Start music when it says.

JoJo shook your shoulders but you weren't responding. He put his hand to your mouth and he could feel a little air hit his hand. 

   ' She's still alive. '

Jotaro called the Speedwagon Foundation and they came with two cars as quickly as possible. Jotaro told them to put your body with Polnareff's and to make sure you lived. He joined the other ambulance with Dio and Joseph's body.

   " Car two, I have a question. Why have you placed the remains of Dio and Joseph Joestar in the same car? " A man over the radio asked.

   " Because it's not over yet. Dio borrowed something from us. " Jotaro replied.

   " Huh? "

   " And we need to take it back from the bastard. "

   " I'm not following your train of thought. " The doctor said.

   " I need you to perform a blood transfusion between the two bodies. "

   " That's absurd! You want us to transfuse Dio's blood into Mr. Joestar!? "

   " You're trying to bring him back to life! " The second doctor shouted.

   " It hasn't been all that long since Dio drained his blood. His upper half was destroyed in the fight but we'll take as much as we can. If we hurry, I think we can make it. " Jotaro tried reasoning with the doctors. 

   " It's impossible! He doesn't even have a pulse! "

   " Right! Not to mention his heart is stopped which means we can't circulate his blood if we wanted too! "

   " Don't give me that. " Jotaro said with a stern and frightening voice. 

Jotaro turned towards the doctors and his bright eyes stared them down.

   " You can call everything we've done on this journey impossible. I'm tired of hearing words like 'impossible' or 'futile'. They all mean nothing to us. You can do it if his hearts beating right? Well you're in luck. Thanks to Dio, I've already had a bit of practice with stopping and starting hearts. "

Jotaro walked over to Joseph's body and Star Platinum formed at his side. Star's hand went through Joseph's chest and grabbed his heart. He started moving his heart and massaging the muscle, creating a pulse and a heartbeat. The doctors ran around the ambulance to grab what they needed to start the transaction. They hooked wires to his body and to Dio's. The blood flow started, and when Star Platinum let go of Joseph's heart, it started to beat on its own. Joseph's body started to turn back to its normal self. He didn't look like a corpse anymore, and with the holes in his neck and chest patched up, there would be no blood leaving him.

   " Remarkable! Look at his skin! It's completely retained all of its color! His skin is filling out! "

   " My god! Brain activity too! "

   " I don't believe it! His vitals are stable as well! "

Joseph's eyes opened, and the doctors went ballistic seeing him awake. Jotaro didn't seem all too thrilled that Joseph had awoken, because around Joseph's body was a purple fire-like glow.

   " Old man? "

Joseph looked over at Dio's body before looking up at the ceiling and smirking. He sat up from the bed, unplugging the wires that connected Dio's body to his. He was laughing through the mask and his eyes had an evil glint in them.

   " You're a damn fool, Jotaro! "

   " You have got to be kidding! "

The gold fire glow appeared on Jotaro as he prepared to fight. Joseph took off the breathing mask on his face and continued to smirk at Jotaro.

   " All, you've done is ressurect yours truly! "

   " Bastard! "

Star Platinum came out and ready a punch, but before he could land it on Joseph's body, Joseph put his hands up, and the smirk was gone from his face.

   " Wait! Calm down Jotaro! It was a joke! I was just kidding! There's no need to get violent! I'm sorry! I was just trying to have some fun! "

Hermet Purple appeared, and the purple vines stemmed from Joseph's body, sparking Hamon.

   " You have my word it's me! I'm Joseph Joestar. I was born on September twenty-seventh, in 1920. My wife's name is Suzie Q and I collect comics as a hobby! "

   " I have a question for you. Who's the leading actress in Tarzan, the Ape Man?"

   " Bo Derek. "

   " Okay, now answer this one. Who sang 'Eat it' the spoof of 'Beat it'?"

   " Weird Al Yankovic. "

   " Good Grief, it has to be you. Who else would know pointless crap like that? " Jotaro asked with his gold glow going away with Star Platinum.

Joseph relaxed seeing Joseph wasn't going to hit him. He took all of the wires off his body and sat on the edge of the bed.

   " This is car two over! It's amazing, Mr. Joestar is back with us! He's come back from the brink of death! It's amazing! " The driver told the first car.

   " Good! But we're losing someone over in car one! "

   " What? "

   " Y/n's heartbeat is slowing down and she's not showing any brain activity! The doctor's can't figure out what they need to do, because the spot in her stomach is still missing with some organs. Jean Pierre Polnareff has awoken too and is trying to help! "

   " Y/n. . .Jotaro what happened!? " Joseph yelled looking at his grandson.

   " Y/n used her Endgame to defend me against Dio, and he stopped time before she could land the final blow. He punched her stomach like he did with Kakyoin. Her stand healed part of it, but there's still some missing. She's lost a lot of blood. "

   " Was she still alive when you brought her to the ambulance? "

   " Yeah, she was still breathing. "

   " Maybe she has a fighting chance. Has her stand appeared since she's been unconscious? "

   " No, and I'm thinking if her stand doesn't appear then she's already dead. "

   " Looks like we'll have to wait until we get to the hospital. "

   " Yeah. But I have something I want to do first, before we meet her at the hospital. "

Jotaro told the driver where to turn, and they went into the desert. There were ruins around them, but the sun was rising and it hit the Joestar's skin making them feel warm. Jotaro tossed the body bag onto the ground and unzipped it. Dio's body hung out of it and the sun hit the body. His body exploded into dust and the wind picked it up, taking it away, forever.

   " It's finally over. Dio took something precious from all of us. For a hundred years he's taken whatever he wanted. His appetite for power has been actionable. " Joseph said looking towards the dust flying away.

   " He's taken way too much, you realize that? "

   " Yeah, he's taken things from us that we'll never get back. The losses that we've endured on this journey stretch as far as the planet itself. But thanks to their sacrifices, we're here to tell the tale and carry on in their stead. "

After making sure the body was completely done away with, they left the bag and walked back into the ambulance. The driver told them you made it to the hospital but it still wasn't looking good. The ambulance drove to the hospital the Speedwagon Foundation had established and when the car stopped, Joseph and Jotaro jumped out. They walked inside and the doctors led them to the room you were residing in. They traveled up a couple of flights of stairs, but they reached your floor. The doctor guided the two men to your room. The hallway had big windows that looked into the single hospital rooms, and when they reached your room, they looked through the glass and smiled.

   " She'll be just fine. " Joseph said.

   " If she died after all of this, I don't know what I would've done. "

   " I agree. Out of all of us, she deserves to see it through and to live for everyone whom she once knew. "

Gold Spirit was floating by your bedside and healing the wound in your stomach. The reason she wasn't appearing before was that you used up your energy, and now you're energy was replenished and she could heal you. 

   " Excuse me, but Jotaro Kujo? "

   " Hmm? "

   " Do you possibly have the same blood type as Joseph Joestar? "

   " Yeah, what about it? "

   " Could we take some blood for Miss Y/n's recovery? She lost a lot of blood and with her stand healing the skin and tissue, but we still need some blood. "

   " Sure, take however much you need. "

   " Great, if you could, go into Miss, Y/n's room we'll take your blood after getting the tools. "

Jotaro nodded and walked into the room. You were peacefully laying on the bed, with the sheets pulled down to your knees. You were still in your clothes, but the whole in your stomach was almost gone. There was only a small section left. Jotaro took a chair and set it beside your bed and he waited for the doctor. Joseph looked at his grandson with a teasing smirk. He knew what Jotaro was feeling, and he hoped that now everything was over, you could start living for yourself.

   " Hey, Jotaro, when she wakes up, maybe you should take her to a candlelit dinner, or-"

   " Shut up, old man. . . I'll do what I want when she wakes up. " Jotaro said with his smirk still on his face.

The doctor came back in and started taking Jotaro's blood. When he finished, your stand had already healed you fully. They hung the blood on a rack and connected the wire to your wrist. The blood flow worked, and your body accepted the blood. With a healed body and blood being supplied to you, it started to wake you up.

Listen to the music now and I recommend putting it on repeat.

   ' Why does everything hurt? ' I asked myself.

I opened my eyes and sat up in the bed. I looked at where I was and found I was in a hospital room. I looked to my other side, away from the window outside of the building, and I saw Joseph and Jotaro. They both looked healthy and Joseph looked alive.

   " Joseph, JoJo? "

   " Hey, there short stack. " JoJo said smiling at you.

   " Hey! You're awake! " Joseph yelled.

Joseph hugged me first, and his hug was tight and warm. He pulled away and Jotaro didn't hug me, but he held my hand and rubbed his thumb on the back of my knuckles. I knew he didn't express a lot of emotions, and if he did he wanted to be alone.

   " What happened? The last thing I remember is making a deal with my stand and. . .I'm here. "

   " You used your stand's Endgame, to protect me from Dio. You fought him until he stopped time and turned you into a donut. "

   " And I lived? "

   " You're alive right now aren't you? "

   " It's just. . .I'm not used to living after the final battle. I always get taken somewhere else. "

   " Good grief. I promised you would stick around, and I've always held that promise up. Be grateful, and don't think about the past. "

   " Wow, I'm hurt, I am grateful. I just don't know what to do now. " You teased.

   " First, let's get you out of the hospital and then get back to Japan. We'll decide what to do when we get back. " Joseph said.

   " Okay. One step at a time. "

   " I'll go grab you some food, Y/n. You must be starving. "

I nodded and Joseph walked out of the room, and down the hall. I saw Star Platinum look into the hall, and then he came back into the room disappearing. Jotaro stood from his chair and let my hand go. He locked the door and shut the blinds to the window.

   " What are you doing? "

JoJo didn't say anything, but I felt him take a deep breath, before turning to me. He walked towards the bed and leaned over the side. I felt my face fluster a bit, and his hand reached up to hold one side of my face. 

   " I don't know what I would have done if I lost you. "

JoJo connected your foreheads together, and your heart started to beat faster in your chest. His breath smelled like cigarettes, but you didn't mind. 

   " You would have been fine. "

   " No, I wouldn't have. "

Jotaro connected his lips with yours, and your eyes fluttered closed. You kissed him back and wrapped your arms around his neck. Jotaro's left arm wrapped around you and brought you closer to him, and he sat on the bed. His free hand stayed on your cheek. The kiss was loving and soft. You could feel all of his emotions through the kiss. Your heart slowed down to its regular pace, and you both pulled away from the kiss. Your foreheads stayed together, however, and Jotaro's eyes gazed into yours. You started to get lost in them, and you couldn't escape the trance his bright eyes were putting you under.

   " I wouldn't have been okay, because I love you too damn much to let you go. And I don't intend on letting you go ever again. "

   " Is this really Jotaro Kujo in front of me? Usually JoJo isn't this romantic. "

   " Shut up, you bitch. "

   " Then, kiss me again, you softy. "

   " Maybe I will. "

JoJo's lips encased yours again, and this kiss was full of love. His hand on your cheek slid down to the back of your neck, and your arms stayed behind his neck. You pulled out of the kiss and hugged him. He hugged you back and held you as close as he could get.

   " I guess you were right. You're the Joestar that's ending the cycle for the Joestar Protector. "

   " I told you. "

   " I know. . .I know you did. You also said that you're going to make sure we last. "

   " And we're going too, promise. "

   " You and your promises. "

   " I haven't fallen short of a promise and I never intend to with you. When Jotaro Kujo promises something, he always follows through. "

   " Again, with all the romance. Where's the old JoJo? "

   " Shut up. "

I heard a click and I pulled away from JoJo and looked out of the window to the hospital room. The window was open and there was a purple vine in the window holding a camera. JoJo looked in the same direction I was, and I knew he was mad.

   " Old man! "

JoJo left my bed and walked to the open window. The vine disappeared, and I could hear Joseph's laugh. I got up from the bed and slowly made my way over to the window dragging my wires with me. I looked out and saw Joseph leaning out of a window below us. He was smiling and laughing his head off.

   " Thatta boy, Jotaro! "

   " How did you even get into that room? Isn't that a patient's room? " I asked.

   " Nope! It's totally vacant! "

The picture was printed, in two and Joseph took one and put it in his pocket.

   " I'm going to keep this! I'll have to put it in Holly's scrap book! "

   " Old man, give me that picture! "

   " Sure thing, Jotaro! "

Hermit Purple brought up the second picture and Jotaro snatched it from the vine.

   " I made two! I'm definitely giving this one to Holly for her scrapbooks! Have fun love birds! "

Joseph disappeared from the window and it shut. I leaned back through the window and looked at the picture. In the picture, it was of JoJo and I hugging, but I knew if he had one picture of us hugging there were bound to be more. Jotaro put the picture in his jacket pocket and turned back to me. 

   " Get back in bed, you were just healed. You'll open something. "

   " Excuse me, I'm older than you I have the authority. "

   " Fine then, you stubborn ass. "

Jotaro picked me up in a bridal fashion and set me on the bed. He sat beside me on the bed, reading through a magazine with his arm around me. I felt comfortable, and everything felt right. That was until the lock started to jiggle on the door. The handle fell out of the door and I recognized the Frenchman who opened the door.

   " Mon cheri! "

   " Polnareff! "

Polnareff ran to the other side of the bed and hugged me tightly. 

   " I'm glad you're okay, after getting thrown into that wall, I thought I was done for. Thank you for saving my life again. "

   " I'll always have your back Pol, no matter what. "

   " I know you will. And hey! This picture Mister Joestar gave me looks scandelous, don't you think? "

Polnareff showed us the picture that Joseph took and this one was different than the one he had given Jotaro. This one was of our kiss. I felt my face heat up at the picture and Jotaro only smirked.

   " Yeah? I think it looks pretty great. " JoJo replied.

Polnareff continued to tease us about the photo when Joseph got back to the room with food. He set the tray of food in front of me, and I started eating. JoJo would take a few pieces of food from my plate here and there, but I didn't mind. JoJo laid against the wall with his legs on the bed, and he had his arm wrapped around me, holding me close, as we sat up in the bed, leaned against the wall, and talking with everyone. Everyone was joyous and everything seemed at peace with the world. Everything felt fine, and my heart felt lighter.

   " You doin okay? " JoJo asked you.

You looked up at him and nodded, smiling.

   " I'm just happy. I got stay this time and everything seems fine now. We're all laughing and joking around as we've just had the biggest accomplishment in our lives. Though I guess we have done something pretty praise-worthy. Everything just. . .seems right. "

JoJo didn't say anything and just rested the side of his head on mine with a small, smile on his face. For the first time, since I met Dio, I relaxed against Jotaro. It felt like we fit together perfectly. The sun was shining down on the hospital room, and Joseph was goofing around with Polnareff. Everything was at peace, and everything pointed to this chapter closing. I knew that I wouldn't be able to leave this time, with Jotaro by my side. I knew he wouldn't touch the birthmark, and I heard that the doctors were coming up with a way to put something over it to make it touchable, by the Joestars, in case something happened, I wouldn't be sent away.

   " I love you, Y/n. " He whispered.

   " I love you too, JoJo. "

Everything was going to be just fine.
