" Hey, quickly look over there! " Joseph yelled getting out of the car.

I set my pictures down and got out of the car with everyone else. Joseph pointed ahead of us and I could see the Speedwagon Foundation helicopter we saw moments ago crashed in the sand. 

   " The Speedwagon Foundation helicopter went down. I can't believe what I'm seeing. " Kakyoin said joining me on the other side of the car.

   " There's no sign of an explosion or gunfire. " Avdol said.

   " It must have just happened. Look there's dark smoke coming out from the blades. It had to have just happened. " I said pointing at the blades on top of the helicopter. 

   " Careful men and lady. I bet y life that it was attacked by an enemy stand. " Joseph said.

   " Over there! It's the piolet! " JoJo yelled. I looked over and saw the pilot halfway out of the window to the helicopter. 

His arms were raised upwards as his hands were in the metal of the helicopter. I hated seeing it and I could only imagine his struggle trying to pull himself out of the falling aircraft. His fingers were still embedded into the metal and didn't look like they would be falling soon. 

   " He's already dead. What ever happened to him wasn't pretty. " Jotaro continued.

   " Not at all. "

We slowly made our way towards the fallen helicopter. I walked beside Kakyion and we followed behind Joseph and Jotaro. I hit Jotaro's back because he stopped. I apologized and walked around him to see what he was looking at. The piolet was laying on the ground but I spotted what Jotaro had also caught. There was something in his mouth. Jotaro leaned down and kneeled next to the man and tilted his head on the sand.

   " It's water. "

The water pooled out of his mouth and a fish followed the stream and laid on the hot sand. And it wasn't just a little water. It was a lot, to the point there was a stream leading from his mouth.

   " There's no way that waster's just from his mouth. It must be flowing from somewhere else. It must be from his lungs. And the fish would mean...he drowned in the desert. "

   " That's just so weird. How could a person drown in the desert? " I asked. 

Jotaro stood up and we turned towards Polnareff who was yelling at us. 

   " Hey! We found the other guy over here! "

We all ran towards the other man, that Polnareff was talking about and when we reached him I noticed he didn't look too good. His skin was pale and you could see his cheekbones. His youth was dry and he was having a hard time breathing as if someone had taken all of the water out of his mouth and throat. 

   " He's alive, but barely. "

   " Hang on! You have to talk to us! Tell us what happened! " Joseph asked crouching beside the man.

   " Wa...Wa..ter. "

   " What? Are you saying you need water? Hurry Polnareff, hand me the canteen. "

   " Huh? Oh yeah. "

Pol grabbed the canteen and handed it to Joseph. Joseph opened it and held the guy's head up.

   " Here, drink it slowly. "

   " Something doesn't feel right here. "

   " What do you mean, Y/n? " Avdol asked.

I took another look at the man, and I took notice of his drastic change in behavior. Before Joseph gave him the water he was breathing fine. It was a little fast but he was trying to get his breathing right in order to stay alive. His mouth was dry too. Now that the water canteen is in front of him his breathing is faster and I can see his chest rising quickly. I got closer to the other side so I could protect him if anything did happen. Something just wasn't settling right with me.

   " AHHHHHHH! No! The water attacked us! "

From the canteen, I saw a hand made out of water form faster than my eyes could see. It reached for the man's face but I was close enough and I raised my hand up to the water.

   " Hamon overdrive! "

Hamon laced my hand and when the water hit it, the hand shape remained the same, but it didn't pass through my hand and get to the man's face. Everyone jumped away from me and the water. The man who I had saved jumped back as well and laid on the sand beside Avdol. The hand retreated back into the canteen and I jumped to Kakyoin and Polnareff.

   " The enemy stand is inside the canteen! "

I laid on the ground beside them as we watched for its next move. I couldn't see what the others were talking about, but I stayed between Kakyoin and Polnarff. 

   " Y/n is your hand okay? " Kakyoin asked.

   " Yeah, I'm fine. A bruise will form if anything. Since I laced my hand with Hamon I could hold the hand instead of having it slip through and kill that other piolet. But since it's a stan I couldn't hurt it because it was made of water. Water helps Hamon so I can't damage the stand because it won't hurt the user. "

   " Alright, if it hurts at all tell us. We're going to try and get over to the others. Polnareff slice up the canteen would you? "

   " Why me? Why can't Y/n do it? Or why can't you do it with your emerald splash and call it a day? "

   " Because I don't want to do it. " Kakyoin said looking towards the canteen. "

   " Aww come on man! Don't make me do something I don't want to do! I don't want to die today especially by drowning in the desert! How ironic and lame would that be? " Polnareff whined.

I saw something blue forming in front of us and I realized it was the stand.

   " You guys don't have to worry about cutting the canteen! Get down! "

The hand of water formed and lunged towards us. Polnareff moved out of the way, but when I looked at Kakyoin I could tell he wouldn't make it in time. 

   " Kakyoin! "

I raised my hand up to try and grab the hand one last time. Gold Spirit formed and sliced at the water, but it did nothing. Before I could summon my Hamon the wand already flew past, my hand and wrist, cutting it along the way, and attacked Kakyoin. The hand scratched his eyes and I could see one mark going down the middle of both his eyes. Kakyoin closed his eyes and laid in the sand in pain and blind.

   " Kakyoin! "

   " No! It got Kakyoin! Y/n heal him! " 

   " I can't right now! We need to stay calm and then we can heal him, If I help him now then the enemy stand could do it again. And I only have a limited supply of energy! "

I looked at my hand that was sliced and realized that the water cut my wrist and the flood was flowing like a waterfall out of my wrist. It hurt so bad and I remembered something in that instant. 

   ' Wamuu gave Joseph one minute to fight him, and the timer was Joseph's wrist. So that means I have one minute until I bleed out. '

I looked around the sand to try and spot the stand. But I couldn't find it anywhere, not until I looked at Polnareff's hand. Underneath his hand, I could see a blue area forming, and then it became liquid. The hand rose and was ready to attack him. I pulled Polnareff behind me as the stand jumped to attack him. I used all my strength and Hamon to push him on the other side of Kakyoin, if not further.

   " AHHH! "

   " Y/n! "

   " Mon cher! "

My back felt like hell. The stand disappeared in the sand, but it left something behind. There were claw marks on y back that touched from one side of my waist to the other. And they were not scrapes, but they were deep cuts that would need wrapping and maybe stitching.  

   ' How does the stand know we're here? The user is too far away. Jotaro couldn't even spot him using Star Platinum. '

    " Mon cher! Are you alright? " Polnareff asked sitting beside me.

Polnareff had Kakyoin in one arm and he put his other around me, being careful of my cuts. I noticed Polnareff had a watch on his wrist and I immediately thought of an idea.

   " Pol...give me your watch. "

   " My watch? My god, Y/n, why do you ant to know the time now? "

   " Do it, before it comes back! "

Polnareff took his watch off and I set an alarm to go off in five seconds. I threw the watch in the sand away from us and when the alarm went off the stand attacked it. I figured it out then, but Jotaro beat me to it. 

   " Y/n's figured it out. The stand is attacking its victims by using sound. Whenever it hears something it's going to go in the direction of where it heard the noise. "

   " You're kidding? " Pol asked amazed by the broken watch. 

   ' Oh no. '

It was then I realized that I had put Polnareff in danger. My back was dripping with blood and so was Kakyoin's eye slits. Polnareff had been holding us off the sand for so long that the blood made a pool and when it dripped into the pool a sound was heard. I saw the hand form and start heading towards us.

   " Polnareff! Get to the car with Kakyoin! Leave me here! "

   " Why the hell-"

   " Because when you run to the car it's going to follow you and leave me here on the sand! You can make it to the car with Kakyoin, while I will be silent here! Make it over there! "

Polnareff finally picked up Kakyoin and started running towards the car. The stand attacked my left side right beside my arm, but it chased after Polnareff who was running to the car. Polnareff was almost there but the stand was fast and cut his ankle. 

   "Aghhh! "

   " Hermit Purple! "

Joseph's stand grabbed both of them and brought them to the car, and they were safe on top. I still laid in the sand trying to control my breathing so the stand wouldn't come to me. Since I was laying in the sand my blood wasn't dripping to attract the stand. My vision was getting blurry as I realized my one minute was almost up. Gold Spirit formed above me and started healing my wrist. When she was done I sent her over to the car to heal the others. I closed my eyes and calmed my breathing and felt my energy depleting. I knew I could heal Polnareff, but Kakyoin's wound was delicate. It was me or a doctor It would leave a scar either way.

   ' Gold Spirit, tell them I can't heal Kakyoin fully. I'm afraid that the wound is in too delicate of a place. I can heal it so it can stop bleeding but the doctors need to look at it professionally. '

You calmed your breathing and closed your eyes to keep yourself calm. The blood pooling from your back didn't help, but it would have to work. Gold Spirit put her hands over Kakyoin's eyes and healed them as her user said. Joseph took notice that the slits were not bleeding but they were not healed all the way.

   " Hey, why are they not healing! "

   " I can't heal them fully. I'm afraid that the wound is in too delicate of a place. I can heal it so it can stop bleeding but the doctors need to look at it professionally. " Gold Spirit said with your voice.

   " I see, a least the bleeding stopped, but Y/n is still trapped over there on her own. We're at a major disadvantage. Since we can't see it the stand has the ability to attack from above or below at any moment it chooses. To make things worse, the stand user could be kilometers away. "

Far away in the desert sat a blind man whose cane was inserted into the sand. He could hear the vibrations and movements that his stand could hear. The movements of the Frenchman getting to the car, and the breathing rhythm of the woman that his Lord requested to have. 

   " So, the prey have sought refuge atop the car while their friend is still injured in the sand? Seems they've realized N'doul is using the power of sound to hunt them down one by one. No matter. It won't be long before they're all eliminated leaving only one left. It's a good thing I've separated them from the start. Now I know where she is and I know not to hurt her but those opposite of her breathing pattern. "

   " How's Kakyoin doing? "

   " Better than a few minutes ago but Y/n was right. He needs to see a doctor. From the looks of things he may have been blinded. Y/n did all she could, but right now we need her alive as well. " Avdol replied.

   " She's injured badly as well, her back has deep claw marks, that need to be treated before an infection starts or something else happens. I wish she would heal herself right now and get over here. " Polnareff said with a  worried tone.

   " Polnareff there's no possible way for her to do that. "

   " Why not? "

   " Remember, her healing is based on how much energy she has. She has already been injured twice along with using at the most half her energy trying to save you and Kakyoin. She healed Kakyoin's eyes as far as she could without getting rid of her energy completely. She's trying to stay alive out there and she needs her energy to do that, because if she falls asleep and continues to have massive amounts of blood loss, we will lose her. "

Polnareffe grimaced at the situation and looked over to your body. Your eyes were closed but your breathing was normal.

   " If we move that stand will attack us. We can't afford careless mistakes. What the hell!?" Joseph said.

The car started tilting with the nose pointing downward. Iggy jumped out of the car and landed on the sand. You opened your eyes and looked towards the groups to see what was happening. 

   " The tires are in the water! Shit, what now!? The whole car's about to be pulled in! " Jotaro yelled hanging on to the edge of the car's rear. 

   " I can't hold Kakyoin for long. " Avdol said hanging on to the car and Kakyoin.

   " Everyone! We have to move to the back! " Joseph yelled.

   " Hey, you good for nothing mongrel! Aren't you supposed to be helping us or something!? " Polnareff yelled at the dog.

Iggy did nothing but yawn and settle down in the sand.

   " Yeah, that's right! Sleep while we do nothing but survive! You're a bastard you know that? " Pol still shouted at the dog. 

The car landed back on the sand but it flung the others off. They all landed in the sand with the water disappearing into the sand. No one moved or made a sound. Avdol took off his metal bracelets and started throwing them in the sand. He threw them in a pattern that they would be footsteps to N'Doul. Water started to bubble up and appear at the last ring he threw. But when the water formed so did Magician's Red. He threw a flame at the water stand but N'Doul figured out what was going on because the man in his mind didn't move after those five steps. The water stand flung itself at Avdol and it was going to stick him as well as Avdol burning the stand. But Avdol got the chance to burn the stand but the stand didn't get the chance to hurt Avdol. Gold Spirit Formed and shielded Avdol. The water attacked Gold Spirit's shoulder. Since Gold Spirit's sword was only laced in Hamon and she could not conduct Hamon her sword would only cut the water in half leaving it to hurt Avdol, and you were too far away. The hand left a cut in her lower neck and gave you the same cut.

   ' Great. '

   " Y/n! " I could hear someone yell.

   " Don't be stupid about this! He knows where we are because of the sand! I can't help you much longer so think of something and quick! I'm losing a lot of energy and I'm extremely tired right now! I don't wanna die by blood loss in my sleep! " You yelled at them.

You turned over on your stomach and looked at the situation. Avdol was now on the sand, and the stand knew where he was.

   ' Shit. How do we kill this guy when he's nowhere near us? He must be miles away. '

I watched Jotaro stand up from the sand and start running away from us.

   " Jotaro! "

   " JoJo, where are you going? " I shouted.

He didn't answer me or anyone, he just kept running. He picked up Iggy and continued to run, and the water stand followed him. Everyone stood up and watched Jotaro run. Joseph continued to yell at him while Polnareff ran to Kakyoin and Avdol ran to me.

   " Y/n, how are you feeling? "

   " Tired, and ready to get some food. "

   " Why are you thinking of food in a time like this? "

   " Why not? Food is great. Did you get hurt at all Avdol? "

   " No, I'm left unscaved. "

   " Good. "

   " Allow me to help you get off the sand. "

I nodded and Avdol put his arms under my knees and my back. He picked me up out of the sand and walked towards the others. I couldn't see Jotaro anymore, only a black dot flying in the sky in the distance. 

   " What is that in the sky? "

   " That is Jotaro using Iggy's stand to fly and find the user. "

   " I see. "

   " We're going to get the car on its wheels again and fix it the best we can and follow him. How are your injuries? "

   " Not good, they hurt to the point I don't want to move. "

   " We'll set you in the car while we repair it with a towel on your back to gather the blood. "

   " Thanks, Avdol. "
