Naruto sighed.

Natsumi fiddled with her fingers nervously.

Sasuke's eyebrow twitched. Once. Twice. Thrice.

"Where the hell is our-" The Uchiha was cut off from his angry burst by the blonde how quickly put a hand over his mouth.

"Patience, Ke, patience," the boy reminded gently.

(I was imaging how Sasuke would be if he wasn't emo. So basically he's the opposite of himself in the anime)

Sasuke rolled his eyes as his brother removed his hand. "Yeah, yeah, whatever. But we've been waiting hours!"

"Then that means we've got Kakashi Hatake," Naruto said calmly. "While we wait, why don't we get to know each other better? Natsumi, was it? Can you start?"

Natsumi jumped a little as he turned his piercing blue eyes on her.

"O-Of course. Um, I'm Natsumi Uzumaki-Namikaze. Um. . ."

"Your likes, dislikes, hobbies, dream for the future?" Naruto prodded her gently.

"Oh! Okay! I like ramen and my family. Oh, and my new friend Ino! I dislike mean people. I don't like it when my parents are too busy to help me because then I'm all alone and I don't like being alone. . . I think that's it. My dream for the future. . . is to be the first female Hokage!" Natsumi smiled.

Naruto smiled kindly while Sasuke's mouth twitched upwards a bit. That was his best attempt to smile one of the people who caused his best friend and brother so much pain.

"I'll go," Naruto offered. "My name is Naruto Uchiha. I like my family, ramen and training. I don't like people who neglect others and those who cannot tell the difference between a scroll and the kunai sealed within it. My dream is to become a great leader. It doesn't matter what village or what organization, and make sure that no one feels alone."

Natsumi was surprised at Naruto's introduction. It seemed like he had been neglected, and she wondered why he disliked people who couldn't tell the kunai and the scroll. It wasn't as if he had something sealed inside him. . . right?

"My turn," Sasuke chirped.

Natsumi sweatdropped at the obvious attitude change.

"I'm Sasuke Uchiha. I like my family, tomatoes and training. My dislikes are the same as my brother, and my dream is to surpass my older brother, Itachi Uchiha, as well as help Naruto with his dream."

'They are obviously dedicated to each other,' Natsumi thought. 'Teamwork won't be a problem for those two. But would they work with me? Naruto most definitely. He's very nice. But Sasuke? I get the feeling he doesn't trust easily, but if Naruto works with me, he'll work with his brother too, right? ' 

"Yo!" A poof was heard in the room. "My first impression of you guys. . . you're boring. Meet me on the roof."

Naruto and Sasuke shrugged before each taking on of Natsumi's hands and poofed away.

Sorry for the short chapter, guys! I was just busy preparing for my RoboCats comp. in Sydney. Four days after that, I'm off to Hong Kong for DGS Cultural Exchange Students Program, then on the holidays, I'm going to Korea then Macaw. So you might not hear from me for a while. I'll try my best to update quickly though, because I've got such good plans for this story!!
