You were sitting at a table near the steering area of the submarine. The ocean looked beautiful through the wide glass. There was a lot of marine life, and the coral looked glorious. 

   ' The Red Sea really is beautiful. '

Jotaro sat beside you, while Avdol and Polnareff were at the steering wheel.

   " Hey, can you drive this thing, Avdol? " Polnareff asked.

   " It's not a problem what so ever Polnareff. "

   " And Avdol's not the only one. " Joseph interjected while pointing at himself. 

   " Don't even think about it. I refuse to let you put us through another crash. " Jotaro said, folding his arms.

   " Well, you sure seem to be in a foul mood today. "

   " So, this is a submarine? " Kakyoin asked looking around.

   " I'm guessing you've never been in a submarine before Kakyoin? " I asked. 

   " And you have? "

   " Nope, this would be my first time riding in one. So, I'm on the same track as you are. "

Joseph was pushed out of the way of one of the windows as Polnareff ran to the window to stare out of it and at the ocean.

   " You know, I've always wanted to do this sort of thing, but I would rather have a cute girl by my side. "

   " And what am I a roach? "

   " Of course not cheri. But it seems you are not the cute girl for me, rather someone else. "

I turned away from Polnareff and looked down towards the table. It was relaxing to be able to sleep again, and not see Dio, but at the same time, it took me a little while to sleep when I got into bed. I was always hesitant that something would happen, but I was able to acquire as much sleep as I can now and not feel so exhausted. 

   " I wanted to ask, Y/n. Have you been able to sleep better lately? "

   " I have. I'm not sure why, but after that day in the desert, I've been able to sleep without Dio coming into my dreams. "

Kakyoin's smile was one of pride. He was the only one that would know about defeating Death 13. He didn't risk telling the others due to what happened when he first told them. And he knew that everyone would think he was making up a joke or that he was starting to dream of defeating stands in his sleep. So no one knew, not even you. 

   " Maybe he's decided to give you a break. "

   " Maybe, but that's not like him. "

   " At least you can get some sleep now. I was really concerned about your health after seeing how dark those bags were under your eyes. "

   " I was still as beautiful with those bags. I was gorgeous. "

   " No, I wouldn't say that. "

   " Oh, really? Excuse me I believe I was dro-"

   " I would rather say, you were extravagant. "

I felt my cheeks redden a bit and I just gazed at Kakyoin, wondering what his plan was. If it was to make me flustered or to see what reaction I would give him.

   " Smooth Kakyoin. Smooth. "

   " And damn cheesy. " Jotaro commented. 

   " I don't think you have anything to say Jotaro so don't judge him. "

   " Because there's nothing for me to say. "

Jotaro brought my chair closer to his. Kakyoin didn't seem to like it, and he pulled my chair towards his. 

   " I don't think she wants to be so close. You never know what could happen. "

   " That's why she should be closer to me. "

   " She's more comfortable with me. "

   " I don't think so. "

   " Oh, really? Care to explain? "

   " There's no need to do so. I just know. We've had a lot of talks while you've been gone Kakyoin. "

   " Oh, really? But have you kissed her? "

   " I have. " He said tilting his hat down.

   " I don't think you understand where I meant, Jotaro. "

   " Then where-"

   " Kakyoin! Why don't you get us all some coffee? I could really use a cup and it looks like Polnareff could use one too. " I said looking up at Kakyoin, pleading for him to get the coffee.

   " Sure, I'll be right back. "

I sighed in relief as it became quiet. I felt my arm being tugged and I looked at Jotaro. He pulled me down and started whispering in my ear, causing me to turn a little red.

   "The two of you have damn well kissed on the lips, haven't you? "

   " Don't worry about it, JoJo "

   ' Did he also forget about the CPR he gave me? Geez. '

   " Y/n-"

   " Alright! I need silence. I need to make a very important call. " Joseph announced. 

I sat back up in my chair and took a breath. I glanced towards Jotaro and saw that he was staring at me, and then he gave Kakyoin's back glare, before tilting his hat down. I listened to the call as Joseph put the phone against his ear. 

   " Hello? R-Right sorry. I'm at a hotel. Hears the thing, I hate to say it but I've got some unexpected business that's come up. Y-Yes, sorry. By the way, Suzie? Have you spoken to Holly? "

   ' Suzie...Suzie Q. I wonder how she's doing. '

   " No, no. There's no need for that. I'm sure she'll recover quickly."

   " So, this is what he meant by an important matter? " Polnareff whispered to us.

   " Indeed, Madam Joestar is full of vitality so he checks in now and again to make sure she doesn't visit Mrs. Holly in Japan. That way she's protected from the truth. "

   " Suzie..." 

   " That's right, Y/n, you knew Madam Joestar when she was younger. "

   " Yeah, I did. We were close. When I wasn't training or with Joseph and Caesar I would be with her. I helped her around the island and we always had a lot of chats. I'm glad to hear she's still alive and well. I can hear her voice through the phone a little bit and she still sounds so cheerful. "

   " You never thought about Madam Joestar since you've come back. "

   " I haven't. I didn't know what happened to her. I'm glad to know he's moved on and Suzie Q is a great woman. "

   " I know it must be hard transitioning from the past-"

   " I've left the past behind, Avdol. I'm not like I was. I've grown and Joseph is only an old best friend to me. Nothing more, nothing less. "

   " I understand. "

Joseph hung up the phone and Avdol put a map down on the table. We started looking at the route we would take, and see where we would land. 

   " The exit is two hundred meters inland. This is the perfect spot for us to surface. " Avdol said.

   " At long last, we've finally made it. "

   " It took long enough. "

   " So, this is Egypt? "

   " It is, we have arrived. "

We all took a seat at the table, and I felt a sort of lightness on my shoulders knowing that we were in Egypt. Kakyoin brought the mugs of coffee over and set them all in front of us.

   " Hey, Kakyoin. Why did you grab seven cups for six people? " Jotaro questioned.

   " That's peculiar. I guess I didn't notice. I could have sworn it was six. "

Joseph picked up one of the cups and instantly the mug shifted into something that looked like Yellow Temperance. The slime had formed a sword and cut off his mechanical hand. I stood up from the table and looked to where his hand went. 

   " What the!? "

The stand was on his hand and then it was floating in the air. The stand shot Joseph's fingers at him and they went into his throat. 

   " Old man! "

   " Joseph! "

   " Mr. Joestar! "

The stand landed on the table and let go of Joseph's hand. 

   " It's a stand! I don't know how but it got into the submarine at some point! " Avdol shouted. 

The stand went to the ceiling and was stuck there, and Jotaro summoned Star Platinum. But Star missed the hit because the stand jumped and went to the dashboard. I ran to Joseph and started healing him. 

   " It disappeared! "

   " No, it didn't! "

   " It transformed! I'm sure of it! The stand disguised itself as one of the gauges! Just as it turned into a coffee cup! "

Joseph was unconscious from the fingers that flew at him and pushed him to the floor, but he would be fine. I grabbed his arm and started attaching it back to his arm. 

   " He's unconscious and I'm trying to reattach his hand. He's fine. "

I heard the phone ring. It ruined the hysterical atmosphere and it left us all in question of who was on the other end. Avdol started explaining what stand he believes was attacking us. It was the High Priestess and she was controlling it from Egypt, on land. The phone was still ringing and it was getting on my nerves. Then water burst through the side of the boat and water was coming inside.

   " So, that's how it came in. it cut a hole and crawled in. " Polnareff said. 

I looked towards the phone as the ringing stopped, and I realized that it was Jotaro. He picked up the phone. Through the submarine's alarm and the rushing water, I could hear Suzie Q on the other end. 

   " I'm sorry but the old man can't come to the phone. " 

Jotaro said nothing for a little while, and then he finally spoke before hanging up the phone.

   " There's nothing to worry about grandma Suzie. He's going to be just fine, cause I'm right here with him. Later. We'll call back once things calm down. "

I felt the submarine start tilting. It was tilting forward and I was starting to slide downward. I realized that the submarine was going to crash into the ground floor. I was sliding until Polnareff grabbed my hand as he grabbed a chair leg. He pulled us back to our feet and we stood while the sub hit the ocean floor. It shook a little and I about lost my balance if Polnareff wasn't beside me. 

   " The air is starting to get thin you guys. " Polnareff warned as he picked up Joseph. 

   " Kakyoin, did you catch which gauge the stand merged with? "

Kakyoin walked over to Jotaro and pointed at the gauge, but when he stepped back I could hear something. I turned around and I could see that Kakyoin was wrong. The stand had already moved.

   " No! That's wrong! Jotaro, the stands already moved! Kakyoin, duck!" I shouted.

Kakyoin kneeled to the ground as Hierophant used his emerald splash against the red light, but she maneuvered around Hierophant and was going straight towards Kakyoin's neck. I sent Gold Spirit out and she immediately flew to Kakyoin. She pulled her sword from its sheath and connected the sword against the stand instead of the stand meeting Kakyoin. With Hamon laced in the sword, she managed to slice a portion of it, and The High Priestess flung away from the sword and into the water. 

   " Are you alright, Kakyoin? "

   " I'm fine! "

I turned to Jotaro and seen Star Platinum watch for the High Priestess. She was moving quickly and rapidly. Where ever Star would hit she would already be moved. Then the stand shifted into the ship as she did before.

   " Everyone, head for the door, quickly! The stand's become part of the hull's surface and it's traveling through the machines! If we stay in this room any further then there's a good chance we'll be leaving without our lives.  "

We ran towards the door and Avdol grabbed it, but the High Priestess already moved and was now in the steering wheel. Before she could do any damage Star Platinum took her off the wheel and held her head in his hands, crushing it. 

   " Apparently, our little friend here isn't as fast as Star Platinum. So, what should we do with it? " JoJo asked looking down at the stand

   " Show no mercy, Jotaro! Don't hesitate. Here's an idea, why don't we start by ripping off its little head? " Polnareff said still holding Joseph.

   " Works for me. "

Star Platinum started crushing its head further, but soon blood started appearing and when Star pulled his hands back there was a razor in his hand and many cuts along with his fingers and palms. High Priestess was gone.

   " Damn, bastard. It transformed into a freaking razor! "

The stand moved from his palm into the wall and turned back into its original form. Polnareff accidentally dropped Joseph when it flew by him, but the water woke him up.

   " What the hell is going on!? "

   " Joseph we need to leave! There's a stand! "

   " We have to use our stands to attack it! We can't touch it. Magician's Red! "

Fire from Magician's Red was blown towards the stand and it leaped back.

   " Silver Chariot! "

   " Gold Spirit! "

When Chariot's raper went to stab the stand, it turned solid. As solid as iron. Even the Hamon in Gold Sprits sword couldn't affect it because it turned to metal.

   " That stands a tough one. Chariot's rapier can't pierce its armor. "

   " And Gold Spirit's sword is laced with Hamon, but metal isn't a good conductor. "

Polnareff opened the door and oxygen started flooding in the room, but we all knew that it wouldn't be long until it ran out. I looked behind me to see Jotaro still standing in the room, staring at the stand while everyone else was running away from us and the stand.

   " JoJo! Let's go! You can have your fight with the stand later! "

I ran up to him and grabbed his arm, but he didn't budge. 

   " Don't get too cocky because this battle isn't over. I'll kick your ass soon enough. "

   " JoJo! "

He turned away from the ceiling, where the stand disappeared and he grabbed my hand and started running towards the door. We ran through and he slammed it behind us with Star Platinum as we kept running. He let go of my hand and we met back up with the others. We didn't stop running and followed Joseph through the submarine. We entered a room and the door was shut behind us by Avdol. There was scuba gear along the walls and floors, and I immediately knew what we were doing. 

   " Are we really scuba diving all the way there? " Polnareff asked as he put the gear on. 

   " Oh, good grief. "

The boat was shaking and I strapped on my gear as quickly as I could. I wanted to get out of the sub as soon as possible. Once everyone was suited up, Joseph started letting the water in, slowly. He taught us about the regulator and we put it in our mouths to test them. 

   " This should go without saying, but we can't talk underwater.  Instead, we'll use hand signals. "

   " Mr. Joestar couldn't we just use our stands to communicate underwater? "

   " Oh, yeah. I didn't think about that. "

   " Aww, man. I was just about to say I know a really good hand signal. "

Polnareff stepped back and showed us the hand signal. I had no idea what it meant, but Kakyoin obviously did. 

   " He said, ' Your underwear is showing.'"

   " Yeah! Nice! "

I smiled as they did a handshake and it lifted the tense mood. I wanted to laugh at them, but I kept it in.

   " We could be attacked at any time! Stop fooling around and let's go! "

The room was almost to our necks. I put on my goggles and regulator as my head was submerged in water. Joseph opened the hatch, and we all sent him a signal saying we were okay, but Polnareff wasn't. His breathing regulator turned into The High Priestess and it was biting his lip.

   ' I don't think that's the kind of action he was looking for, but good try my friend. Good try. '

It tried to enter his mouth, and Star Platinum reached for it, but the stand had torn off the goggles and regulator and entered his throat. Joseph and Kakyoin used Hermit Purple and Hierophant Green and sent their tendrils and vines through his nose. They pulled it out of Polnareff and Star Platinum fully formed behind Jotaro. But it started transforming. It transformed into a speargun. 

   " Silver Chariot! "

The speargun shot and Silver Chariot used his rapier to battle the spear, and it started reloading. We all swam to the exit above us, and we were swimming as fast as we could. I looked back to see the stand getting ready to fire once more. I looked to see everyone out and I swam out and Jotaro was at the door ready to close it. I made it out but the air I was breathing got stuck in my throat, as pain went through my calf. I looked down and seen that the spear went right through my calf, and the top of it was pulling against my leg.

   ' Damn, it. I got shot. This is a great way to welcome someone to Egypt. Just shoot them, no biggie, nothing wrong about that at all! '
