- Ken's Point of View -

"Alright Teg, I got the tickets for the flight back home. You know it's kinda weird to thi-"

"I'm not going back with you, Ken," Teg told me, stuffing her hoody in a canvas bag.

"Um, yes you are."

"No, I'm not!"

"Yes you are! Maria's gonna kill me if you don't come back with us...Not to mention the rest of your army."

"Oh come on, you're over reacting...We're not larger then a platoon."

Tegan continued stuffing the few things she had in the bag and grabbed it away from her, holding it at arms length, out of her reach. She tried grabbing it but she wasn't tall enough and when she jumped I simply pushed her back down.

"You're going!" I told her.

"No, I'm, NOT!"

"Yes, you, ARE!"

"Fine, I'll go without my hoody," she finally said, ruining my whole plan.

"Well if you're not going home then neither am I."

"Oh no you're not!"

"Yes, I am!"

"No, you're not!"

"If you're staying, I'm staying. I'm responsible for you."

"Hah, who told you that?"

"I'm the oldest, there for the responsible one."

"Guys, we've come to a conclusion," Tanya said, walking into the room followed by the others.

"We're not leaving until we fix this cloning problem."

Both Teg and me looked at them and I threw my head back groaning.

"OH GOOD GRIEF!!!!! WHY DOES EVERYBODY HAVE A CONSCIENCE???"

"Ken, you just have to except it. The world is against you," Teg told me, trying hard not to say I told you so.

-Tegan's Point of View-

So, we all decided that it would be best to get the spider in his web, so we split up into groups to find out where we had lost Mr. Creepy and his gang, agreeing to meet back at the Capital. 
I was with Tanya, Tehya was with Pete, Thea was with Ken, Emily was with look, and Rosie stayed at the hotel. 

Tanya and me were scanning the East part of town, trying not to be seen, but still trying to seem casual...Which was not the easiest thing ever. We wanted to see Creepy before he saw us, so we had to make to sure to look all around. 

"D.C. is huge! It's gonna be midnight before we ever find them, that is if we do," Tanya explained after about 2 hours of searching.

I was beginning to have doubts myself and I sat down at a street cafe table, tapping my finger on the wooden surface.

"You're probably right. Maybe we should just alert the authorities and go home."

At the moment, going home seemed like the best thing in the world. Back to my own bed, no matter how warn out, my own kitchen, my own food...My own Charlie Chaplin movies.

"Maybe we shou-" Tanya started but I cut her off, my eyes growing wide as I looked at the table in front of us.

I quickly grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her behind the coat wrack.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Look at the table in front of us."

Tanya turned her head to look and immediately covered her mouth with her hand, her eyes growing as big as walnuts. 

"Are you kidding me?" She hissed in a lowered tone.

"They were there the whole time? It's a miracle they didn't hear us."

"Yeah. All we have to do now is wait for them to start walking."

And for that, we didn't have to wait long. They had quickly finished whatever it was they were eating and started walking off down the street at a swift pace. Tanya and me ran after them, making sure not to look too obvious.

They walked for a while, but eventually came to a tall silver building that looked official...Although, most buildings in the city do. When they walked through the door we saw them giving their ID to a Police officer.

"Dang nab it!" I hissed.

"We won't be able to get in without ID."

"We could go through the back door."

"They'd only let us through if we were dressed as maids or something like that."

"Do you remember Sue's credit card number?" Tanya asked me.

Suddenly her plan actually sounded like a good idea.

"I do indeed. Come on!"

We rushed to a costume store we had seen on the way and found a couple of electrician costumes and a tool box. We also found an epic top hat that I really wanted, but Tanya reminded me that we were busy trying to save the country.

Next we changed into our costumes in a restaurant bathroom and then ran as fast as we could back to the building.

We tried are best to seem casual as we slipped through the backdoor and as we walked through the laundry room we passed a couple Police men on their break. I held my breath the whole time and as we passed I heard one of them say, "Train em' young. That's what I was always taught."

"I agree completely Jim," the other officer answered.

Tanya giggled a little but we quickly composed ourselves, walking into the entrance room. We quietly sauntered over to the elevator and it seemed like an eternity while we waited for the door to open.

"Hey!" We heard a policeman call from the door.

I quickly said goodbye to my life and turned around as the officer walked up to us.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked.

"Room 234 called for assistance. One of their lights is acting up, they asked if we could check it out...Off the record," I lied.

The man stared at us with piercing eyes and it seemed as though he could read my mind. Then he shrugged and walked back to his post by the door. Both Tanya and me let out a shaky breath practically running into the elevator as the doors opened.

"That was close," Tanya said, the sentence layered with relieved laughter.

I smiled at her and we made our way to the top of the building where I knew the control room would be. And of course, I was right.

"What are you doing?" Tanya asked, following me into the room.

"You're a tech nerd, right?"

"Tech wiz!"

"Oh yeah, sorry. Anyway, those two guys we were following had a tool box with them. Probably meaning that one of them is the building tech. If we can somehow make a glitch in the system, he should come up here. Then we can just follow him back."

"Tegan, you're a genius!" Tanya praised, moving toward the circuit board.
