I'm Jin Ahri. Nice to meet you, Jungkook."
Jungkook (offering his hand): "Come on, Jin Ahri. Let's get you back to the village before you encounter anything more dangerous than a boar."
Jin Ahri (taking his hand): "You mean like a bear or a tiger?"
Jungkook (grinning): "Or an angry villager. Trust me, they can be just as scary."
Scene: As they walk through the forest, the tension eases, and they begin to talk more comfortably.
Jungkook (curious): "So, why were you wandering in the forest alone? It's not exactly the safest place."
Jin Ahri (sighing): "I was trying to find the village... but I guess I have no sense of direction. I'm from... well, let's just say I'm not from around here."
Jungkook (playfully): "I could tell. Most people here don't talk about... what was it again? Wi-Fi?"
Jin Ahri (laughing): "Yeah, Wi-Fi. It's... a long story. One that involves a lot of technology you wouldn't believe even if I told you."
Jungkook (seriously): "You seem out of place here, Ahri. This land can be dangerous, especially for someone who doesn't know its ways."
Jin Ahri (gratefully): "I know... But thank you for helping me. I'm not sure what I would've done without you."
Jungkook (smiling warmly): "You don't have to thank me. Just... try to stay out of trouble."
Jin Ahri (teasingly): "No promises. Trouble seems to find me wherever I go."
As they reach the edge of the forest, the village comes into view. The sun is setting, casting a warm glow over the fields.
Jungkook (looking at her seriously): "Ahri, if you ever need help... just call for me. I'll be around."
Jin Ahri (softly): "Thank you, Jungkook. I think I'm starting to get used to this place... and maybe, just maybe, I'm starting to like it here."
Jungkook (grinning): "Don't get too comfortable. The Joseon era has its own set of challenges."
Jin Ahri (playfully): "Bring it on. I've faced worse, like trying to survive without coffee in the morning."
Jungkook (laughing): "Coffee? You're full of surprises, Ahri."
As they walk back to the village, Jin Ahri feels a sense of relief and comfort. For the first time since she arrived in the past, she feels like she's found an unexpected ally—and maybe even a friend—in Jungkook.
Jin Ahri (thinking to herself): "Maybe this won't be so bad after all..."
Scene: As they continue toward the village, the atmosphere between them grows more comfortable, yet there's an underlying tension, one that Jin Ahri can't quite place. The village's distant lights flicker, creating a sense of warmth and safety.
Jungkook (glancing at Jin Ahri with a thoughtful expression): "You know, Ahri, it's rare to meet someone like you. You're different... in a good way. It's like you bring a piece of a world I've never known."
Jin Ahri (smiling softly): "Maybe I do. And maybe I can share some of that world with you—once I figure out how to survive in this one."
Jungkook (teasingly): "If your world has more of this 'coffee' you speak of, I'm interested."
Jin Ahri (laughing): "Deal. I'll trade you a cup of coffee for some survival tips in the Joseon era. First lesson: how not to get lost in a forest!"
Jungkook (smiling): "You've got yourself a deal, Ahri."
As they near the village, Jin Ahri feels a strange but comforting sense of belonging, something she hadn't expected to find in a time so far removed from her own. Jungkook's presence beside her is reassuring, and for the first time since her arrival, she starts to believe that she can navigate this new world—not just survive, but perhaps even thrive.
Jin Ahri (thinking to herself as she glances at Jungkook): "Who would've thought? A warrior from the past and a girl from the future, forming an alliance. Maybe there's more to this strange journey than just finding my way home... maybe, just maybe, I was meant to be here."
Author's Note
Well, well, well... looks like Jin Ahri has officially joined the "Let's Get Lost in the Forest and Meet a Hot Warrior" club! Who knew time travel could be so stressful and come with a side of potential romance? 🌲💘
Honestly, I have to give it to her—facing a wild boar in the Joseon era without Wi-Fi or Google Maps? That's some serious main character energy right there. But let's be real, if it were me, I'd probably be trying to explain the concept of Netflix to Jungkook while tripping over my own feet. 🤦♀️
But don't worry, folks—Jungkook's got her back, and maybe, just maybe, he'll even learn what "coffee" is before this is all over. (Let's hope it doesn't involve any awkward ancient brewing techniques... or worse, mistaking it for some kind of weird medicinal herb. 😬)

Anyway, stick around—things are about to get even more interesting as these two continue their adventures in the past. And who knows? Maybe Jungkook will figure out that Ahri's "dramatic" side is just her way of keeping things... spicy. 🌶️
Until next time, keep your arrows sharp and your coffee strong! ☕🎯
