Guys, I cannot believe how far this story has gone, and I am very sorry that I could not update for the past week. I swear I have a good reason!!

I was competing in the First Robotic's Competition (FRC) in Sydney!

For six weeks (summer holiday) we, the all-girls' Melbourne Robocats, have been in Swinburne University, working on our very own 55-kilo robot, Aloysius. 👇

We, high-school students, (Years 8 - 11) have built this robot ourselves with the help of some mentors.

In the early qualification matches, we rose quickly to 2nd place, but due to our climbing mechanism breaking down, we fell all the way to 24th.

Luckily the Barker Redbacks and the Lightning Bots chose us, Team #5648, as their alliance. Without them, we wouldn't be able to compete in the semi-finals and finals.

AND WE WON!!!!!!! WE'RE THE REGIONAL WINNERS!!!

You simply cannot imagine how ecstatic we all were - I believe some of us are suffering temporary hearing damage after all the screaming and cheering we have done in the past few days. 😅😅

Sorry I haven't updated, but I promise I will!! I swear, by the end of today, you will have a new chapter on this story and "ToKeRa".
