I entered the room we've been trying to reach for so long. Upon entering, I could understand why this was so heavily guarded. The jewel radiated power, a feeling that you can achieve anything. A sense of security.

The jewel sent ripples down my biceps

Lark looked at her watch.

"Only a thirty seconds left before the rain stops."

Delilah took the jewel, and gazed at it, mesmerized. She shook her head and chanted;

"Eratum coh musoiterp medipal ni alcniu!"

The light of the jewel intensified, and the power that the jewel radiated faded away. A small red bracelet was resting on Delilah's palm. The room lost its warm light.

We all looked admiringly at Delilah.

"Can you create an illusion of the jewel as well?"

Delilah nodded and mumbled a few words. Almost immediately afterwards, a flash appeared and a copy of the ruby was standing before us. Darwith turned our way.

"Come on. Let's go."

We turned away to leave, but nagging feeling made me turn around.

Staring intensely back at me was ice blue eyes.

Gale.

"It seems as if I don't need to steal the jewel."

Lark and the others spun around. Delilah gave gasp of surprise. Darwith snorted. Lark just stood there, unmoving. I was the one who replied.

"Yes. We already stole the jewel. Would you like to join us? That way would be best."

Gale stood there for awhile. He obviously didn't want to. However, in the end, logic and reasoning got to him and he agreed.

"Only if you don't annoy me."

We nodded. With Gale's superior invisibility skill, it was going to be far easier to steal the other jewels from now on. We went through the way we came from (Darwith made sure the wall was back in it's original position again).

Popping back down the hole we dug, Delilah sealed the tunnel so that none of the guards will see it. We walked with a sense of accomplishment. Gale, however, kept his head down and held emotionless. The lanterns flickered a warm glow as I picked them up and place them back into my bottomless backpack.

Mission successful.
