Chapter 17
- Tanya's Point of View -
This is soooooooo not cool, I thought. We've got to get out of this.
"We've got to get out of this Pete." I said, voicing my thoughts.
"You think I haven't discovered that yet? Rosie's freaking out."
I glanced over to where Rosie was sitting, her face as pale as sour cream. Even if Pete was 'tough love' type of fellow, in a situation like this, he always put others first.
"Well, I think we all are...Just some are handling it better." I said, looking to the boy and girl seated in the very back.
"Those two don't seem to be alarmed; but then again, for all we know, they could be just as freaked out as we are."
"True...How in the world does she look so much like you guys?" Pete asked, nodding toward my sisters.
"I mean, you're not fourplits are you?"
"Nooooooo, definitely not. Maybe she's just a look alike."
"Well, she's the least of my worries right now. What in the world do they want us for? We haven't done anything wrong....Or have we?" He implied, giving me the eye.
"Hey! I didn't do anything wrong. I only talk big."
"Alright, maybe you didn't. But for all we know, any one of...them...could be a criminal."
Just then Rosie walked over to us, looking up at me with big eyes.
"What's going on, Tanya?" She asked.
Even though she was 12, she was very frail...Like a flower.
"I don't know, Rosie. None of us do."
"Why do those girls look just like you?"
"Well, two of them are my triplet sisters...You know, I told you about them."
"But who's the third?"
I exchanged a glance with Pete, then glanced over to where the look alike was sitting, looking out the window.
"I...I don't know."
Then she leaned her head on my shoulder.
"I'm scared." Was all she said.
"So am I."

- Tegan's Point of View -
"That's it!" I said, standing up.
I actually, didn't really realize how loud I had said it, because everyone stared at me like I was insane.
"What's it?" Ken asked, looking up at me, not sure if he wanted to pretend not to know me.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm not just gonna sit around here and wait for things to happen."
I could see that the two called Tanya and....Peter....Glanced at each other then back at me.
"Agreed," Tanya said.
"But what can we do?"
I opened my mouth to answer, then I realized that I had no plan.
"I don't know." I told her, sitting back down.
"Oh....Well we gotta do something!"
"We could take over the plain." Tehya suggested.
"Do any of you know how to fly a plain?" I asked, looking at each of them.
"Afraid not...And who knows how to overtake 20 men?" Luke asked.
"Oh that's not a problem," I said.
"There are eight of us, and 20 of them." Thea told me, looking at the facts of the situation.
"Yes, but the door into their part of the plain is extremely small and easy to block, and if they do happen to get through the door, they'll only be able to do it two at a time. Just stand behind the door and nock them over the head as they come out...But that's not the problem. Obviously, we don't be able to overtake the plain, simple for the fact that we can't fly it. We'll just have to wait till we get to wherever we're going."
Tanya slouched in her seat and grunted.
"I hate waiting." She said, stating the obvious.
................................................................................................
We finally flew into a private, airport, thingy, and we weren't allowed to get out of the plain until the pilot came back.
"You will leave single file, escorted by the guards we have assigned to you. You will not try any funny business, and you will not try and escape. Now go." He said, opening the door.
First Tanya, Peter, and Rosie went out, then Luke and Thea, then Tehya and Emily, then Ken and me. I stepped off the plane onto a carpeted tunnel with no windows.
"Man, they must really think we're dangerous." I said to Ken, who nodded emphatically.
We walked strait into a high ceilinged building, again with no windows, and were led to an elevator, going down maybe 10 stories before we stopped. The room we went into was a bit more cozy then the other, but still had no windows. There was a couch and a coffee table, but no drinks or food, which is what most of them wanted at the time. We all sat down, looking around nervously at the guns that wouldn't move from our heads. Then a tall, thin, man walked in, carrying a binder.
"You may be wondering why you're here." He said, sitting down behind the big black desk that was on the other side of the room.
"So I won't beat around the bush...You are a government project."
Suddenly, my stomach jolted and I felt as though I was going to be sick. A government project? What's that suppose to mean?
- Hey guys! Sorry for the short chapter, but I'm really tired and I thought this was a good spot to finish it off. So, please, tell me what you think and votes never go unnoticed. Thanks :D - Anna
