After some time Dio walked to the bed and set you down on the soft material. He sat beside you and he held you while you messed with his hair. You were leaning against the headboard while Dio wrapped his arms around your waist.

   " A bird told me you were sick. "

   " I was, but I'm better now. Joseph gave me some medicine and I slept most of the day. "

   " I'm glad. Though I don't like that you were with those brutes for so long. "

   " Don't call them that. It's been a fun and painful trip with them. "

   " Painful? Don't tell me my minions hurt you. "

   " Most of the time, yeah, they did. "

   " How bad? "

   " Well, the worst injury would have to be from The Hanged Man. I used all my energy and I passed out with multiple stab wounds. Kakyoin and Polnareff helped me though. And I think it was Jotaro who patched me up. But I don't know, Kakyoin said that with Death 13 I was really bad. "

   " Jotaro Kujo, had his hands on you? "

   " I don't know. I don't really remember who patched me up. "

   " How many times has he touched you? "

   " I don't know. He's helped pull me out of multiple situations. So, has Kakyoin, Joseph, everyone really. "

   " That's not what I asked. "

Dio sat up and let go of your waist. He put one hand on each side of your waist and his face came closer to yours. The rest of his body was on top of you. His gold eyes looked into your E/c eyes waiting to hear an answer.

   " I want to know if he's touched you. I've also heard that while on your journey trip here, there have been a few romantic moments between you and two of the crusaders. So, tell me how many times he has touched you. "

You didn't answer, but you could see jealousy laced in his eyes and you could hear it in his tone. When you thought back on it, Jotaro and Kakyoin have kissed you, more than once and they did a lot of romantic gestures. But you never counted.

   " I don't know. "

   " Have you kissed them! "

   " Don't yell at me! "

   " Have you! "

   " Yes! "

After your confession, it was silent in the room. Dio's eyes never left yours and he could feel his heart crack in his chest.

   " That's why you've never come to my side. You. . .love them as well. "

   " Dio-"

   " I waited a century for you. I waited for you, and here you are stabbing my back. "

   " Dio, stop. "

   " After everything I've done for you, everything I've given you, you still don't fully love me. There's always someone in the way! "

   " Dio stop! "

   " Why is there always someone in the way, my love!? My heart has always been with you while yours has been out of my hands! Why. . .why can't you accept my love? "

   " Dio, after today one of us will be dead, whether it will be you or me I don't know. I don't even know what's going to happen once we step outside of this room. All I know is that once we leave this room, we're going to be enemies, and I won't hesitate to harm you. That's just our destiny. "

Dio was silent as he listened to you. He didn't like any of the words, that came out of your mouth even though they were right. His chest hurt and he knew why and he knew what he had to do.

   " I'm going to kill them. I'm going to kill all of them. " He said with a dark voice.

Dio got off the bed and started heading toward the door, but he stopped and turned back to you. You were sitting on the edge of the bed, now waiting for him to leave so you could get up and leave.

   ' This is how it has to be. ' You thought.

You closed your eyes and sighed, feeling your adrenaline pick up and the sadness leave your heart. You were preparing to let him go. 

   " Dio-"

Your mouth was stopped from moving, and from finishing your sentence. Your eyes were wide with surprise but soon fluttered shut. The warmth on your lips made your toes tingle. Dio had turned around and kissed you. His hands went to your face and caressed your cheeks. The kiss was full of love and his lips felt like they fit yours. You kissed him, back and it didn't feel like sparks, they felt like fireworks. It was a kiss that took more than a century to happen. Dio slowly pulled away but kept his face close to yours. Your noses were touching and both of your hearts were beating rapidly in your chests. 

   " I won't let go of you. Even when you must let go of me. "

   " I have to let you go. "

   " I know. I know you do, but remember I will always love you. I have for many many years and I don't ever intend to stop. As you let me go, I wanted to have one thing I haven't been able to have ever since met. Your lips with mine. Now, it's time we say goodbye and for you to let me go. I won't say goodbye, however, because I know once this is all over I will have you in my arms once more. "

   ". . .Goodbye, Dio Brando. "

Dio let go of you and slowly walked to the door. He turned the handle and walked out into the hall, leaving you alone in the room. You felt tears come to your eyes but you didn't let them fall. 

   " I need to find everyone else, they're here somewhere. "

You stood up from the bed and walked to the candle and blew it out. You memorized the room when the candle was on so you got to the door with ease. You opened the door and took one last glance at the room you were in, before leaving the door and leaving all feelings behind.
