Chapter 1:

I was in heaven. All around harps played as I hugged the fluffy cloud near me. I wanted to stay here forever. But I guess it just wasn’t meant to be.

Someone yanked the cloud from me and I toppled down with a huge thud. I opened my eyed groggily and looked up. Suddenly the light hit my eyes and I got blinded for a minute. After my eyes adjusted to the light, I stared up to my mother. Apparently she was the reason why I fell off my bed.

“ Blair Anna Wilson. Please tell me what are you doing at this hour when you are supposed to be downstairs for breakfast?”, my mom demanded angrily.

“ Oh god mom are you even serious its just..” I grumbled and threw a look towards the clock and shot up from the floor “Oh god dammit I’m late.”

“ Just get ready and be down for breakfast. I don’t get how you are so lazy. Not gotten from me.” My mom spoke in a tired voice and walked out of the room.

I sighed and walked towards my closet because I had no time to take a shower. I threw up a crop top with a vintage jacket with some black ripped jeans. I pulled my hair up in a ponytail and applied a bit of eyeliner and lip gloss and grabbed my bag and strolled in the kitchen.

My mom gave me an eye but I pretended I didn’t notice anything. After kissing my little sister on the head and greeting my dad, who was outside in the garden watering the plants, I went up to my car. It was this cute blue car that I had got for sixteen birthday.

I drove towards my school. I drove in the parking lot and got out of the car. I immediately spotted my best friend Mina coming towards me.

Mina had blonde hair with big green eyes and ran for the sports club vice president. While I on the other hand, was never in sport. I was this simple girl with black hair and big grey eyes and pale skin who can see sitting in corner with her nose in the book.

Actually I was this nerd but ever since I had made friends with some of the popular people in our high school, I kept this nerd side of me a secret. I ran for the student council writing president but I always bunked classes to show my friends I wasn’t that much of a nerd. Only Mina knew my passion for reading and writing and despite her constant nagging of showing everyone what I had, I choose to keep quiet about it. I had been very different back then but I’m grateful for where I am today, even though I miss the shy girl back in seventh grade who used to be the teacher’s pet.

“Hey Blair! Guess what? This is our final year and then we are out of this place they call highschool “, Mina exclaimed excitedly.

I grunted because normally I hated people being excited the first thing in the morning but hearing her be so happy about leaving Victoria High, I chuckled and said

“ Wow that’s a lot coming from a girl who loves to run sports and crush on the quarterback of our team.”

“ Shhhhh stop it Blair, I don’t like Matthew “, Mina uttered with a huge blush on her face.

“yeah right you cannot fool me” I chuckled and went inside.

I merely said hi back to all the people who greeted me. Somehow I was used to people greeting me everywhere I go. Guess the perks of being famous that people seem to acknowledge your presence anywhere.

I opened my locker and got out books for the first class. I headed towards my class. I took up my seat next to Linda, a punk girl who I had known due to the volunteering program for lost dogs I did last summer. We all sat and suddenly there was this guy standing near the teacher’s desk.

I’d never seen him before, must be new. Mr Oaks rapped his hand to get our attention and spoke “ So, today we have a new exchange student from California. This is Ryder Adams. He had exceedingly amazing grades and we are honored he decided to continue his last year in school at Victoria High”.

Looking up to the guy to get a good look who got Mr Oaks so wrapped up, I was actually surprised to see his appearance. He was way taller than me, with black brown hair that fell carelessly and big brown eyes that seemed to go on forever. I heard a sigh from beside me and I saw Linda drooling at him too. That is when I took a look around the whole classroom I saw nearly all the girls gawking at him.

I suddenly felt a bitter pang run inside me. Woah woah what was that? I cannot feel something for a guy I just met. The class ended as soon as it started. I went to the cafeteria where I saw my flyer with my words on it. It was about the social week coming up and about prom. So I had one of my writings on it to have some Cupid love in the air. But as always no one knew I wrote it. That was the part of the deal with Miss Green. I smiled as I read the words,

To be very honest love has never found a meaning. Says in the dictionary that its a strong affection for someone. Then why'd we feel our hearts are going to burst when we see them. How their voice soothes our inner chaotic self. How we are willing to do anything for that person. But then comes the hard part. Being and falling in love is the most easiest part, where we fall in with the soul and the mind of the other person. But how to win it? That's the hard part. Look, all your love has to is to be pure. Everything you do, they never seem to notice. You seem to go on and on, but if it doesn't respond, trust me its not love, its just lust playing a trick. We all know that Romeo met Juliet at a party. How did he get there? That too at his enemy's house? Cannot be a coincidence can't it? Well before Juliet, Romeo thought he was in love with another women that was Rosalind. However Rosalind never noticed him. He then found out by a servant that she was going to the part hosted by Juliet's Father. That is how he met her. Winning love is never easy, but if your love is true for that person, your Aura, your actions, your words are enough for that. Winning love is such an illusion that we fail to see. Wars have been done, blood had been shed. Yet the simple truth is, if you have what is called pure love, they shall be there when you need them. At that moment where you felt that you should give up on

Love, they shall respond because love is the only thing that transcends all. Even now, when people say that I loved that person and they betrayed me, trust me, years from now they would be sitting with the true one that was there always and remember if they weren't heartbroken, they might never find their happy ending.

I felt a sense of pride coming up. I took the flyer and snuck it in my purse and was about to go towards the cafeteria when I bumped into someone.

I looked up and saw the new exchange student. He smirked showing the pearly whites of which, by the looks of it, he was proud of.

“ Hey so usually I don’t stop to talk to nerds and all, but I guess you can tell me. I want to know who wrote this?”  He held up the flyer of the social week.

I gulped and spoke up “ I don’t know who wrote it. You can obviously ask a teacher instead of blocking my way. And no I’m not a nerd

He gave a deep chuckle and said “ oh yeah and I’m Donald Trump. Nice try princess but you cannot fool me. I happen to have eyes."

“ You don’t know anything about me so you don’t need to assume things on your own” I snapped and walked away.

God the nerves! That guy randomly assumed that I’m a nerd and made fun out of me. Well if he wants it like that he is going to get it.  I smirked as I thought that I am no ordinary girl he can play with. I’m Blair Wilson and I have a way of doing everything my way.

Hey guys! So basically I had deleted all the books I had here before then and decided I needed to start something new. I had been off Wattpad for a long while now but I decided coming back with a new story. So here is the first chapter. It is basically not that much just the encounter of  Blair and Ryder.
