The Jinchuuriki Alliance - Chapter 9 - Naruto's Truth

The moment Naruto entered the house he was grabbed and dragged into the living room.

"Where have you been?!" Kakashi asked him angrily.

Naruto smacked Kakashi's hand away from his collar and glared, what the Copy-Cat Ninja was doing was rude, annoying, and just plain bullshit.

"None of your business Sensei." He spat with an edge.

Kakashi narrowed his eyes and prepared to say something, but Sasuke stepped forward, "Kakashi, this isn't going to solve anything." He sighed.

Naruto tilted his head and sneered, "The Uchiha is right, Sensei, lets sort this out like civilised human beings."

Sakura nodded, "Sasuke-kun is right Kakashi-sensei!"

Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi just rolled their eyes at her.

"Useless pink-haired bitch." Naruto muttered.

"You could never be righter about something dobe." Sasuke agreed with an eye-roll.

"What?!" Sakura screeched, not hearing what they were saying, and wanting to know what her precious Sasuke-kun was talking about.

"Be quiet Sakura, you're giving me a headache." Kakashi massaged his temples with a sigh.

Sakura looked like she was about to protest but with a glare from Naruto she quickly shut up.

Naruto sat down and a lady put some food in front of him, "Hello, I am Tsunami, Tazuna's daughter, thank you for protecting my father up to this point." She said with a smile.

Naruto allowed a small smile to crawl its way onto his face, "No problem." He said to the kind lady.

Tsunami nodded and brought the rest of the food to the table.

While this was happening, all Kakashi was doing was continuing to glare at Naruto.

'What the hell's going on inside Naruto's head?! Following the evil Mizukage and being alone with him, who knows what could have happened?! And if he didn't come back! Oh Kami! The Hokage would execute me!' He thought fiercely.

Sasuke picked up his chopstick, "So, how was it Naruto?"

Naruto nodded, "Good, actually."

Sasuke raised an eyebrow, "Really? How so?"

Naruto prepared to eat, "It was calming, a change of pace I suppose. Yagura's very hospitable."

Kakashi blinked.

Were they even talking about the same Mizukage? Yagura? In charge of the Village Of The Bloody Mist? According to the many stories, Yagura was a ruthless killer.

Naruto's words didn't make sense to Kakashi at all.

"What do you mean?" Kakashi asked.

Naruto looked down onto his food, "Exactly how it sounds like, he's kind, and interesting. We have a lot in common."

Sakura gulped, what could Naruto have in common with a bloodthirsty killer?

"What do you have in common?" Sasuke asked, not really bothered by the situation.

Naruto shrugged, "Meh, just being treated like the prisoner instead of the prison."

Sasuke didn't understand but he nodded anyway, "Ah."

Kakashi's eyes widened, 'Prisoner? Prison? Does that mean... The Kyuubi! But Yagura... Is he also a Jinchuuriki?'

Naruto sighed, "How troublesome, Zabuza will probably come back and we must help finish the bridge."

Sasuke rolled his eyes, "You sound like a Nara."

Naruto cocked an eyebrow, "Do I?"

Sasuke shrugged with a nod.

"Ha, so I do."

Kakashi narrowed his eyes, "Nevertheless, we have to complete the mission and go back to Konoha straight after we're done."

Naruto raised his eyebrow, "Is that so?"

Kakashi nodded, "Yes." He studied Naruto's form.

"I'm going to have to think about that." Naruto muttered.

'It doesn't seem like Yagura did anything to Naruto, but this doesn't make sense.' Kakashi thought. 'Everything I know about Yagura isn't making any sense right now.'

Naruto picked up his chopsticks, "Itatakimasu~" He said, and started eating.

Sasuke shrugged and put the filled chopstick in his mouth, "I like this food." He commented quietly.

Naruto nodded, "Yeah, same." He ate more.

Kakashi just looked at Naruto, 'Is he seriously just going to pretend that NOTHING is wrong? Really?'

Naruto smiled, "So how was your day Sasuke?"

"Reasonably uneventful." The Uchiha answered in monotone.

Kakashi sweatdropped, 'Yeah, he actually is... He is literally pretending that nothing happened! Kami help me.'

Kakashi eyed Naruto and nearly glared, Naruto caught his eye and smirked.

"Yes Kakashi-sensei?"

Kakashi shut his eye and exhaled sharply, trying to calm down, "Nothing Naruto, nothing at all." He replied with a fake smile.

Naruto blinked and shrugged, biting once more into his food.

"Tsunami-san, your food was delicious, thank you very much." Naruto said with a smile.

Tsunami smiled, "No problem, Naruto-san."

Sakura's eye twitched, "Where were you anyway Naruto?!"

Naruto, Kakashi and Sasuke just stared at her. Just stared.

"Why are you all looking at me like that?" She asked nervously.

Naruto stood up, "Sakura, do us a favour." He narrowed his eyes. "Shut the fuck up." Then left the room.

Kakashi rolled his eye, "He's actually right."

Sasuke nodded, "Yes, he is."

Sakura just blinked, hitting her head on the table and let out a cry of annoyance. "Ugh!"

Naruto stepped outside and exhaled, smiling at the scent of grass and flowers.

"Who are you?" A voice asked rudely.

Naruto turned and blinked as he saw a little boy with a white and blue hat on, glaring at him in anger. Naruto raised his eyebrow in question.

"Me?" Naruto pointed to himself. The boy nodded quickly. "My name is Uzumaki Naruto."

"Well then Uzumaki Naruto! You have no right of being in the Wave Country!"

Naruto raised a single eyebrow.

"Go away! You'll never win against Gato! You're gonna die!" The boy screamed.

Naruto rolled his eyes, "No I won't."

"YOU WILL!"

"No, not really. I'm stronger than you, I don't give up." Naruto shrugged.

"You don't understand a thing about me! You don't know anything about pain!" The boy shouted, his fists clenched.

Naruto's eye twitched, he clenched his fists and glared at the boy. "Excuse me?" He hissed.

"You walk around happily!? You don't know what it's like to suffer!" The boy shouted at him, pointing an accusing finger.

That's when Naruto snapped.

He let out a burst of chakra and the ground around him cracked and exploded, he walked up to the boy slowly with a sick grin and poked his head.

The boy suddenly got a rush of past memories from Naruto's mind, all of the pain, sorrow and thoughts of murder and death.

Flashback!

He wanted to cry.

He wanted to disappear.

They struck him with some more whips, it lashed across his body like a current hitting the beach. Violent. Ruthless. They wanted to kill him. No remorse.

This boy was only, what? Four years old? Yeah, only four.

They screamed at him, "Monster! Demon!"

He wanted to hide away from all of the anger that the villagers sent towards him, his body was slowly going numb from the pain, several streaks of red flesh was glowing from the lashes.

"We'll finish what the Yondaime Hokage started!"

Then he knew, he had an inkling, a feeling, that he was a monster, a demon.

Why else would they treat him like this?

But by then, he had already fallen unconscious and blacked out, nothing was left, his brain vanished those feelings of him being a demon.

He didn't remember anything, but the pain.

Next Flashback!

Naruto didn't like the fact that on his birthday, October 10th, he had to hide. It was also the Kyuubi festival, and the villagers decided it would be a good idea to try and hurt him some more.

Naruto didn't know why.

Naruto didn't know how.

Naruto didn't understand a thing about it.

Currently, he was hiding in his closet, villagers were in his apartment, in his house, trying to find him. To hurt him some more, it was like a sport to them.

Sometimes, he wanted to run away just to see who would miss him. He didn't think anyone would after all, perhaps only Jiji, the Sandaime Hokage would wonder where he was, but would he miss him? Naruto didn't know, he had no idea.

These thoughts... he didn't know where they would come from.

Sometimes the whispers just came in the corner of his mind, hissing at him, laughing, laughing at him.

Why did they hate him? Was it because he was an orphan?

No, that couldn't possibly be it.

There were many orphans in Konoha, why did it make him any different?

He was in mid-thought, when suddenly, the closet door swung open.

"Found you, you little shit." The villager, deeply intoxicated with alcohol, spat out. Naruto could smell the dreadful stench.

"P-P-Please... Do-Don't..." He stuttered, tears welling up in his eyes, looking fearfully at the man, holding the knife.

The man just grinned, lavender-white eyes without pupils trained on him.

A Hyuuga.

Ah, Hyuuga's knew how to make it hurt.

They were masters at Taijutsu, hand-to-hand combat. They knew all the areas which could kill him.

"It's better to make you pay for killing my family, you little fucker." The Hyuuga grinned, MURDER screaming in his eyes.

"P-P-Please..." Naruto sobbed. He didn't like his life.

He hated it.

The man just grinned and cackled, raising the knife, wanting, no, NEEDING, to finish the job off.

Naruto looked up at the man, a small smile playing on his lips, thinking...

Maybe it would be better this way?

Maybe he was a monster.

So he let the man do what he wanted. Hit him, scratched him, cut him, laughed at him, did whatever he wanted to do.

Naruto just wanted to be happy.

End Flashback!

The little boy threw up, eyes teary and he was crying heavily, sobbing. He collapsed to the ground after the memories of Naruto's life as a child struck him.

"NARUTO!" A scream was heard from a familiar pink-haired banshee and Naruto turned and glared at her.

It was a strange and pitiful sight. The blond boy was standing over a smaller collapsed figure, with cold, hard eyes glaring. Inari heavin heavily with a puddle of vomit in front of him.

"N-Naruto... What are you doing...?" Sakura stuttered.

"Inari! Inari where are you?!" Tsunami walked outside and came upon the sight of her little boy on the ground. "Inari!"

"Naruto... What did you do?" Kakashi had walked outside to see what all the commotion was, and was shocked by the sight of Naruto standing over Inari.

Naruto stared at them with a blank face, no emotion was being shown. They used to say the eyes were the gateways to the soul. But not to Naruto right now.

Kakashi stared at him, "Naruto?"

Naruto looked up at him, and answered simply.

"It wasn't a good method but, it showed him real pain."
