Chapter 15

- Peter's Point of View -

"Dude, this is so not cool." Tanya said, peaking through the window.

"What? What is it?" I asked.

We had decided that one of us had to look through the window, but the problem was that it was two high up for either of us to look through. So Tanya forced me to let her get on my shoulders.

"Okay, I'm not sure exactly what's not cool, but I'm sure something isn't." Tanya corrected herself.

"Whaaa...?"

"It looks like a laboratory of some sort...There's a bunch of realistic manikins all lined up in a row....It's kind of creepy."

"Yeah...Especially your history with manikins." I mumble.

"Hey! That was a long time ago. You shouldn't dwell on the past.....Hiley ga coo!!!"

"Um....You accidently said it in German again." I informed her.

"Oh! Sorry."

"What did you say?"

"Holy cow."

Rose giggled.

"Why?"

"A couple dudes - scientists I think - just brought in this weird machine looking thingy."

"What?" I asked.

"It looks like a....a....A photo booth!"

"What?"

"You know, those things that take pictures in a row...It also has this weird scan thingy."

"What?"

"Stop saying that!"

"Sorry."

"Alright, come down from there and put your hands above your heads. All of you!" A voice said from behind us.

I swung around to see, causing Tanya to fall a full 6 feet.

"Why you..." She started, but stopped as soon as she saw the 44 the man was toting.

"You're not suppose to be here....How much did you see?" He asked.

"Well now why would we tell you that?" Tanya said.

I groaned on the inside as she said it. Tanya, nice as she was, had no sense of tact. She was brutally honest.

"Well then, I guess we'll just have to make sure you don't tell anyone else as well."

Oh great!

- Luke's Point of View -

"Where to now?" I asked, starting the engine to Thea's annoying truck.

"I da'no. We have to stop at the grocery store to get a few things, then I'd say we move on to Oregon."

We drove out of the driveway of the room and board and made our way to the Wishka mall. An Indian name by the sound of it.

Thea hated shopping so it didn't take long for her to grab the things she needed.

"Don't forget chips." She said as we walked by the shelf.

"Chips? Thea, I thought we were only getting essentials?"

"You get your essentials, I'll get mine." She said, throwing a bag of potato chips into the cart.

"Thea, sometimes you can be so...Thea?" I changed my sentence as I saw her stop abruptly, staring ahead of her.

"Um, you okay?"

"Turn. Turn around now!" She ordered.

"Uh, okay."

We both turned and headed back down the aisle, turning round a corner.

"What is it?" I asked as Thea peaked around a pile of cereal boxes.

"That man over there by the shelf with the milk. He's one of those government people...And has surprisingly good taste in food."

"How do you know?"

"Well look in his cart."

"No, I meant, how do you know he's a government official?"

"I just know......Oh great! He's coming this way."

"And you're coming this way." A voice said from behind us, grabbing my left arm and Thea's right.

"Hey, let go of me!" Thea hissed.

"Shut up or you'll get a bullet through your head."

Thea continued to glare, but didn't say anything.

We were led outside of the grocery store and tossed into a black limo with no windows, the man locking the doors behind us. The next thing we knew the car was moving, but we couldn't see where.

"This was not on my bucket list." Thea said gloomily.

- Emily's Point of View -

"Well, I'm gonna miss you." I said, handing Tehya her canvas bag.

"Look, I've only been here a year. You can't have gotten that attached to me." She laughed.

"No, I'm gonna miss the cooking. I'd never tried a hamburger before you made one."

"Yeah, well, the hamburgers here stink. I'm sorry, but they do."

I chuckled at that and passed her other bag to her. She chucked it in the trunk and then locked it, tossing the keys to me saying, "You drive. I'm not use to the opposite side."

"How about, neither of you drive." A voice said from behind us.

"Now turn slowly and don't make any funny movements."

We did as we were told and as soon as we turned, I knew this wasn't going to be a regular afternoon.

"Now get into the helicopter...NOW!"

We shuffled into the helicopter that had landed on the private golf course and the man followed, pointing a gun strait at us.

- Ken's Point of View -

"One...Two...Three....And hike!" I shouted, passing the ball to Sue who was behind me.

Sue immediately made a dash for the touchdown, dogging Logan as he lunged at her. She ran as fast as she could, ignoring the slippery grass beneath her feet. Then, out of the blue, Teg jumped and tackled her to the ground, grabbing the football.

"Haha, beat that!" She bragged throwing the ball on the ground.

"Okay, okay. You and Logan got the ball; but you still haven't made a touchdown." I reminded her.

"Well neither have you."

"Welp, that's Lizzy right there. See ya!" Sue said, grabbing her bag and running off to the red convertible that just drove up.

"Oh my gosh! It's 2 o'clock already? I have to get to the college." Logan said, rushing off, leaving just Tegan and me.

"Looks like neither of us will make a touchdown."

"Not today at least." She beamed.

"Definitely not today." A voice said from behind us.

"Now turn around slowly and don't make any quick movements."

We did as we were told, but as soon as Teg nodded slightly I swung to the side and grabbed the mans wrist. The wrist with the gun, that is. Teg immediately swung a round house kick right into his stomach, sending him sprawling on the ground.

"Those five years of karate finally paid off." She said, giving me a fist bomp.

"Hopefully you can do it with 20 other guys." I said as we turned to see a whole platoon of armed men.

"You're coming with us." An officer said, climbing out of the helicopter.

- Alright, here ya go. The next chapter. Sorry it took so long. I decided that I'd start putting the puzzle together for you guys so please, let me know what you think. Thanks :D - Anna
